Iron and Blood

Clang, Clang, clang, went the hammer. Miho didn't do much by crafting menu unless a customer asked for it made that way. Those orders were pretty rare and she was glad. After all no matter the world she was on? She was a blacksmith in the end. So working away she went finshing up the latest order she was working on.

Three knocks crash into the door of her shop, solid and intent, followed by the creak of it pivoting open and the click of it being pushed shut. Robert does not announce his presence, however. Instead he opts for taking up a position against the wall, one leg crossed over the other, arms folded over his chest. He watches, waiting for Miho to finish her work. Or at least to come to a stopping point.

Miho calls out "Let your self in I'll be a moment." Clang clang clan, she's got ot fish up the satep she's working. Her tail sways with each strike as she works away. Once she's finish she'll put her tools away turn down the forge a bit and come out front. "Oh hey been a while. Here for your order?"

SpritesHero inclines his head in acknowledgement, pushing off the wall to approach the counter. "Yup," he confirms. "Order for Robert Lutjens. Set of throwing darts." A faint pause, a quick once-over scrutiny of Miho. "You look like you've been doing well. Business getting crazy for you lately?"

Miho says "I fished those yesterday, they are packed and ready for you. Yes, though I don't know for how much longer. Who knows if the Palace Lander will play poltical games to get us kicked out of the root cities. If that's the case things will get really nasty for us. I'm trying to keep on top of orders due to that."

"Perfect. Mind if I take a look?" Not that Robert doubts the quality; he's already tapping at his interface to send his fee over to Miho. With, naturally, a bit extra by way of a tip. But he's never been any good at impulse control. And this is like a Christmas prsent that somebody's said he can't open until he gets home. So naturally he wants to open it now. "You got plans as to how to move your shop quickly, if things head south?"

Miho goes to fetch the weapons which are already wrapped in burlap which she brings back to Spriteshero. "Take a look your all pair up now and they are ready and sharpened. I'll throw what I can in my inventory and go. I can make another forge. Though what we're going to have to do? It won't be pretty."

SpritesHero neatly parts the burlap with a wave of his hand, takes a dart in his hand, and closes his hand. He tests the point with his thumb, tests the balance, tests the weight...in short, tests everything short of -actually- throwing the thing in Miho's shop. "Won't be pretty in what way?" he asks, eyes still closed.

Miho looks to Spriteshero her liminal rings in her eyes seeming to glow. "How we may have to stop them. We'll have to see how that goes but I'll put the people of Yamato and us before the Palace Lands if it comes to it. This is what we get for trying to aid them against a wave..."

SpritesHero's eyes reopen just in time to catch the glowing eyes, and nearly drops the dart. He fumbles, catches it by the point with a faint wince, and neatly tucks it back into the packaging. "Ah. Yes," he responds after the awkward moment passes. "You definitely seem emotionally committed to the defense. You were present when the attack happened, then?" he queries.

Miho says "When the inital attack on us in the Palace Lands happened? Yes, but not the other. With my current order I have in the forge right now done i'll be caught up and starting to think on my next move. You should hit up hifumi's restueant while your in town by the way."

SpritesHero laughs at that, tucking his order into his inventory. "Product placement: truly inescapeable," he comments with a grin and a shake of his head. "But I've heard good things about his place. I'll be sure to stop by." He dips his chin politely, in a bow. "You are busy. I will be on my way. Stay safe."

Miho smiles fiantly "Thank you and same to you. Look I tend to eat there when i'm in town. Since I don't have cooking. The foods good as is the company there. You take care as well."
