Around the Campfire

So it's a bit aways from Eas and Gwen's set up camp. Theres a fire out she's glad in armour still, as for what she's doing? She's working over the fire cooking a meal. She's whistling as she goes so but it's a bit off as she does not have song. Still she seems happy as she stirs the pot...

"So those magic landmines really did the trick? Too bad they probably won't fall for it so easily a second time." And Gwen had plenty to cook because Shiruba had scored some game on the way to meet up. Or maybe that makes it a meat up? But lets not get into the puns so easily. "But it goes to show the enemy is defeatable. When they're not being dirty cheaters."

Gwen says "Damn shame I missed it, must have been a heck of a show, yes and what did you expect? I have no idea how far they will go and it concerns me. I wish they'd just leave us alone, but that's not how it's going to be is it?" She'll stir the pot once more.

"If only we could be so lucky," Shiruba replied with a sigh, resting her elbow on a knee and proping her chin with her hand. "But when they can just somehow take over an entire Root City like that it's going to take more than one failed siege to get them to back off. Until we can do something about the actual crowns so they can't just enslave more people to throw under the war machine..."

Gwen says "They won't leave us alone no. They want to make us worse than dead too." She shakes he head at this. "I'm still off the mind we need to kill the Palace Land's rulers and any who can make the crowns." She says looking very unhappy. "Still the food's almost done."

"I still can't help but wonder if the Nobles aren't somehow victims of an even less obvious threat that's making them act this way. But until we know otherwise, we have to consider them an enemy." Shiruba sighed as she sat up. "At least with my training finished I can get back on top of the matter. Going to need my stuff together and my wits in order for that war council meeting."

Gwen says "Even if they are I do not care not with what they have done. It's unforgivable." Gwen notes, she'll start to get some bowls and will being to pour soup for herself and anyone else who wants it. "I pitty you for getting promoted like you did."

Shiruba shakes her head as she accepts the bowl of soup. "I'm not saying they should get a free pass. Just it's possible they're not the top of the pyramid, as it were."

Gwen says "Got to get the whole thing in that case, we might need to pump them for information. I just want this war to end as soon as possible you know?"

Shiruba pauses in sipping her soup. "We all do, Gwen. None of us came here intending to go to war, yet now we're stuck with no choice for the time being. I just hope the other servers aren't as messed up."

Gwen says "Who knows I'm not sure we should try to unlock anymore, breaking the seal about yamato appears to have been a mistake at least possibly."
