Business and Scales

Miho is between orders at the moment, Miho's behind the counter looking over some book. Likely it's her ledger doing some paper work as she has a slow time. Her big old dog is sleeping by the counter seemingly barking in it's sleep at the moment, all and all? A quiet day.

    A man walks through the door of the smithy shop, that man? Vafrum. A werefang who likes to hide that he is such and doesn't like to overly advertise it either. He looks over the wares, browsing them with some care.

He then picks up a dagger looking it over with those slight predatory gold eyes, before placing it back on the shelf. Then his attention turns to Miho, reading her book. "Your work, i wager?"

Miho looks up to see a fairly notable man enter her shop, she watch as he glances over her waresa gets a dagger and comes over ot the counter with it. "Aye my ledger. I was just making sure I was cuaght up on who had outstanding debts to me. So far it seems I have no one i need to turn upside down and shake for lose change. So what Can I do for you sir? Interested in that dagger I take it?"

    "Perhaps." Vafrum says calmly moving the edge with some care on his finger tip. "Or just admiring the work. Mayhaps even curious if you are selling your own wares to the nations in need, during this time of war."

Miho says "I have been doing a lot of orders yes and I'm not trying to gouge them what do I look like? I make a very modest profit and then sink the rest into the next batch. I ain't going to turn the screws on our hosts sides if we win i'll just have even more repuation anyway right?"

    Vafrum chuckles gently, "Don't worry, i was simply curious." He then places the dagger back down on the counter. "Do you have any other daggers by chance? Perhaps... up for a custom order?"

Miho says "Yes to both questions good sir. I do everything from cookery, nails to enchanted weapons." She beams at this. "If only my master could see me now." She seems sad for a moment. "Though I think he'd be glad to know what I was doing. So what might you be looking for in a custom order?"

     "Some daggers like this." Vafrum admits motioning to it. "But with a curved blade like a claw. The hilt to handle firmly in my hands and no matter how i hold it, I will always have a firm grip." Vafrum explains. "This conflict is teaching me that while i may be more of a merchant in trade... I need more than my silver tongue, charming looks, and fists."

Miho thinks for a moment her tail swishing for a moment as she checks over the designs in her head. "I can do that fairly easily and be careful with such a tongue. I hear they can be dangerous thing to have."

    Vafrum grins as he leans on the counter with one arm, "You have no idea..." He then goes to stand fully back up and smiles softly. "Also Id like two of them, if you are willing. How much would my cost be?"

Miho smirks for a moment at this and she nods "A paired set I would take it. Any decorations or things etched into them?"

    Vafrum hand waves gently. "While i would love for fancy work, they are for combat, but," He then looks at her. "Ill leave it to your descretion."

Miho smirks "Oh giving me the freedom on that? I'll knock a few gold off then. So what's your name and we'll need to friend so I can contact you when your order's done."

    Vafrum grins a bit more. "Vafrum." He then follows it with a bow. "And i look forward to seeing your beautiful work."

Miho smirks back. "Very well then." She'll send the friend invite to him, turn and head to the forge. It was time to sketch out things and then get to work.
