The mood has abated

Gwen's getting back to normal as her strange mood has finished for the moment. So she's out to check out what's going on in town now she's thinking clearly.

Gwen
Alne - Main Square

Gwen has been busy she's been working on making the Denim for several tests runs of things. She has finished up working and is just wandering the town for the moment. She wants to see how things are going. She's been chatting up merchants she knows. Heck she's chipper skipping along...quite the sight given here size.
Yeowang
Alne - Main Square

Yeowang is, just at the moment, exiting the Hunters' Guild, having checked off a few of today's quests and picked up the quests for tomorrow that are available tonight. There will be more in the morning, but she will be started on her daily grind by the time they are posted. The early bird may get the worm, but it find itself in Yeowang's crosshairs. She seems to be, unfairly, the type that is good both late at night -and- early in the morning.

She of course spots Gwen. You generally spot Gwen quite a ways off, by the way she stands at 25 percent over scale. But she likes Gwen, and she's a familiar face, and she, herself, hasn't talked to anyone all day apart from the Landers in the Guild, who just have their 2-3 canned phrases. "Hello, Gwen," she calls out, approaching.

Gwen is looking to be in good shape as she turns about to wave to Yeowang. "Hello Yeowang how are you? I finished my project and I feel so much better now! We have Denim here and I'm working on a few prototypes for farming and mining related ware mostly overalls and pants."

Yeowang nods to Gwen about her plans for denim. "It's probably too early for a denim gaucho," she muses. "That would come after denim has become a commonly seen item in other contexts." She considers, and says, "I generally do not wear jeans, myself, but I think a pair of hard-wearing dark trousers might be of use to me as well, if they're ... well, a bit more stretchy than jeans typically are." Usually, it's a dress or skirt, though in game, it tends to be adventuring gear. In RL, it tended to things like yoga pants, because if you can kick over your head but your pants can't, it's a problem.

Gwen says "I admit I made myself a personal item or two. A jacket and a pair of Daisy Dukes though you might not get that little referance. The durablity is pretty high for cloth gear on what I have made too." She beams at this. "It should work out pretty well for the people I'm targeting for my first items. Hopefully it will save them some money." Gwen humm for a moment.

"I dunno could justify it as a design test if you want one."

Yeowang considers this seriously for a moment. Gauchos are probably loose enough that she could kick in them. "I could pay for them, of course," she says off-handedly. Cash is rarely a problem for the mistress of the Ninetails Bank, which is doing a booming business in wartime loans. "They are not my typical style, but I could ... field-test them for you." With her martyial arts style, it's certain her clothes are put to the test every day. What she's currently wearing looks oft-mended, generally via menu.

Gwen Says "Bouth sound like ideas to me I would be willing to make such a deal if you are game for it." Gwen seems pretty happy about this idea. "Is there anything else you might be looking for Yeowang?"

Yeowang sighs wistfully about what she's looking for. "A way out of this game?" she asks ironically. "Or my boyfriend in it? We were supposed to meet here, because he's still in Korea, and I was in college in Japan. But I think he didn't make it into the game when we got locked in." She shrugs. "He has a lot of obligations, and perhaps decided that 'one day won't matter'. When I found we were stuck here, I was upset, and when I found that Japan was isolated, I was very disappointed. But now that the Palace Lands, which are supposed to be China /and/ Korea are open to us, I was hoping he might turn up. But with what we know of the Crowned business ..." She shrugs. "I am not sure if I'd prefer that he's still over there but in hiding, or that he died and is out of the game, or that he never had a chance to log on."

Gwen says "Perhaps he did if he was on the Palace Land's server....we will have to find him. Rescuging him if nessary." She notes hopefully. Gwen dodges the whole wantint to go back thing but she seems to get why Yeowang does want such a thing though from her tone. She gets very quiet at the last bit trailing off...

Yeowang nods thoughtfully, dismissing the thought with a sigh. "Sorry for unloading. But yeah, I figure we'll eventually rescue that server. I'm afraid of what we might need to do to do that, though." She's generally on the side of helping Landers and treating them the same way she would treat people in RL. But people like the Palace Landers, she would definitely ... well, see them arrested, if it were RL. The Police were always very cooperative with YK Security. Here, there's no arresting. And how could you, when Earth Magic would melt any cell away? "Anyway," she says. "Yes, a denim gaucho might be flexible enough to fight in."

Gwen looks to Yeowang "The ones dealing in Crowns have a death warrent we can't leave them alive. Otherwise hopefully we can keep the carnage to the very low end of things or to not at all. As for your order I should be able to do what your asking me to do."
Yeowang

Yeowang nods gravely about the order. As far as the death warrant, she seems to agree, but reluctantly. "I see no other way. And they would take it as weakness if we did." The two of them are vaguely outside, not far from the Hunters' Guild building.

Gwen says "I have to ... agree. It's all they will understand, we also need to make sure the ways to make crowns is lost forever." She shakes her head. "To bad we couldn't turn off their root town's protection." She grimaces but then brightens "We'll figure something out I best get going though I have things I need to get done."

Yeowang nods about making sure the way of making crowns is lost forever. "Sadly, I think that will be more easily said than done. It would be enough if they fell out of use, I think. But there are so many, I think, and they seem to have an inexhaustible supply. I wonder if perhaps they haven't lost the secret to making them, after all?" But she will bid Gwen farewell as she departs. "Take care."
