Taking It Eas-y

Having taken a break from her efforts to help the refugees staying in Tolbana, Shiruba took a few days to make the trip out to Eas and see how the force holding up it's defenses were doing. Making sure she didn't miss anything important while she had been taking care of her own training and helping others with theirs. So into the village she comes, riding upon her Peko as is the usual way of getting around. Though it looks like things are in reasonable order here, even with the invaders looming close by in Mac Anu still.

Erufu is out carrying messages and such between some groups of Moontree operatives. Eas was just a stop over for her, which just happened to ahve he wandering around town for a bit. Well she was also on her world tour of archery training. Though the target Goblin Slayer was going to drag her to, was looming over her. She couldn't and would not say no to that either. She is in thought though she sport Shiruba giving her a wave.

"Shiruba!"

Shiruba reigns Tradewind to a stop as she hears her name, ears twitching to pick up on the source. Then waves back when she spots the elfen archer. "Hello Erufu!" Swings her leg over to slide off the bird's back. "I didn't know your training had brought you all the way out to Eas."

Erufu says "It has, I also had some errands for the guild here. So here I am what has you out this way?" She beams at her friend "Maybe we can find something to eat and catch up?"

"Came out to check on how things are going up here, seeing as the Palace Landers are still holing up near by in Mac Anu." Shiruba takes out a cluster of leafy greens for Tradewind to munch on, then follows after her friend. "After helping you get started on your training I've been up in Tolbana helping restructure their defenses and keep up housing for the people taking refuge there."

Erufu says "I have been doing scouting between training and messaging. To think I'd end up being a courier." At least she's not been shot in the head over that. "I should see what else needs doing for Moontree. Though I must wonder how did the Palace Land Noblity get these abominations?"

"I know. But first we need to deal with them being used. Then we'll worry about where they came from so we can keep it out of ill intending hands." Not the most prolific solution but Shiruba is worried more about importance than being fancy about it. She gives Erufu a pat on the shoulder. "Landers can't use Chimlinks, so its good to have people like you that can help with keeping everyone informed."

Erufu says "That we do, we need to end this nightmare. It is strange they can not but I'm glad to be of use there." She beams a little bit at this. "So you hungry?"

Shiruba squints. "Are you forgetting who you're talking to?" When is the wolfgirl ever not ready to stuff her face with food? Off to the nearest food establishment that's still open! "So how did your training go?"

Erufu laughs "All too true come then and It's going well so far." She strides along after Shiruba. "I feel like I'm getting close."

"Speaking of," Shiruba chimes back in, "I've also been working on making fire arrows that don't require magic to ignite. Just good old pitch and a spark. Somewhat of a backup so I can reserve my mana for the big elemental shots that need all the juice they can get."

Erufu says "That's a good idea so long as we keep that away from Goblin Slayer..." No fire, no posion no explosions is a rule at this point.

Shiruba snorts softly. "Yeeeah. Or at least keep it from getting out of hand. These sort of things are an only when necessary, not just to toss off at random."
