Soujiro Seta
Dun Loireag - Mithrilscale Ironworks

The door opens to the MIthril Scale Ironworks to a new potential customer. Long blue hair tied back in a ponytail. Flowing hakama and kimono setup. Sandals. This smiling brainless beauty looks like an Edo period samurai, a young man with a warm smile and kind eyes. Also it looks like the shop got a lot busier as one, two, four, eight different ladies come in behind him. Clearly just to shop, of course. "Hello!" Souji says as he calls out for the establishment's employees. He has been training and needs to restock on a weapon or fifty.
Miho

Miho is back at the Ironworks hammering away at some project ot another as she hears someone come in. A rather large dog laying near the counter looks up and barks to get Miho's attention then lays its head down on the ground. It seems to not see the customer as a threat nor his companion. Miho calls out.

"Just a moment!"

She'll come out from the forge a moment later as her tail swishing behind her.

"So how can I help you sir and ladies? Also welcome to the Ironworks!"
Soujiro Seta

Soujiro Seta is already smitten by big ole doggo. He squats down to the laying woofer and begins petting him with a big smile on his face. "Who is a good boy? You're a good boy."

So at first it looks like the shop just got populated by a bunch of ladies. "Just looking!" one says, "Do you have anything lighter? I-I mean this would be good for training!" Another just dives behind one of the aisles when called out. Then Soujiro pops up from petting the dog, "Hi there! What is this adorable little guy's name?" he asks, seeing if the floof in question will 'shake' or roll over.
Miho

The Dog woofs and Soujiro might notice? It looks like the ones from the very old spinner's dungeon. Miho meanwhils looks to the man for a moment.

"Training gear? Aye I have some and can make more if it's needed. Oh that's Kuro!"

She says with a grin.

Soujiro Seta is a long time gamer. "Kuro," he says to Kuro the woofen. "Hey there. You look familiar. Like from the Spinner Dungeon series," the samurai proclaims with a fresh scritch. "Good boy."

The friendly samurai now stands up, looking down to the short stacked Miho, "You do?" he asks like Miho knows how to read his mind! Pure happiness on this guy. "I need one hundred katanas," he says like he just ordered a side of fries and a coke. Is he trying to arm a small army?! Is this a mercenary captain? There is a brief moment when he checks the inspection, but introduces himself anyway, "I'm Soujiro, but my friends call me Souji. Is this place yours?"
Miho

Miho says "I managed to befriend one of the mine dogs and that was Kuro there." she smirks a bit. "Didn't think they desved to be out in the cold you know. All right 100 Katana's? Standard? Anything special? Guild or Alliance markings? Yes I'm Miho Mirthilscale. Call me Miho if you like."
Soujiro Seta

"You are a kind and big hearted person, then, Miho," sparkles Souji, warmed by the notion of saving an animal in a mine like that. "And you are one lucky doggo, Kuro!" he lets the dog know what he already knows. The women in the store are now suitably distracted by the dog now. New harem: Kuro Harem.

Souji looks from dog to owner and does onto detail, "The standard level 10 ones that have the lightweight native attribute that lowers their durability in favor of increased attack speed." He swipes to access his inventory and takes out two of them. They appear in his hands as he hands them in a small bow to Miho. "More of these. They are a perfect fit for the higher level katana I have to get reforged after a few more levels. Until then, training." Fire in his eyes, "Glorious training." And more training.
Miho

Miho says "You flatter me sir as for that I can produce those. Hand forged I would presume, right? I see where you are going given I do use a Katana when I'm up close. Been thinking on forging a custom Katana and a Naginata for myself after all both are weapons of a Samurai no? Wair reforging? Do you have someone in mind to do that?!"
Soujiro Seta

Soujiro Seta runs a hand along the back of his head as he admits, "I lost a lot of my best gear during the expansion. The Sacred Sword Kogarasumaru being one of them and it has a similar length and weight to these katanas here." The hand goes back down to his side as he smiles, "I could use the company of an expert weaponsmith during its forging, if you are up to the challenge. Smithing with friends is always more fun." Wait, he can smith too?! "Hand forged, yes! The feeling of knowing someone with talent and heart for their craft created it gives a weapon its own feel. Like part of their wishes are carried with you into battle." Both hands clench, "just makes me want to fight even harder!"

A grin to Miho about the custom weapons. "The katana is! For you, the Naginata would be too! During the Edo period, the naginata was a symbol of grace and elegance for lady warriors. It'd suit you perfectly as a graceful and beautiful lady. I can you dicing up monsters in elegance and power with one of those." Samurai Warrior Miho, Naginata edition.

Miho says "We all did, got knocked back to level one. I am, so far as I know I'm the best weapon smith in all of Yamato." She tilts her head a bit as she thinkg for a moment.

"Aye that's what a good weapon or tool should do. That it was good sir, aye my family were forging such things during that period." Wait did she just say that? yues she did. "It's good to see someone knows their history." She's clearly been flatted and isn't going nuclearly over it, such is Soujiro's skills.

"The Edo period is a fascinating time," Souji says with a big warm smile on his face, "and the fact your family was forging weapons during that time? Wow." Some people sound like they are forcing joy and Soujiro Seta is NOT one of them. Its the look on someone's face when they see a rainbow for a first time or tasted /real/ food after Cooking was figured out. "Thats amazing! I bet that is how you can make such good quality blades like that one." The one Soujiro points out isn't the most expensive or highest level katana. Its the one that would take the most skill to make. The one that was before expansions where you had to get all the right materials and even then the failure rate was high. The weapon that became 'obsolete' when the next release brought people's gear up to speed. But the recipe remained. The time and skill required remained. A reminder of a challenge. Of an older period in Elder Tale. Like Edo.

"When I get the material together, I'd love to work with you to reforge the Kogarasumaru, Miho. I think thats one of the great things about going back to Level 1." Lots of people were upset, frustrated even. Like they earned and deserved the status they worked for. That they were cheated out of it. Not Soujiro. "You get to do it all over again like it was new. Isn't that awesome?" They say the first play through is the genuine experience. Once it is over you can't relive it the same way. To Souji it means you actually can and that sort of happiness radiates out of him like a guiding star.
Miho

Miho says "We have been smiths since at least some time in the warring states era. It's been mostly kitchenwares though since the second world war." She shrugs a bit. "Also given the materials here in Yamato? I can forge things out of myth. Well that's what I'm aiming for then i'd be honored to. Well everything over but you have some idea of what your doing. I'm not complaining the amount of business from Adventurers alone has been pretty good and the rest of it I'm as happy to make anything but Kitchen tools."
Soujiro Seta

Soujiro Seta smiles at the idea of a kitchen. Because food. Food is good. "What do you do when you are not in a forge," he asks, taking an interest and Miho as a Miho. "Questing for rare materials? Playing with the bestest boy?" Thats right, he hasn't forgotten about you, Kuro. The ex-mine dog gets a warm smile and a fresh scritch. "Also what is your favorite drink so I can bring some of it by next time I'm in the shop to refresh after working the forge. Though," he laughs, "I mostly make various teas. Because tea is great and great for you."
Miho
Dun Loireag - Mithrilscale Ironworks

Miho says "Questing for materials questin in general was exploding the Palace Lanads and the like. I'm working with enchanting now as well so I don't have to hire as many outside enchanters for my work. Humm I don't mind Green Tea would do honestly." Kinda standard but then again? She likes what she likes.

"One of my favorites too," Souji says as he stands, "do you like yours chilled, too? Something refreshing about a nice iced green tea after a meal or a training session. Gets my blood pumping for more." Something Miho said made the Samurai think. Which, although insightful, thinking isn't his strong suit. "The Palace Lands! Across the sea. I can't wait to get over there myself." There are enemies there. Many of them. "Sounds like a real challenge. We should check it out together sometime, you can show me around." Another quirk, "Enchanting? I thought you made the character that way." The skill, not the feature.
Miho

Miho says "Going have to kill a lot of Palace Lander nobles when we do." Shockingly this is Miho Mellowed down over what she wanted to do to the Palace Lands.

"We'll have to se what we'll do there. Well our settlement is likely ash now there we'll have to rebuild..."

Miho turns a bit red for a moment. "Oh thank you but..." She trails off for a moment looking a bit flustered.
Soujiro Seta

Soujiro Seta makes it all that much worse by putting a hand on Miho's shoulder. Sparkle. "We will kill a lot of them for what they did. Then we can rebuild. Starting from Level 1, right? A new Adventure together." Sparkle. The Samurai takes a step to the side and looks like he is going to give the smith a hug, but it turns out he was walking nearby. "Have to head out for now. Mind if I swing by in a couple days for all those katanas? I'll bring by some fresh green tea, too." A big warm smile to the blushing Miho. Hotter than a forge!

Miho is still very red for the moment. "That sounds like it would be fun! I will have them done then! If you will excuse me I need to get to work!" It's a good thing she's got a mostly free plate at the moment. "I better get to work!" Zoom she's gone still very red!
