Duel: Shirin vs Fukasa Yuri

    Rumors were about everywhere that one the palace lander sheriff of Rosenheim was roaming the country side. Several people had ran into town scaared and damaged having just escapd from PVP and few , well few return a day later at their local church. Where could this dastardly sheriff be right now?

     Shirin is in fact sititng around a campfire right now, it is small but the smoke in the air is a dead give away and lets not forget the singing. Yes that is right the sheriff is sitting around the campfire, in his cowboy hat singing camp fire songs. The unfortunate moment about all of this is that he lacks the song concept and thus is singing horribly off key and it is horribly unpleasant to the ears.

     Ah, PVP. One of Fukasa Yuri's favorite passtimes. When there were palace landers roaming, Yuri was there playing cat and mouse with them. Probably to the point she's actively on the list of people to hunt down and making the palace landers make sure that they're always in groups of two or more in the area since she seemed to tend to target the single landers for her assaults. For the most part she hasn't fully finished them off, but beaten them to the point they have to run. Something about needing better prey.

     So, when Shirin ended up being alone? It's likely no surprise -- possibly even planned for -- as Yuri approached the edge of the campsite, her trident held firmly in hand. The shuffle of undead sailors is likely the first thing to tip off the Sheriff to her presence, since she's not QUITE going in guns blazing. Gotta make sure it's not a Yamato person, after all. "'Sup. Crowned or un?" She asks calmly from the edge of the campfire, looking towards the sheriff. Is she just that confident? Probably. She's not exactly known for her humility.

    Shirin may have noticed the undead but he makes no movement or concern about the situation. He is a bit overly confident in the matter of dealing with any annoying undead who enter his camp grounds and continues to sing. That is until a voice speaks up and interupts his 10th verse of 'Row Row Row Your Boat'. Taking a moment to consider what is being asked he stands up slowly and brushes himself off.

     "Manners dictate that one should introduce themselves before making demands of others. " Taking his cowboy hat off and giving a bow he shows off a circlet with a blue gem before he puts his hat back on. "My name is Shirin, sheriff of Rosenheim. Appointed by the wonderful Queen Lorelei. I can nly ssume you have came to turn yourself in. If you drop all your gear and allow me to bind and gag you I will escort you to Mac Anu and we will welcome you into our folds."

     "You really should pick up the song skill. It'll help out with your singing a little, you seem a bit passionate about it. Assuming you survive all this." Yuri comments absently. "Anyway, me? I am Fukasa Yuri, the Lily of the Depths from the Olympus Alliance." She dips into a small curtsy, though her face is not really the most polite of them. "A 'wonderful' queen who robs you of everything that makes you worthwhile though... I know it's brainwashing, but that actually hurts to hear."

     A grin spreads on her lips, sharp teeth becoming visible as she lifts her trident towards Shirin. "So. I think I'll free you from this! Have joy, you're being rescued by a Nero Idol~. If only I could record this, you'd go viral~." A pair of magical circles appear at the tip of her trident, unleashing two blasts of energy towards Shirin. One turning into dark energy, and the other turning into a dart of high pressure water, twirling mid-air as they fly towards Shirin's chest!

    Shirin tilts his head eyeing Fukasa for a moment or two before he grits his teeth, "Where I come from, insulting the queen is fighting words." He spits at the feet of Fukasa before he holds his hands out and a pair of small crossbows appear in his hands and he points them at the lady. "I am going to enjoy putting you in this... "

     The sheriff never gets to finish his entence as he ends up struck with the dark magic before he has to duck away from the high pressure water. "I WASN'T FINISHED YET!"

     Aiming his crossbow at the fire he lets fly a bolt of light that causes the fire to explode in Fukasa's direction to blind her for a moment before he lets go two more bolts of light in her general direction. "It's rude to interupt someone when they are talking."

     "Your queen is a manipulative woman who enslaved you, so yes, they are fighting words, really. She took everything unique about you and twisted you into this... whatever. Sheriff character. I bet you're normally a mild mannered cowboy or something." Yuri says, crossing her arms. "Welcome to real life, by the way. Things don't always wait for you~." Bolts of light flying towards Yuri, and she... doesn't seem to worry too much about them? Oh, no, she's just responding in a less direct manner by slamming her spear onto the ground, summoning several giant sand-swimmer bugs, rolling towards Shirin and absorbing some of the damage, while the drowned sailors come in to dash into the way of the attacks, cutlasses being lifted to slash at Shirin.

     "I hope you like water, Sheriff." She lifts her hand, her eyes glowing a soft blue color as a magical circle appears below Shirin's feet, a giant pufferfish breaking through the ground. "Drown." She says viciously, as the giant pufferfish closes its jaws around Shirin, disappearing afterwards and leaving behind a sphere of water in its wake.

    Shirin shakes his head, "The queen legitimized me. I was always a servant of justice, it was through her that I became the hero I am." A dark aura wraps around him as he makes a leap over the sand swimmer bugs and dashes away fromt he drowned sailors, though one of them manages to grab his sleeve that he has to rip away.

     At the mention of the water he shakes his head, " Jokes on you, I can swim." He says the words just in time for the puffer fish to attach the sphere of water to his head. As he stands there for a moment he looks at Fukasa rather annoyed but says nothing, due to having to hold his breath.

     Raising his weapon a green magic circle appears around it befor ehe fires off a single bolt made of rock, attempting to disrupt the magic.

     "Oh, I'm sure you were a servant of justice! ...What you're involved in right now is not justice. It's mere slavery." Yuri responds. Of course, she knows that her words are basically pointless. He's under the control of the crowns. Which is why she hates it /so much/ really. She shifts quickly, darting in towards Shirin along with the drowned sailors again, her trident stabbed out towards Shirin! ...It was a feint though, at the last moment she stops -- not entirely on her own, there was a bit of a rocky bolt striking her. She turns quickly after that strike, twisting and bringing her trident in towards Shirin, water building up along the edge of the trident, launched towards Shirin at the last second.

     And it spins forward attempting to cut through him, before returning like a boomerang, arcing back to strike at the Sheriff's back afterwards. "Hm. Normally I like to stay a little bit back, but it seems that you have a slight advantage at range. ...Can you even hear me with that bubble on your head actually? I --- oh there we go." Luckily the Drown effect kind of sort of disappears after a moment or two. "Don't expect to stay dry long though~." She teases.

    Shirin does seem to have a problem as he actually is running out of air and eventually has to waste precious energy to break the bubble of water around his head and still can't so he uses Fukasa's help. Yes he charges right in to the whirling blade and has it leave a red mark across his face in exchange for getting the bubble popped.

     Gasping for air he looks up and gets decked by a sailor before stumbling back, "Look here you ... you ... something unlady like. " Taking a deep breath he raises the two crossbows lines up one after another as they fire a single giant bolt of light towards Fukasa, aiming to take her out of the game, at least for 24 hours.

     "I am /perfectly/ ladylike, I'll have you know~. I'm just the femme fetale type of ladylike." Yuri responds, smirking towards Shirin. That said, when that giant bolt of light is gathered, Yuri actually bothers to properly defend herself again! Well, partially. Those drowned sailors are still moving in to harass Shirin, slashing at him and more or less doing their best to keep him boxed in and make it less easy for him to damage Yuri. Which also results in one of them losing their arm. Whoops. "Hey. Hey hey hey!" A coat of translucent energy surrounds Yuri, and she slides forward towards Shirin on a quick burst of water. The entire way riding the edge of that giant bolt of energy, leaving a massive spiderweb of red marks along her right side as she moves in to get close to the sheriff.
    "You hurt Gerard. How dare you, he didn't do anything to you!" Beyond stab at the sheriff. "He's not part of this, he's just my minion, gawd. How rude of you!" She calls out, grumbling at Shirin. Yes. She's the one who started this and was definitely the one being rude. "I'm trying to /help/ you by killing you, and you go and hurt Gerard. I swear, I've been being merciful to most people but you're not surviving this one!" She's right up in his face as she says this, waving around her Trident in anger, but not actually stabbing him or anything. No. That's just Gerard.

    Shirin was breathing a little hard and looks a bit worse for wear from when this all started. That having been said though he is on edge now and even the approach of one of the undead sailors causes Shirin to retreat. Jumping back into the treeline, "Not this time. I am going to bury your crew, I am going to bury you and I am going to look forward to you respawning. Tell me where is your church?" With a grin he begins the counterattack.

     Leaping into the air he comes down hard and slams his leg into the ground sending a compression wave through the ground. The ground would start to shake but it doesn't stop Shirin from delivering two beams of light from the crossbows. "Taste my justice!"

     "Bury my crew? Hah! They're already dead! That just sounds like you're giving them a gift! Was that supposed to be a threat?" Yuri flashes a wild grin in response, her trident spinning as three magic circles appear at the edges of the battlefield. "Unlike you... I'm not afraid to die. My church? ...You won't have to worry about that." Yuri laughs wildly as that shockwave sets her off-balance, though she simply grabs one of her drowned sailors to block the worst of those beams of light. "Mmm...." The beams cut through the drowned sailor, and Yuri as well. She didn't even try to guard. "Delicious..." She says, licking her lips. "Mmh... only downside to this world is nobody bleeds... that would cause such a lovely little wound..."

     "Now then. My turn~. Taste my wrath."

     "Water from the deepest depths." A pufferfish bursts out from one of the magic circles, even as that attack continues to tear through Yuri's body. "Fire from the bowels of Yamato." A salamander bursts from another magic circle. "The enduring stone of the eternal mountains." That sand-swimming beetle bursts from the ground, all three of them aimed towards Shirin. "I rather hope that you like hot springs~." She says cheerfully.

     "BLISTERING DEPTHS!" She calls out, as all three summons unleash a deluge of their own elements towards Shirin, fire and stone striking at SHirin first, gathering into a mass of molten rock, around and on Shirin's location, followed by the pufferfish unleashing instantly-boiling water towards Shirin as Yuri laughs wildly. Who's the villain here, really? ...Probably not Shirin at this point.

     "Did you enjoy that? ...Well. I have another present for you." She points towards Shirin, that wild grin coming back. "Fireball." A blast of fire unleashed into the center of that blistering sphere of magma and water causing the entire thing to explode into a rain of scalding water and magma.

    "Oh actually, I do enjoy a good hot spring they are rather..." Shirin is cut off as he sees the fire , stone and water all coming at him, "Oh." So Shirin does what he ahs been doing since he met Fukasa, he runs. He runs as fast as he can and doesn't stop running and avoids the hotspring, "HA! Missed m-..." Yes the fireball hits him square in the chest and he goes bouncing across the ground. A groan shows he isn't dead yet.

    Standing up slowly as he looks at the lady infront of him. "Listen here, I will not fail my queen. I will end you, and given by your answer that itself will deliver you to mine and your soon to be new queen."

     The sheriff drops his peacemakers and they disappear into the inventory as he charges forward. A strong left kick, a right jab, and then an ax kick all sent at Fukasa's direction as Shirin enters melee range. It appears he can do more then just keep his distance.

     "Yeah? Well, once we get you free, there's a nice hotspring in one of our cities. I think it's in the tower? I forget. Anyway, it's only a matter of time since we literally just have to kill one of yours to buy us a week of time from one of you guys." Yuri says amusedly. Might be a bit of weird whiplash, she went from crazily saying she was going to kill him to being almost friendly. "Anyway, you probably won't fail your queen! Your real queen. I'm sure that some asshole is pulling your queen's strings too much like yours are being pulled. You being defeated in a war doesn't warrant this level of response from your landers."

     As those attacks come in, Yuri *almost* forgets to even try to dodge, but quickly skitters off to the side after one of the strikes nicks her, a galloping motion across a bed of water that takes her out of the way of the worst of the oncoming attack, while those inexhaustable squad of drowned sailors continue their assault on Shirin, not really letting up the pressure as Gerard, still vengeful over his lost arm, swipes his blade towards Shirin!

    Gerard hits Shirin's clothes, as the target disappears from sight. Some sort of invisibility? No, the jackal-pangolin Cait Sith stands up in the air, mid air as he looks down on the opponent. "I am Shirin, Sheriff of Rosenheim. I am loyal to Queen Lorelai and you are in violation of article 327.4. No adventurer shall attempt to get in the way of the plans of the queen." Then as he holds out his arms his crossbows reappear in his hands. "For the queen and for justice I no longer can accept your surrender." He dives off the invisible ledge he was making his procolmations from before diving down shooting two more beams of light at Fukasa.

     Poor Gerard. He'll get his day, though. Eventually! Actually he's probably not even Gerard and Yuri was just being a dick, really. "That law is dumb, what if the Queen is being manipulated by someone evil or doing something out of character from how she normally is?!" Yuri lifts her hand as those twin beams come in, a series of small shields appearing in front of her hand to deflect the worst of the incoming attack. "...Why am I arguing with you?! You're literally mind controlled by your crown thing! Am I an idiot?! What the fuck am I doing?"
     The remaining bits of the attack strike her, leaving her hand glowing that angry red, cracks extending along her arm. "Well, whatever, at this point we're both just fighting for our lives, so you know what?" She grabs Gerard and chucks him up towards Shirin, the drowned sailor making a gleeful laugh and holding his cutlass out to attempt to spear Shirin! ... ... He's just a distraction though, as four of the other drowned sailors draw bows and aim for Shirin, waiting for him to start dodging to shoot arrows at the location they think he's going to dodge to!

    Shirin stands there watching the opponent as she throws her guards at him, "This is the different between you and the queen." He moves around the Gerard and pushes it aside before he is attacked from behind by another of the sailors and grabs it flipping itoff him. A bite mark present on his neck. "She does not use us as her shield." Turning his attention to Fukasa he charges her , this time though instead of going for a series of blows he leaps into the air as he spins around unleashing a single spin kick right at Fukasa's face.

     "...Look. I'm not a queen. I'm an adventurer. Not only am I a PVPer. I'm not pretending to be some noblewoman. You know what my goal is? I want to own a colosseum and run events for people, maybe even duel people in my colosseum for fun and profit. I absolutely love my summons. They're amazing. They're wonderful. They never let me down." Yuri darts to t he side, avoiding the worst of the attack with a sudden flash of energy, as that trident lifts again.

     "At the end of the day? No matter what happens here? They're not actually injured. They get unsummoned and re-summoned and are good as new." She points towards Shirin. "And they're loyal to me because I've earned their trust. Anyway, you know. I'm kind of getting tired of you." Those three summons pop up again, back at that edge of the battlefield. "Darlings? Blistering Depths." That mix of fire, water, and earth is unleashed towards Shirin once more, as Yuri licks the worst of her wounds. Still, if she dies she goes to possibly the worst possible location. Should she really fight this out all the way to the end? Hmm. Yuri's confidence falters. But she isn't running. Yet.

    Shirin's eyes widen at the return of the demonic hot springs summons and he does his best to get away. Unfortunately instead Shirin goes for a swim and as he washes out from the mess he can be heard mumbling, "I've had enough baths today." Standing up shakily to his feet he begins to focus his little mana left, and lets it all come down to this final move. A giant arrow of light forms across the two crossbows and he launches it towards Fukasa,"Catch!"

     "Aww, but baths are wonderful and warm~. And you seem to have that old man gene that makes you comfortable even in lava-hot baths! So congratulations on that!" Yuri responds. And then... those two crossbows charge up again. Yuri glances at her health and thinks about how much damage she took before from it, even with putting some solid defense against it. She takes a deep breath, and does something awful. Something she never likes to do. She goes full defensive. She holds her hands out, gathering energy in front of her to create several layers of defense, adding one... two... three layers all focused on the center of that oncoming arrow. "...Fine... I'll catch it." And she holds that defense, while two of her drowned sailors leap into the way of the attack. The rest keeping up their defensive formation. The sailors get blasted through. Gerard gets blasted through.

     One layer of shield cracks... and shatters. The second layer begins to crack and shatter... and the thin layer of her Energy Coat That Yuri uses to grab onto the attack with all of her strength burns through, finally shattering, leaving heavy burns on Yuri's hands, steam rising from them. "...Hah... caught it... you worthless pawn..." She says quietly. And then? Then she opts for the smart option. She activates her Relic, suddenly and completely turning invisible before she books it. The Shadow of the Fear Dorcha likely saving her life as she runs.

    Shirin was caught off guard, twice! First when the damn witch actually catches the attack. Then when the damn witch turns invisible and disappears. He stands alert for a few minutes to make sure before he walks over to a tree and slumps against it. It hurt to just sit. Slowly he activates his comm, "Hey Daiyu, that summoner you faught did they use undead sailors and throw hotsprings at you?"

     Once she's far enough away and she's sure that she's not about to take another hit, Yuri also slumps against a tree, breathing heavily from the sprint away from the battlefield. "Haaah.... haaah.... haaah... hahahahahaahahaha! ... That... was.... amazing! ...I lost. Barely survived. Hahahaha! I love PVP so much! Next time I'll get that pawn of a sheriff." Pause. "...Wait. We're NOT supposed to kill them, right?" ... Oh right. She's close enough that JUST MAYBE that guy might have heard her. So she forces herself up again, and slips into the underbrush to hide as she moves further away. Just to be safe.
