Comming home

Miho had been parying hard, drinking hard and having a grand old time. Heck she was doing some very interesing dancing on some tables for a bit. Though one healer later someone had purged Miho of her buzz for the most part, well enough to function and she was moving some cargo boxes into the main hall full of various supplies.

"Now if we can only get the 'stench' out of here. She's in tank top and her forging pants as she works. She a heck of a lot stronger than here size suggests she should be.

"Good to be back and we're lucky they didn't burn this place to the ground..."

Kaydon probably overdid it at the party the night before, but after sleeping in his own bed for the first time in months, he had wandered into the headquarters proper. He could see Miho was already working on trying to get things back up and running, so he moved over to grab one of the crates and heft it, "Surprised they left it as intact as they did." He mutters, as he hauls the box onwards to where it needs to go, "The smell will be harder to deal with."

Miho tail swishes a bit a she laughs at Kaydon's joke. "Maybe, but I got to wonder. All the stories of what the noblity and other People of the land involved in this did?" She shudders.

"Such naked evil is hard to ignore. We will never be safe so long as those crowns and them are out there." She frowns as she moves a box along side the one Kaydon just put into place.

"Oh we won't ignore it." Kaydon says, as he sets his box down in the pile of crates with the same emblem, "We'll take the fight into the Palace Lands itself, and we'll free all the people of the Land, and the Adventurers. But we can't do that yet. Not while they still have a presence in Yamato. And not while there's any chance for them to counter attack."

He starts to head back towards the other crates at the edge of the room, "We've dealt them a blow, no doubt." He grabs the crate and hefts it onto his shoulder, "But you're right. We won't be safe until we ensure all the crowns are disabled."

Miho looks to Kaydon.

"It won't be that easy they can hide in the root cities and the few methods I could think of that might work are on the scale of The Great Khan would approve of it. We also need to destroy the crowns and any that have not been used. They must be destroyed. We need to consider we will have to take out the leaders of each Kingdom there is no way their hands are clean. We will need to drive them from the shores of the Yamato."

"I'm not going to slaughter civilians." Kaydon says, frowning a little bit. He's sure that's not what Miho means, but he figures he'll at least put it out there, "We'll win this war without stooping to their level, somehow. It may come down to Scale and Olympus to outpace them on technology.."

Miho says "Exactly we need to keep out focus on the rulers who were involved in this." She will get another box and push it into place. "They have some serious magitech over there in some places. We'll have to see right?"

"As for the tactics the great Kahn would have done? Plague ridden corpses in catapuls things like that that wouldn't set off the guardians. Not something I wish to do."

"Nah, there's no way we're doing stuff like that." Kaydon says, "Mostly because there's no corpses to catapult. Everything turns into pixels, remember?" He does have a grin on his face that shows he's joking, "What's in these crates anyway?"

Miho shrugs "Supplies for restocking the HQ so far as I know. The merchants are already going at it, hell I think half our back liners were carrying these things in their inventories..." She smirks. "So I hear you been busy as a weapon forger."

"Well I did make something quite special. Thanks to what you helped me find in that old forge." He puts the crate down, gently enough, "Had some other ideas related to it too, but we've been kinda busy with this." He sits down on the crate for a second, "I need to get my own forge up and running. I know we have Giganpor's place but I've been using the starter forges in the root towns."

Miho says "Oh you did? What did you make I want to see it and you know your welcome at my forge when you in town right? Do you want access to it when I'm out and not working there?"

Kaydon reaches up to his back and draws his Jaeger gunblade, setting it down on top of the crates and then stepping back so Miho can get a good look at it.

Miho stares for a moment she stares right at it. "Please tell me that weapons uses some sort of elemental charges!" Miho is very giddy freom the looks of her and her tail? It's wagging excitedly. "You actally made one of these and it works?!"

"Exactly." Kaydon says, as he pulls one of them out of his pouch. It's one of Pela's spell batteries, modified to fit into the chambers on the revolver cylinder, "Pretty much functions exactly like you think. Lets me hit with a sword and wave arte at the same time, which is useful since I can't do magic."

He picks it back up, and pops open the cylinder so she can take a look at it, "It works perfectly. Put it to good use against those Palace Lands bastards yesterday. Killed one of their big guys, too. Hetiger." Okay well maybe Kaydon didn't do it specifically, but he would have been able to even if that weird cait sith hadn't shown up yet.

Miho grins at Kaydon "I might need you to show me how to do it as I have some ideas for a project I'm working on. With those boxes away shall we go get a drink?! It's on me consider it a present for creating such a thing!" She'll pull Kaydon, yes pull and drag him to the nearst source of booze...if needed.
