Super Powered Statue Stance - Engage!

Soujiro Seta is not too far from the statue, a font of limitless passion and energy that just got an instant boost thanks to the Blind One's mention. "This is amazing!" he says with childish glee as he tries an iai strike against a field monster not far from the Statue itself. Instantly destroyed. "Did the goddess bless Kogarasumaru?" he asks his shining white blade. Sure, Souji was helping crafting too when he wasn't fighting, but most of the time he was fighting off the forces. Most of his 'craft help' was keeping Miho stocked with raw and processed materials, so its a good time to catch up.

Miho had just about hit strange mood levels of foring and she's looking worn out the whole affair with the statrue was amazing and she looks toi it musing not really aware of Soujiro for a moment. She snaps out of her thoughts.

"Oh hey and I think the goddess blessed the statue haven't you heard what's on the chimlinks? We made a no crown zone... and i was just thinking about my master..."

Soujiro Seta swings his katana and gives a Legend-of-Zelda style slash-light into the distance. "I have heard!" the samurai says to the smith, "Oooh." One thing Souji is really good at? Listening. Making space to listen. Miho has the blue eyed samurai's full attention when she mentions the master. "If you want to talk about your master, I'd like to hear about it," he smiles. Easy, breezy, Souji Smiles with a nice gust against that pony-tail hair and kimono.
Hislso a tree falls in the distance after getting struck from the slash-light earlier. Crash!

Miho will find a way to sit down and gets her tail situated and she'll then go to hell with it and looks like she' readying to lay down and look up. "So I can't recall but I was a black smith even before we were here. Also ... I don't think I could walk without a tail now, they are pretty fun toys too." She grins at this.

Soujiro Seta has no tail! Though he is as curious as ever to how people sit with things they didn't have before Elder Tales. The way Soujiro sits is as regal as it could ever be, ever the Samurai. "Like you can play table tennis with them," the young man innocently quirks on the tail toy statement.

Miho smirks at this. "I do admit I use it to pick up something it helps when i'm working also it's great to hit people in the shin with or the butt." She grins even wider at this. "Took me a while to get used to it but I can't think about life without it now to be honest. So my master the man who trained me to be a smith was my grandfather."

"Grandfather in Japan," Souji asks, being a lot looser about what reality is what. Elder Tales is a game. It is a game he loves with people he loves in it. But. In his derpy brain, it is still just a game. Japan is where they are going back to when smarter people figure out how to go back. "Not a grandfather NPC here, right?"

Miho says "I mean my Gandfather yes." She gives him a look she does not see this as a game anymore, but a sperate world they are now living in. Still it comes out much the same.

"Old man world war II vet, yes." She makes a face at Soujiro.

Soujiro Seta nods a single sharp 'got it' nod. "Tell me more about this Grandfather smith who trained you to be the best weapon forger in the server." Look, there is a statue to prove it now. Weapon Forging and Combat rules. Yamato crafted. Goddess Approved.

Miho says "Well our family made mostly kitchen knives and the like. Sure we could do some o the other things but was mostly just to keep the information alive. Oh he'd be envious of this. Had to harass him to teach me as I was helping to take care of him and grandmother. I think this would blow his mind along with my uncle and cousin. All of us worked the forge."

"It sounds like keeping on his legacy fills you with pride," Soujiro observes with a smile on his face, "and that is great to hear. Something important to you gets to travel with you while we are in Elder Tales!"

Miho says "Family's been at it since the warring states era." She grins even wider. "I'm thinking about taking a promising local or two as students too." She thinks for a moment. "Honestly I don't think I want to leave and I'm not sure we can anymore...we could be backups, or this is a real world who knows right? I need to focus I'm me."
