A Little Catching Up

The more things change the more they stay the same. That is to say, some manner of temptation involving food is still the best way to get Shiruba to come from whatever corner of Elder Tale she had gone off exploring. Especially when it was the promise of good food from Adventurers with actual cooking skills! Even if the Pelapuff was more about snacks than full meals. If that is where Gwen wanted to meet Shiruba was definitely not going to complain! Besides, it meant it would be easier to get down the marina and get ready for heading back to the Palace Lands afterwards.

Gwen has had to catch uyp with her sister and since she was in town? She would contact her to meet up at Pela's on her. Wait she's paying for food? Oh no what could she be plotting now. Shiruba would find Gwen in a new outfit sitting there waiting for her in a tabbard and stocking with boots also a big bow on the back. "Hey sis over here."

Shiruba walks over, giving Gwen a glance over as she does. Then shakes her head a little. "Not the most unorthadox outfit I've seen you in," she remarks as she slides into a seat herself, tail curling around her ankles to not be a tripping hazard to staff. "That bow might be a bit much though."

Gwen grins for a moment "You could say I'm a Magic Knight! I'm certainly built like i'm from a Nippon Itchi game." She gfrin ans says "Order what you want it's all on me as I saw. Maybe but I like it."

Shiruba laughs. "Fair enough. At least you're still finding new ideas to create." Gwen better be careful or she's not going to be leaving with any money left in her purse if Shiruba goes on a desert binge. "Anything else you've been up to lately?"

Gwen says "Fashion, hunting for materials, trying to calm down after all that's been going on as we're going to have to hit the Place Lands hard or this will never end."

"Yeah, I know." Shiruba replies in between getting in orders, and tea. "We did put a small nick in their naval forces by breaking free one of their ship captains though. They didn't expect a small tactical strike."

Gwen says "Ha wish I could have been there must has been pretty darn good time and a heck of a stunt. So leadership keeps you busy. There's a reason iu never gone for it lets be honest out side the average dungeon party I'd not be fit to lead."

Shiruba leans forward a bit to rest a hand on her adoptive sister's arm. "Yeah. But you're still one of the best at what you DO do, which is get in the front and in their faces so people like me have the time to get everything else organized, so don't even start to think you're not effective." A pause. A small cough. "Besides, I didn't -ask- to be a leader, it kinda got put on me so I try to do the best that I can."

Gwen smiles "Thats what I do be a brick wall, and honestly those are the best kind. Those who do not want it who do not seek it." She grins again "So keeping everyone out of trouble I hope?"

"... It's more like directing those energies in more productive ways," Shiruba replies with a smirk. "I figured out trying to just stop people from doing crazy things doesn't really accomplish much."

Gwen laughs. "Oh it never will doubly so when we're all able to get back up even at a price. So lets enjoy our snack and then maybe go have some funa round town?"

'Snack', sure. Nevermind that Shiruba almost ordered one of everything with her appetite. Gwen probably left cursing offering to buy for such a voracious foodie.
