Street Running

Miho does get out of her forge other than to hunt for materials. She really does and today she's just out having some fun in town. What could ever go wrong?

Dun Loireag - The Peaks

Miho is normally well behaved but today she's had so much energy? She's gone out for a run, not just a normal run. She's been roof running to not get in the way of Landers going about their business but even she might not be so surfooted...
Yeowang
Dun Loireag - The Peaks

Yeowang is hanging around Dun Loireag, on her way to Miho's smithy, but the proprietor is not around. She heads outside, and spots someone in the distance roofrunning, a common pasttime in Japan, if you watch any amount of anime. She doesn't, and she doesn't roofrun, either, so she will wait down at ground level for Miho to return. She'll be back eventually.

Miho catches sight of someone near her forge and will shift her direction. Having tail has given her a far better sense of balance than she used to have on Earth. Honestly every day that life other than smithing becomes more and more of a fading memory to her. What matter now is there's someone out front and she'll come in for a three point landing infront of Yeowang.

"Hey!"

She rises up dusting herself off a bit. "So what brings you here? Wait you got an order to pick up, right?"

Yeowang smirks as Miho makes a perfect landing just in front of her, and she plays it cool, though it was a pretty acrobatic feat. She fights unarmed and unarmored, so she shakes her head about an order. "No, not that," she says. "Rather, I had a business offer for you. I am attempting," she explains, "To put together something like a department store, where the refugees and such new players as decide to join the big leagues," the playerbase, she means, "Can get all the gear they need. Camping gear, crafting gear, clothes, cooking supplies, and all that, but also armor and weapons. And refugees who are tired of being pushed around will want armor and weapons, too, of course. I would only sell /good/ gear, so I wanted to ask you if you wanted to be a supplier of gear to my store, when I can out it together."

Miho pauses at this offer and now perks up at it with a big grin on her face. "You have my attention." She does nothing to control her tail as it sways back and forth. "Yes, I'd be happy to work out a deal for that!"

Yeowang nods sagely. "Nothing /too/ highend, this will mainly be for poeple starting out at low level, for whatever reason. But that should keep the costs down, and not take any of your high-end business away." She's clearly given this some thought. "We'll probably start with just a few pieces, I don't anticipate a surge in demand, but when the Waves come, or other large scale catastrophes, lots of people will need things."

Miho says "Some things in bulk might take time to get the inital stock unless there are things you want to commission to be Menu made." She noted and thought for a moment longer but hey whatever the customer wants, right? "Just let me know what you want to start with for the first batch."
Yeowang

Yeowang considers, and wonders, "I've heard menu-made items are not as good as hand-made items, but I don't know specifically how they compare." She's always had the cash to afford the high-quality gear, herself. "Can you tell me a bit about both cases?"
Miho
Dun Loireag - The Peaks

Miho says "Depends on what it is honestly and what you need it for if it's something meat to be cheap and dispsable it works. Hand crafted is almost always better however just to let you know from my experiance. The menu stuff never feels quite right and there could be other thing we don't know about it either. Given how few people do it anymore so far as I know. Let's stick with hand made then?"
Yeowang

Yeowang nods slowly about hand-made. "If we have to sell items, they'll necessarily be a bit more expensive, but being hand-crafted may make up for that, if that's the case," she considers. "So, we'll go with all hand-made, and if they don't move, we can consider some menu-items."
Miho

Miho says "So long as any menu items are clearly labled as such." She notes for a moment "Though it will come to that. Just give me a list of what you need for the first batch of items? It sounds like the restocking rate shouldn't be too bad."

Yeowang considers, then says, "I think in our current situation, ploughshares might be better than swords, with the way Wake is expanding in Eas, but she'll need guards, too, and guards will need at least basic swords. If you can make ploughshares, I'll buy them, too, of course, and as I say, there's enough resettlement and expansion that I think we will go through initial buys for the very basics quickly enough."

Miho says "Right some basic guard kit, I'll talk to the Baroness about that... Plougshares? Darn right I can, the old man cracked the whip over me learning a lot of this. Grandpa was I think getting even with me for harassing him into submission to teach me."

Yeowang nods gravely. "I think that will work out very well, then. Thank you for volunteering to help. There's no /immediate/ rush," she emphasizes. "I'm just trying to get things lined up for when things get moving."
Miho

Miho Says "Then I should get to work then shouldn't I?" She smirks a little bit for a moment. "Well I should get back to work then I'll see you around later all right?"
Yeowang

Yeowang ers, "I just said you /don't/ need to start right away. In a few weeks time, maybe." But she bows, and says, "But I'll see you later. Thank you for agreeing to help."
