Dressing to the 9's (Or maybe 6's and 7's)

Dosbox finds himself wandering into the shop (Or is it Shoppe? It's hard to tell with artisinal locales) feeling like a fish out of water. This was definitely the time and place he was supposed to arrive, and yet he found himself out of place with the countless pieces of fabric.

In order to seem less like a vagrant fresh off the streets, DosBox pretended to look at one of the items on display. As luck would have it, this one was a lacy number that was definitely not made for one of his body type. DosBox turned beet red and let go of the item, letting it fall back to rest on the hangar slowly as he gingerly took a step back.

Gwen is behind the counter clad in what could be called armor. Well it is an old Fragment Heavyblade armor. Which seem to belong best on cover of a Western Metal Album or the famous HEAVY METAL western comic mag. Either way Gwen is leaning on the counter when Dosbox arrive and she looks him over for a moment with a grin.

"I do have just as much for men as I do women. Welcome to the Chainmail Bikini +1 How can I help you today?"

Dosbox clears his throat, smiling nervously with a wave, "Ah, Gwen! Yes, ah, I am, ah, we've met before several times. I think it was today that you said was my appointment, right? Or... I dunno. Maybe I have the time wrong?"

He waddles his way over to the counter with a little bit of hussle: the usual amount that one who is so short moves in order to make up for their lack of height. "I think I was supposed to be here for a makeover. I am not sure what that entails, though, truth be told..."

Gwen is like a shark sensing blood in the water. She msile at this. "What sort of makeover? For battle? For working a shop? If so what kind of shop? Or something else entirely i am at your dispal." Thank god Morri isn't around or at lest does not seem to be around for the moment.

Dosbox makes a face akin to having just bit into a lemon, "Well, I have to admit, I haven't really, ah, kept abreast on the fashion world. I do a lot of adventuring, but I am looking into increasing my hours in the shop... Ah... I suppose those two, to be honest. I usually only have one outfit at a time, so I guess a dual-purpose adventuring and shopwork?"

Gwen pauses and peers. "You know you can keep several outfits easily in your inventory right? You can just menu equip them so something for working a shop and something for advenuring then?" She's got a sketch book out and is joting down ideas....

Dosbox smiles, showing all of his teeth, "I.. can't say that I don't know that NOW. I mean, I haven't ever really felt the need to have multiple outfits since I can just hit the clean button and everything is done... But you are the expert, so I suppose you would know better."

The Rock Gnome fidgets a little, "I suppose, then, one for adventuring, and one for the workshop. I am a Jewelcrafter. I specialize in gem work, but I am also a practiced gold and silversmith. And I am a support caster when it comes to adventuring. I mostly hang in the back, and... I am... not the strongest. So something light weight would be best."

Gwen will think for a moment and will come back with the first idea it looks like she took a basic barista outfit and changed the apron to be one for a crafter. With pockets, and pouches here and there for storting fiddly gem crafting gear and the like. She's also added a multi lensed magnifer monoacle as well. "I i think this will work nicely." She'll keep the colours muted earthy tones given the sort of work people think of with that sort of crafting. She also adds a pair of glove and goggle for work with molten metals as optional items.

"What class are you? Also whatcha think of the first one?"

Dosbox appraises the outfit briefly before giving a nod. "That... Looks good. Plenty of space for storing tools and ahh-coo-trey-maw." DosBox is trying very hard to seem cultured, and it shows in his attempt to use a word that he heard in passing, but he knows not what the word actually means. "Ah, and... I am an Enchanter/Sorcerer. My title is... Archmage. Heh. Sounds really grand and all, doesn't it? I don't think it suits me, but... That's what it is."

Gwen thinks for a moment at this. "I'll be a moment, also would you like something to eat? I have a few thing for sale and it's pretty fair in price. Dumplings and fries." She then start sketching it's a patical mage outfit, pants a good jacket, a pointy hat, there's lots of pockets and even a bandoleer for potions so one doesn't have to fiddle with the menu in combat for them. "Whatcha think?"

Dosbox gives his rather sizable belly a pat, "I, ah, just ate. At the Goddess of Fertility next door." He spends less time analyzing the second picture. He almost immediately gets excited, pointing at the top of the page, "Right there! That's the type of hat a caster SHOULD have! It's right on the money!"

Gwen says "These are going to be hand made so it might take few days for me to do all the work on them. Now we just need to talk about price and once we come to an agreement I'll need to friend you so I can contact you when I'm finished with your order!"

Dosbox does his best not to seem excited as he adds ANOTHER person to his friends list. Still, he goes through the motions and sends the friend request. "Right. It's probably important that we discover a price. So that I can, at the very least, pay on pick up if I don't have that much on hand. Heh... " Everything here looks expensive to DosBox, and he is almost sure he'll have to do some dungeon grinding to overpower the bill...

Gwen is in a good mood at the very lest she liten nd will haggle out a price with Dosbox it's not too bad for the quality. Yet it as he feared he's going to have to go grind him some dungeons or Hunters Guild requests. Still the quality of the gear should be worth it in the end.

"Well if that's settled I need to go get changed and get to work! I'll contract you when i'm done!"

Dosbox puts his 'Boriwyk Rockborer' on the dotted line and gives a nod. "Thanks. I don't know why I thought this would be so difficult. This was a breeze." DosBox can't recall why he thought it was going to be difficult at all. Nope. "I, heh, promise not to log off or anything." Wow. That was a real stupid joke. Just wow. "I'll, ah, see you later, then. Buh-bai." He leaves with haste. Wow. Just... Wow.
