Meet the Landers: Sword Maiden

    It had been many moons since Rizadoman had walked the halls of the temple of law, even longer since he was tasked to slay goblins to quell the rise of the Goblin Queen. The large lizardman walks the halls through the foyer where he once stood to make a humble request before. To learn how to stand for the law of alba , and this world. Now he has returned, hoping the blood of goblins on his blades has helped to prove his worth.

As Rizadoman's lizard footsteps ring through the halls of the Temple of Law, he has been given access without halt. The people of the Church normally halt people at the entrance. But today is not one such day. It almost feels like he's been expected to arrive upon this very day.

Stepping through the foyer, he would soon come across the Sword Maiden herself. Hands at her tummy, her head slightly down. That telltale blindfold across her eyes as she waits for him to come closer with a serene smile on her face.

It is only when he is within a few arms' length, that she speaks; "I feel like I can sleep better already, good sir Rizadoman."

Erufu has been busy as well and she had been involved with dealint with the Queen as well. There were far too many goblins in the world after all. She was all cleaned up and she would be trotting in after Riza and she would bow to the Sword Maiden she does not speak yet, she knows its not her place to speak just yet. Where the heck was Orcbalg!? Oh well she can scold him later if needed.

    Rizadoman looks towards the Elf that had accompany him on this visit as she accompanies him to the chamber of the Sword Maiden. His eyes fall on the Sword maiden and once Rizadoman is within few arms length he takes a knee before her doing his best to show the reverence and respect he feels she deserves. "Given all that has happened since you gave me this quest, I can only hope that your sleep continues to improve in the days to come." Slowly the lizardman stands up as he looks over to his compatriot, "I hope it is ok , I brought one of my companions that has helped to lower the goblin population, she is also an acquaintence of Orcbalg." He gestures to Elf, but allows her to make her own introductions.

The woman, blind as far as all can tell, moves her head in the direction of Erufu. It's not a perfect tilt. Not the kind that suggests that maybe she's got eyes and this blindfold is just for show. Her ears seem to pick up Erufu's presence though, no matter how quiet those elfin steps may try to take her across the floor. That, and her bowing seems to make her clothing make noise.

"Please, rise, sir Rizadoman." She motions her hand, as she reaches underneath her cloak. Pulling out what looks to be a talon of sorts hanging from a chain, with a symbol marked into it. "Much as I am but an agent of the Beautiful Goddess's, you too will now be one of her hands upon this world." Moving it over his head...

It gets tangled on his snout.

Rizadoman is a bit bigger than most of the people, so the Sword Maiden does have to adjust and shift a bit, revealing that maybe her blindfold is making this a bit harder to do than intended. But she manages! With grace.

Erufu will look to the Sword Maiden for a moment and she watches at what's happened here. She will look to look her over for a moment.

"We will not cease in our hunt." There is location on one of the moons she dearly wishes to get to, so it can be purged. That will have to wait however as she watches this big moment for her friend with a smile on her face.

    Rizadoman lowers his head to best hecan, and well Rizadoman does not make it easy. He has horns and a large snout and he gets good and tangled in the chain but still it is an honor to receive such a gift from the Sword Maiden. He would never dare to insult her by raising a hand to help either, eventually the talon dangles around his neck and he steps back. "This is a high honor, and I promise to act as an agent of the goddess and protect this world fom those who would dare to harm it or the law of the realm. " Turning Rizadoman nods his head at Erufu, " Yes the hunt is not yet over either. "

"Do not become singular in your hunt, sir Rizadoman. And use this symbol not as one of oppression, but as a shield for the people." The Sword Maiden bids to Rizadoman. Words of becoming singular perhaps hinting at a concern she has about the one they so oft travel with.

As Rizadoman rises, her head remains downturned. Serene and softspoken in this place. "Do not hunt for those who break the law, lest their influence threatens to shatter. The ones known as Tri-Edge already hold that task in their hearts. Be even-handed and kind. And let your blade fall only on those who bear guilt equal to your punishment." She bids to the both of them, turning for a moment to Erufu in this as well.

Erufu looks to her frien and nods she heeds what the Sword Maiden has to say to them.

"Tri-Edge..." She muses for a momena dn she does seem to want to heed the warning she's been given. "Do not destroy our own lives chasing our goals and carrying our our duty. I understand."

Sigh Orcbalg really did need help but the party had made some small gains.

    Rizadoman listens to the words of the Sword Maiden as his hand goes up to teach the talon. In a way it reminds him of home, a medicine woman use to wear something similar. "A shield to the people and one who leads by example in upholding the law. " At the mention of the sword and guilty though people flash through his mind, a certain monarch of Thor Kingdom seems to linger the longest which causes Rizadoman to take a deep breath and takes a moment to refocus his mind on the situation at hand. " I will do my best to let your words guide me."

Erufu listens to the swords Maiden's word she nods once and give her a bow.

"I shall do my best as well. I should go see about my current target. I heard tell of a Goblin Champion that not even Orcbalg knew of...I need to see if I can find out more." With that she'll smile and turn to head out.
