Elf Goblin Hunter

Where had Elf been? She was last scene with Riza going to see the Sword Maiden. She then vanished after a talk to one of the temple knights and a quick trip to the libary. There had been rumours about her here and there but no one's really seen her. Even some of her lander friends notably Cowgirl and Guild Girl had put out a job to find her, to make sure she was okay.

She had been spotted on the edge of Shibuya recently perhaps she was here...?

Schneider has been, for his own part, wandering the world and giving people cursory medical checkups, sometimes with dire warnings, sometimes telling them they're fine. He looks gaunt rather than bishounenly lean, and he's got hungry and stinky debuffs of his own. But sometimes Landers like to be reassured about their health, and he does seem to have some small measure of healing magic. Spotting Erufu, he will come over and peer critically at her. "How're you feeling?" he inquires out of the blue.

There's been a lot of strange moods going around lately. Some people have managed to endure through them... and got caught up on sleep on the sailing trip back over from the Palace Lands. So when she trots into Shibuya with her peko towing a wagon of goods she's in a much better, more sensible state of mind. "Aaaah, always good to come back home." Though likely she won't get to stay very long, she tends to be on the move regardless of what mood she's in.

Erufu stops for a moment, she looks for a moment and she's not looking so good. Her hair is a mess, she's dirtym, and she's looking a bit wildeyed. If inspected, oh yeah she's in the middle of a mood of some sort.

"I need to resupply, I have almost...found it...."

Schneider nods gravely to Erufu. "Missing sleep and hungry are the big debuffs," he reads off from his appraisal. "What have you almost found?" he wonders, but then Shiruba arrives, and he turns on his heel, and drops an inspect on her as well. "Hrm. What have we here?" he says to himself.

"Some of the stuff from hunting in the Palace Lands. At least the stuff the rebellion didn't want to keep for supplies" Shiruba replies as she reachs into the peko-drawn cart and pulls out a curved sharp tipped item. "I can't remember if this is the horn off the wolf-goat, or the tusk off the elephaboar..." Then her attention also turns to Erufu. "Did I miss something while I was on safari?"

    Merek is making his way along, wearing his longcoat. Eventually, he comes upon the place where people are at, taking his time to look to Erufu, and then to Shiruba and Schneider. He offers a little wave, "What happened here?" he asks.

Erufu says "A ... goblin champion, a very old...very cunning one..." She rasps for a moment then takes a moment and tilts her head. "I it exists not even the Slayer thinks this one is real but it's out there..." Is she right on that? It's hard to tell really if that's the truth or not the elf isn't very with it right now.

"A goblin champion longer lived than most of it's kind ever does...and it's out there..."

Schneider hrms as he inspects Shiruba's trophies. He confirms the names in a confident tone as he is quite good at the Appraisal thing, it seems, and he greets Merek, inspecting and explaining, "It is a day of resupply," he explains, referencing Erufu's comment, and guessing perhaps Shiruba has arrived just at Erufu's moment of need. Presuming she's running low on Palace lands hunting trophies. He runs out all the time, so it is not a blind guess. Or wait, does he even have any? He now looks confused to Erufu. "You need wolf-goat horns?" he asks. "I haven't got any, myself, or I'd offer."

At the mention of a goblin champion, he says, "And you need his blue ribbon?" Because champions get blue ribbons. "But I can help you kill goblin champions," he offers. "I'd like to Appriaise him first, but then I've got a couple spells that may help. He won't live long, if we can corner him."

Shiruba waves. "Merek! Good to see you!" Shakes her head at Shneider. "Oh, no, I've got some here. I just don't remember which is what without finding the other to compare it too. It's the odd nature of their Beasts all being two or more mixed together." Then she turns back to Erufu. "An old Goblin Champion that hasn't been found by Goblin Slayer yet? Wow. He must be really good at hiding."

.. And now she knows how other people felt about her and Yeenagi. Oof. Awkward.

Erufu says, "Hunting in the Palace Lands....?" She says curious for a moment. "Did you find any goblins. Oh I will need help once this goblin is cornered...he has a name. Gass Skull."

It has a /name/ The goblin had a name it has a name.

"I should get back to hunting it right away wait why would it have a ribbon?! Is that a drop?"

Schneider huhs to Shiruba. "Which what is what?" he wonders. "I can maybe help you sort it out?" He already gave the correct names for the two trophies, that was a pretty basic appraising task. He hrms at the name Gass Skull. "Does that mean he's an airhead?" he asks. As to the ribbon, he explains, "Champions get ribbons, right?" Strange Mood Logic.

Shiruba shakes head. "Haven't seen any Goblins... but I was focused on Beasts and beast-like Monsters, so that might not mean so much."

Erufu says "Maybe the ribbon is some kind of teasure it has..." Well she's strange mood logicing to. She'll take a look to Merek for a moemnt wonderi9ng how he's doing for a second but then goes back to thinking about the goblin she's hunting.

"I got to find it I shouldn't be wasting time here....I don't know its just the name found checking texts at the temple..."

Schneider shakes his head about goblins also. "Haven't seen any, either, but I've done very little adventuring lately," he admits. He nods ab out the blue ribbon being a treasure or something, and says, "I'd like to take a look at it if we can find it. It should be interesting."

By this point the loremaster has taken over and Shiruba has started rummaging in her stuff for some writing parchment. "You're going to have to tell me more about this so-called champion, it should make for interesting documentation."

Schneider has, for now, appraised everyone here, so heedless, he heads off into the jungle to the north of the outpost. He will probably be OK.
