"It's this way." As one of the members of Camp White leans down, they push aside a series of bushes.

For the past few hours, the team has been traveling in order to get from Camp White to the area near the bridge that links to the Thor Kingdom proper. This isn't the first time they've gone in this direction, and have seen the sparse few houses in the trees of this region.

What /is/ the first time, is the sound of metal in this area. The Camp White members had been alerted to a battle that has been going on for a little while now in this area.

As the bush is moved to the side, there's a most unusual sight. To some, partial recognition as a half-humanoid looking thing, half-spider thing jumps back and lets out a horrendous monstrous screetch, creating a large webbing and using it to reel itself up onto a tree.

It is followed by what looks like a series of... metalic machines?

They look utterly out of place. Bulky, square machines, almost like thanks on threads, but the threads are at the ends of four 'legs'. They are moving beneath the canopoy. One of them suddenly opening fire on the branches with a massive spray of icicles!

A few of those here might recognize these as looking very similar to some of the Terraformers! But maybe by... a different maker? Or perhaps a different generation!?

There's also multiple destroyed ones on the ground, some of them sloooowly fading into light, almost as if something were trying to halt their eventual destruction. But the Spider in question is clearly being assaulted by these things. Hunted perhaps even!

    Merek looks from the bushes towards the machines coming after the spider. He does remember their last meeting not going all that well, but he's not going to let her get killed. He takes the time to sheath his sword in flame, while he takes off from the foliage to launch an attack into one of the machines, the blade meeting the metal. He doesn't take the time to consult anyone, assuming that they are going to use the advantage that they have to take the fight to them.

Mikage had sharpened her skills by moving through the woodlands of the Palace Lands, but as they come closer to the bridge, it almost feels like returning to familiar territory. Her eyes sweep past one of the houses, lingering on it for a moment before focusing her attention on the task at hand.

The sound of metal steels her attention, quite literally. "Shit. What the hell are those things doing here?!" The last time Mikage had dealt with the terraformers, it had been on the island far to the South of Yamato. They usually were drawn, it seems, to beings of power.

Turning her eyes to the familiar spider creature, her earrings jingle slightly before her eyes seem to tinge with white. "{You and I are friends, do you remember? We are here to help.}" The contact via that strange power is brief, but just enough to let the creature know that they were not enemies.

"Don't harm the spider. We need to destroy these machines!" Miki calls out, then reaches for one of her arrows, charging elemental energy into it. It flies towards some of the machines, impacting with a roll of thunder and a crash of tidal waves.

Llyn had chosen to take the harest path with the Palace Landers. The one that didn't involve her making Genish Khan approve of what she did to them. She's going to give this a shot if only for the sake of the people who risked being crowned to save he.

"I fear all I know of this is there were rumors of a so xalled Spider Goddess to the east causing issues. Its a monster but that's all I know..."

Well she's a healer sure but she is a very skilled combat caster as well as she opens with a large number of magical water attacks.

"JET SPRAY!"

    The necromancer of Scale Emblem had last been to these lands hunting a wolf spider on the suggestion of King Gilgamesh. So it is quite ironic that Setsuna once again appears to have stumbled upon a spider hybrid once again, and of all of them this one was such a pain in the neck. At the same time though she was a friend and obviously in need of help. To those that accompanied them he shouts to the group. "DON'T ATTACK HER! SHE'S A FRIEND"

     Setsuna could only imagine what would happen if something happened to this eight legged lady. "SAVE HER IN FACT!" Only good things can come from getting her in our debt is the thought of Setsunas as he gives her a smile before he forms a ball of shadows that burst into flames. Moments later he launches it at one of the machine like things.

It does not matter if you are a spider or an Adventurer or a Lander or a stray cat. When someone is being hunted, Soujiro's legs move first and his mind moves later. If at all. The Scale Samurai is fast, hands out as he dashes into the thick of the fight without a second thought to the danger it puts him in. A foot plants on a fallen tree, leaping the blue haired sword saint up and forward through the thick of it until he lands with a skidding stop between the spider and the machina.

Souji doesn't try to look cool. He does it naturally. Sparkle.

Those clear combat eyes turn towards the enemy as he lowers his stance, hand on one of his sheathed katanas as if daring them to try to attack. Souji protecc.

Schneider has snuck through the woods with his companions, but it seems like we are discovered close to our destination. Or no, we have stumbled upon some strange situation? He's not clear on what's going on. He's fought Terraformers, though, knows they're bad news. He's not sure we need to intervene, at first, and would keep on creeping by, but Mikage saying we need to destroy the machines seems quite sure of this, and the battle is joined by Merek stabbing something one with a sword of fire, so it looks like we're committed. Setsuna's admonition to save the spider is advice from a Scale player, too, so it looks like this is the way things will go. Hopefully someone will explain why afterward?

"From the Silver Mountain to the Gates of Babylon!" he chants, drawing a thing like a bow made of magical light, "Feel Rainbow's Mystic Arrow!" He looses the arrow and it slams into a barrier, which is much worse for wear.

The Spider is quick on its feet. Even with its enormous body, it has clearly created an enormous 'highway' of spider silk all throughout this area of the forest it is using in order to get around.

When it spots the Adventurers coming through, it is quick to jump their way, bringing her scythe to bear, and is about to cut at Soujiro Seta when Mikage calls out!

Followed by a very animated scrambling of all of her limbs, reeling in the scythe, and 'swooping' right over Soujiro. Some of her limbs almost giving him a buzz-cut as she swings along the trees like some kind of spider-woman. When landing on a nearby branch, she quickly start motioning her arms at Mikage.

Nobody else can understand what it's saying at this time, but there's a lot of animation and motion of /all/ of its limbs.

The assault begins. Mikage's arrow of tidal and thunderous power rushes forward, only for the machine to quickly turn and create what looks like a hexegonal pattern in front of it. For a moment, there's markings of green starting to line it, but before it can properly generate the barrier, Schneider's mythic arrow to reach it, aiding Mikage in overwhelming the newly generated barrier and blowing the machine up.

The spider motions one of its spindly legs holding what looks like, a webbed flag? Cheering on the Adventurers?

Either way, the destruction of the Barrier producing machine allows Merek to get through towards one of the icicle generators, and stabs his blade into one of the outputs - halting it from continueing its assault quite so easily. It keeps wheeling though, trying to get away from Merek and the team and resume its assault on the Spider. Llyn's Jet Spray however creates a slick region right behind it, causing the machine, tracks and all, to spin out and left right in the wake of Setsuna's balls of shadow, erupting one of the machines!

The Spider, now with Soujiro in front of her, looks in confusion at him, chittering something while pointing 'down' at him as if to say 'what is this here?'

Followed by two more of those barrier machines to suddenly come from the midst of the forest, scooting in front of some of the ice generators. Their barriers come up, showing a sickening 'green' light. Those with a sense for 'Law' might get that tell-tale headache of a Law of Alba being broken in that moment.

What's worse, the moment the barriers go up, a /larger/ tracked machine comes through the forest. It wheels forward, halts, then begins to turn. Its upper body first, as its back legs shift and drive 'piles' into the ground.

The large 'speaker' like ice generators at its sides turn 180 degrees, allowing them to suddenly open from the front. Followed by their chests opening, showing multiple 'crystals' within...

And it opens fire, through the barrier! Fierce shards of ice TEAR through the forest. Eradicating wood. Shattering the region with launch after launch of ice that creates plumes of pale white throughout the area. Each spear of ice large enough that it rival the size of a Gnome!

There is some sort of exchange that happens between the Spider and the Ranger, but it seems to be brief. "It seems they might have mistaken our Spider friend for a Divine Beast." She explains, voice raised so it can be heard over the din. There's no time to continue that communcation, however, as the fight seems to progress quickly.

She is just reaching for another arrow when the ice shards are launched in her direction. There is no time to mount a proper defense. So, Mikage is speared through one arm, leaving an ice chunk sticking out of the flesh and a glowing damage area around it. Her bow drops from her fingers as she gives a hiss of pain, dropping to one knee.

What follows is a colorful string of curses that is very common from the Were Fang when things go wrong. Her eyes briefly flicker, as if she might transform to take on these enemies, but... as usual, she restrains that with gritted teeth. Instead, Miki reaches for her sword, drawing out the runic blade and sweeping it through the air one-handed, summoning elemental forces along the arc of the blade. From it, massive air and water blades lash out, sweeping towards the enemy terraformers.

Schneider creates a magical shield that seems to be burning, almost as broad as a wall, and quite stout, with the invocation, "Queensryche!" Apparently the Queen protecs her people, as the barrier weathers the barrage of ice shards that shatter everything closeby. He conuters with a fireball, casting, "Seek and destroy, oh spirit of the sinful inferno! Blood fire! Death into the Void! Impellittari's Fire Ball!"

The display of defensive badassery is mitigated by his barrier preventing him from counterattacking effectively, and his fireball, aimed at the barrier, instead is sucked up by his own barrier, still hungry for power.

Protect it? Whatever works for her allie she's here to give heals and support. She pauses for a moment with a bit of a headache.

"Someone is ... breaking the law of Alba..." She mmutter as she looks at themachine and now come the big damn speaker? Wait what in the Goddesses name is that? This is her first time of doing this sort of large scale fight since she was freed and now she's wondering wads this a good idea. as the attack comes she will chant a spell but it's not enough while she avoids a directr hit the speak catches her side turning into a jagged mess of angry red wireframes.

"...So you want some of this do you!?"

She will move in, yes she'll move on on the machine and let rip with all the light based magic she can muster.

"GRAND CROSS!"

There is no fear from Soujiro even though his back is to a large spider. The sweeping scythe slash that comes out is met with no motion as the breeze sends his long ponytail to one side in gale force winds. Eyes take in the battlefield. A flick to the barrier bot. A flick to the ice bot. A buff called 'Vengeance' shows up on his stat screen as he prepares for the attack

And what an attack it is. The excitement coming from Soujiro in a test of his reflexes can only be matched by his skill as he dodges shard after shard of icy death. His forearm plates deflect off several of the shards that would hit the person behind him, but there are far too many to consider it a successful fortress. The samurai steps foward, dangerously leaning forward into the storm of icy bullets as if he can /see/ them before they are fired. The Vengeance buff shows a x100 and glows a crackling red-yellow color by the time Souji makes his way to the Icy Machina. "Begone!" he bellows as he draws, jolting forward with enough electric speed to make Pikachu proud and clashing in with electric counter measures to the metal menace.

5r    For a moment Setsuna thinks that his failure to dodge the blast of ice has lead the necromancer into the cold grasp of death, before it occurs to Setsuna that even death doesn't have hands that cold. Instead he is simply chilled to the bone. It takes a moment for Setsuna to gather enough warmth to even move as he shouts to the group, " Someone clog that damn cannon up. I am not ready for winter yet!"

     The necroamncer draws his dagger from his inventory and he dashes towards the barrier as the blade is wrapped in dark energy before Setsuna whips his arm out launching the dark energy at the barrier. "How dare you try to give me frosted tips!"

    Merek takes a few of those ice bolts right into him, red shimmers glimmering. Afterward he pulls a bottle of Alchemist's Fire from the belt which he wears, then he throws that along to one of the machines, which it explodes against. He then takes the time to look along to the party, "We probably should get a little bit of defense worked up," he says.

The Runic blade comes out, and Mikage sweeps towards her enemy with a fierce arc. Following a similar arc is a sudden black... wave?

One of the spider's eyes sparks for a moment, only for the red eye to suddenly splatter with red glow and be covered in it. Wincing, as the green strange 'glow' of the barrier suddenly shatters!

It chitters something at the Adventurers, pointing at the Barrier creating machines!

Right as Mikage's strike impacts upon the fierce barrier. Lightning sparks from the area, interacting with the fog of ice on the ground. Icicles forming on the ground each time the lightning jumps and breaks, until finally Mikage's strike breaks through and shatters one of the barrier generating machines! It shatters immediately into light!

Schneider is having his own issues with his assault, but Setsuna makes up for it with launching one of his. As the machine that Mikage struck shatters into light, it suddenly detonates. The force of which flattens a few trees, and shakes the second one's shield. His dark dagger gets right through the barrier, and stabs into the glowing eye of the Terraformer(?), and causes that one to detonate as well!

Behind Soujiro, the spider is moving its scythe and arms to try and tear away the ice, but some of the shards pierce through her. Tearing into arms and ripping into her body. The creature grimacing and letting out a chitter of annoyance, then motions her hand out at Soujiro!

But the youth moves forward!

Flame erupts upon the green shield of the Ice Machine as Merek's alchemist's flame tears upon it! Light violently pillars from Llyn. Both of them creating a perfect target for Soujiro to focus on. All of his stacks of Vengeance stacked...

The blade comes down upon the barrier... TEARING against it... rippling... trembling. The tension in his arms...

<< IMMORTAL OBJECT >>

As a member of the Debauchery Teaparty perhaps words that terrify and strike fear into the heart. The same kind of message seen when trying to beat that monster at the 10th floor, even before they all got trapped. The kind of message that had spelled the end of Kuro...

The machine staring at him with emotionless vision. As it removes the piles from the ground and erects itself above Soujiro, and then continues a rapid-fire ice assault. Though lacking in size, the strikes follow him. Easily spinning to try and follow the youth with one of its ice-generators, while the second spews a massive blanket of ice into the air that begins to blanket the entire area in a way that begins to remove 'movement' from the equasion. Freezing the region so heavily, those who met the Tear of Ice (or heard of her) might feel a similar startle.

At the same time, behind it, a larger machine ponderously moves forward. Instead of two smaller barrier generators, this one has a dome atop of it, which starts to rapidly spin - creating a barrier over it, and slowly 'pushing away' and growing outwards!

Even the brief movement of her sword seems to shoot lances of pain up along Mikage's arm. It isn't quite the same as those shocking, horrible times when the pain inhibitors have been brought down, but it still hurts like hell! Enough so that it has clearly disabled her bow arm and left her depending on alternative fighting techniques.

As there is more ice heading there way, she seems to almost slip into the shadows, avoiding another strike even as she takes a moment to stab her sword into the ground and pull the shard of ice free from her arm. The wound remains, glowing ominously.

Breathing heavily, Mikage seems to tense one hand, almost as if forming it into the shape of a claw. Bits of ice form along the ends of her fingers as if she were forming it into a monstrous talon. Then, she slashes her hand forward, sending three parallel blades of ice across the battlefield. At the very least, she is fighting ice with ice. Too bad for the terraformers that /her/ ice happens to cut a bit deeper than theirs.

    Setsuna is turned into a Setsunasicle, or so it appears, hoever as any person who ever played Perishable Battle would know that when Zero Kelvin looks like they are frozen it is actually simply an ice clone. The real Zero Kelvin, or Setsuna in this case, actually had managed to confuse it with a fake image. This has lead Setsuna nearer to Kumo and hears her chitter. For the moment he stops watching the battle looking at her chitter and responds," Mmm yes, thank you. Chitter chit chitte chitter chitter." As Setsuna passes on his thanks he turns to the group, " She says we have to remove the green barriers first! Take care of it or we won't do any damage." Pantomining a hat tip to Kumo before he runs towards the barrier machines.

     The dark energy around the blade grows in intensity as Setsuna does not launch it this time but instead brings it down towards one of the barrier machines as strong as he can with a roar of emotion.

Soujiro Seta breathes heavily in a way that causes the air to mist around him. Immortal Object. He remembers it. The Tenth Floor. The bug. Kuro. He is not one to let sentimentality blurr into his action. There are smarter people for that like, like Shiroe-senpai. He is a fighter, that is what he is good at. A bottomless reserve and a light against despair. "This time," he puts his hand on Kogarasumaru, drawing it slowly from its saya, "I will protect -everybody-." The line shines forth from the relic in the pulse of a white dawn star, bringing with it a ghastly fighting assistant with ethereal robes and blade-like arms. A kitsune mask over their face. The ice cracks. It shatters.

Or is that the sound of steel meeting steel?

"Ahhhhhh!" yells out the samurai as he puts his all out onto the machine. Strike after strike from two blades. A dance of blurring martial assault that switches with the spirit of Koga's ethereal arms. If he cannot be the shield that weathers the storm, then he shall be the blade that cuts the way open.

Schneider's eyes widen at the blizzard coming to engulf him, and there's absolutely no way he can get out of the way. But it's a blizzard, and there's another way to deal with that! Flames spring up around him, like armor made of pure flames, and like flames, they counter cold, and when Schneider turns up the heat, they can sear flesh, but it's enough to outlast the wave of frozen cold.

His magical defense evaporates into wisps of flame, and he reviews the situation, noting the Immortal Object flag, the barrier that caused so much grief on the tenth floor. He was there, he remembers.

But he also remembers the solution, casting, "Spirits of sorcery, fangs of vengance, pinions of sinew and steely resolve. Once bitten! Great White!" and the spell he casts is strange in is effects, sinking in, cleansing almost, in a sort of burning way, clearing away the detritus of that strange protection using his strange power, his white hair floating eerily, completely ignoring the game physics of the situation.

But seeing Llyn in distress, he will come over and attempt to defend her, his attention drawn so many ways. But he can't leave a lady in distress, that's un-Schneider-like.

Spider she isn't sure about but whatever this machine is it has to go. It's got to go but the attacks are powerful and while she's not weak. She's not been much of a raider even before. It's showing she's not quick enough to evade the net incoming attack and if not for the quick action of a certain Wizard who has just got into her good books. She'd be running or a smear at this point.

"Scenider! I owe you one!"

She calls out as she turns her magic upon the machine with all the power she can muster casuing a rain of jagged ice lances upon it.

"ICE SHOWER!"

    Merek looks at the dance amid all the powers, going back and forth. When it looks like the System Protection is withdrawn by the power of Schneider, he offers the man a little grin from a makeshift visor which he wears, then he swings about, beltcape shifting. The man walks up and holds his hand towards the Ice Machines, while he begins to execute the command in his mind. MEREK_TEIWAZ_BANDIT_KING. Accessing the power which he is given, a circle starts to appear around his wrist, dancing upon his gauntlet, while the strap which he wears dances with green flames. A beam of light will extend from the hand of his, wrapping about them, while he begins to pull the data out, and arranges it so that it will be sealed from the machine access.

The Spider pantamimes a hat-motion back to Setsuna with a confused look on her human face. She then motions at the barrier machine, as if saying, 'please focus' or something along those lines.

Another one of the Spider's eyes splatters suddenly, followed by the green shimmer over the large barrier forming machine to suddenly tear apart. Immediately, Setsuna and Mikage make use of that moment.

Ice versus ice, empowered by the darkness of Setsuna's falling blade. The claws tear through the barrier itself, shattering it - the sound of glass breaking chiming through the area, before that black blade slices through the larger dome shaped machine.

It pauses for a moment... then suddenly detonates and shatters into light!

Soujiro pushes through the ice, through the detonation and meets the larger ice-generator machine. His blade TEARING upon the barrier's left-overs. Thanks to Schneider, the green shade is being torn from it. Fading. That tell-tale message quickly being removed. Window after window closing...

Until it cracks! And with his fierce hew, Soujiro SHATTERS the remainder of the barrier!

Permitting Llyn's Ice Lances from coming down, warping its metal, tearing into it, creating various red glowing marks! Only for its ability to generate ice suddenly being cut off by Merek. The stream of green light flowing from it and entering Merek...

Causing the machine to consider this moment for a moment...

Before it suddenly drives its pylons into the ground again, and suddenly begins spinning rapidly. Glowing from inside, it grows in intensity faster and faster! Only for the Spider to suddenly start spraying her web over it, trying her best to try and reduce the impact of what follows next...

As suddenly, an enormous detonation BLASTS through the forest. Erupting from its position and flooding the entire region with fire and heat. Flowing over them like a dome of flaming light, eradicating grass, destroying trees, shattering webbing...

Until its body is gone, and where it once stood, is now nothing but a crater.

Schneider is tumbled by the explosion, his magic cloak held up, but unable to defend against such a powerful onslaught, and he rolls head over heels, hurled along the terrain, crashing through anything that wasn't blown down, and he's lucky the cape saves him from cracking -all- of his ribs, as he comes rolling to a stop, much lower on HP now as he rises up and looks around, dazed and confused. Has he been run over by Truck-kun and is now in an isekai world?

There was a game that Soujiro once played growing up. It had a time traveling swordsman. Once they stood in front of a large monster that they could not hope to beat. They protected everyone with divine light. Soujiro may not think about these things, but the light of a hero seeps into the fiber of his body and soul. It is radiant and evokes out protection as he stands in front of the blast with his holy blade out. The Hymmnos on it glows against the radiant steel. Bright, white light.

Then there is fire. Chaos. Destruction. Such Devastation. Naught but the crater remaining where Souji stands at the epicenter. Smoldering, but still sparkling.

Llyn sees her lances score some very nice hits! As the rest of the party hammers on it finally the machine goes down. Then it's glowing she pauses.

"Oh no...ITS GOING TO B..."

Too late it expldoes she barely has time to cast frost armor on her self. The good newe is she's going to life the bad news is, she's one launched, the armor only lessend the damage and she's getting some very good air time.

She will be found later face down in a crater akin to Yamcha in Dragonball.

"...cough... we did it..."

The moment that the remaining machine starts to spin, Mikage understands what is about to happen. She clutches at the blue stone which she has carried since before the Apocalypse, throwing up a barrier, but it is too little to do anything about the rush of force that knocks her clean off of her feet and rushes fire and heat across her form.

Already injured, the Were Fang just lays there, taking deep, gasping breaths, damage visible across her body. If there is nothing to fight right now, she's just going to stay right there for the time being. "Fuck." Is all she mutters, her voice sounding raspy.

    Setsuna watches the machine seem to have emotions for a moment before he shouts to the group, "I got a bad feeling about this!" Then the damn ice machine is a sore loser as it explodes trying to take them with it. Such a rude action on it's behalf and Setsuna takes a moment to just watch the impending explosion coming to him before his boots glow and force Setsuna to leap up into the trees and force Setsuna to keep moving higher and higher until the explosion misses him. Then the magical boots drop him on his ass.

     There isa bit of a groan from the necromanacer, as he gets to his feet. "Since when did they have ice machines like that? " Taking a deep breath he looks about at the others, "If you died please raise your hand."

When the dust settles, the Spider has moved over to the remainder of the monster's light flowing up, and seems to be... kicking the spot it was in with two of its hind legs. Almost like it is stomping on the spot it once stood.

It then motions down at it, and chitters in anger at the thing. It kind of... almost jump-cuts from spot to spot around the crater while chittering in annoyance, stomping at it a few times, before it remembers itself and looks at the Adventurers.

A moment, it looks at them...

Then raises one of its hands and just turns around chittering something as it begins to move away...

    Merek doesn't really have time to think about a lot. He's blown back by the blast. When he lands, the man takes the time to get up to standing, then he takes a look around. Noticing the familiar light of someone using Bith's Blessing to expand their power, he nods a little bit. The Hymmnos on the blade will get his eye looking to it, then he checks on people, "Everyone alright?" He doesn't stop the spider, that's for someone else to do. He moves to the place the crater is at, and begins rummaging about for anything he can salvage.

Llyn raises an hand up out of the crater. "Give... me a moment I'll get to healing." She'll be a moment as she's been very floored by this but hey she's alive. That's good as is everyone else...

Soujiro Seta returns from the crater as he puts both of his katanas back into their sayas. A hand reaches in for a health potion, but instead of taking it for himself he offers it to Llyn along with a strong arm to help her up. "Merek beat me to it!" he says with a smile, "Everyone doing ok?" Though that look in his eye is that he could go for some more training after this. His blood is already all ramped up.

    Setsuna looks around and stretches, " I'm alive as much as I ever am how about our spider..." Trailing off as he finds her stomping on the robot before the symbol of the butterfly appears on forehead as the oracle magic activates and he snickers a bit. Taking a deep breath Setsuna decides it is time to put on the charm, " Hey there, thank you for all your help. Hope you are ok. Can you stay and talk a moment? I think we have the same enemy." If they could even get her on their side at full strength, it would make the war go a whole lot easier.

Schneider has a few questions about what the spider was doing to something, and once it departs, after kicking or pointing out one area particularly, he will look oer the area more critically. Haru taught him this spell, but it's quite useful and he will point out the remains of some water crystals. "I have no idea what this is about, but I guess it wants us to have these? Is it thanking us?" He looks to Setsuna, who often knows these things.

Llyn has finally pulled herself out of the crater and will be healing herself. Once that is done she's going to start doling out the heal plzs to everyone who needs one.

The Spider halts as Setsuna speaks after it, kind of in the middle of walking away in the middle of all the ashed trees, and then turns around.

It looks at Setsuna for a moment... then tilts its body to the right and puts one of its claws to its face as if it's thinking - rather than its human hand. Truly, a monstrous sight.

It then chitters something in reply to Setsuna, motioning dramatically.

While Setsuna converses with the Spider and others work on healing themselves, Mikage simply continues to lay there. Oh, she's still alive, but by the tattered nature of her armor and the multiple splotches of red damage, she may not be interested in moving any time soon. Bits of smoke drift upwards. Yep, Cyrus may have to come spatula her defeated butt off the ground at some point. Probably later. Not. Moving.

    Setsuna looks at the spider and motions to the machine for a moment and is forced to shrug as he doesn't know either. Looking at the others he does his best to keep them up to date, "She says she has no idea who is sending these robots after her. Did anyone see anything that could answer that question." Taking a moment he considers the option before he speaks up again towards the spider , <" If we find out where they are coming from, would you help us stop them?"> Its a fair question.

    Merek picks up the Icon of Enigma and the water crystals that they find when Schneider points them out. He places the icon into his gauntlet, locking it into place. After that he nods a little bit, "Alright. Well that looks pretty interesting." He then looks to Setsuna, "Well, if the Enigma Piece is any indication, not anyone that's good."

The Spider motions a few times, at one point seeming to pantomime a robot. In that kind of 'arrigato' 'mister' 'roboto' kind of way, as it chitters back to Setsuna, motioning a few times, then moving her claw along her human looking neck.

    Setsuna nods his head and gives a thumbs up towards his new Spider ally and then holds his hand up to his head as if to pantomine a phone call and then motions a finger back and forth between himself and the Spider, then he speaks up, "I'll call you." Stepping back he looks at the others, "She'd happily help us destroy the source of the machines if we can find it." Setsuna has a grin from ear to ear, like he has just got himself a hot date or something.

Llyn sighs and will make her way over to mikage and start attemptint to peel her off the ground by healing.

"Come on, get up I'm gluing you back together no charge!" The healing will get on and she will help get Mikage up and turn her over to Cyrus if needed.

"Do I have to?" Mikage's voice is a raspy grumble as the healing magic starts to wash over her. The glowing wounds start to close over and most of the lingering burn effect is put out, enough so that the Were Fang grunts as she pushes herself up. "Thank you." There is still some pain evident, but it seems to have helped somewhat. It's quite possible that Miki was hovering on only a couple of remaining HP prior to Llyn's intervention. "I'll survive. Otherwise, Cyrus would probably have to track me down and kill me for getting myself killed." As if that makes sense.

Schneider hrms to Setsuna as he asks a question about the remains of the attackers. He's just finished his stint triaging in Proph's clinic, but it's not as helpful when there's only a few fragments left waiting to despawn. "Nothing helpful that I can tell," he reports. "that's interesting, though. Terraformer Model. And created by the person who worked on the first elemental machines. We've probably destroyed some priceless artifact," he says dryly. "Or maybe he just made them as a warmup, who can say?"
