Ratbusters!

    Thankfully the city was still standing and npcs, or Landers were moving about doing their daily activities. Jogging in was Xander, the salamander with his very basic attire cause being back at level 1!

His hands were resting on his legs for a moment as he was catching his breath, chuckling a little to himself. ".. man it feels good to run again." Before he inhales deeply and looks over the city. "Right... quest system... quest system... someone around here probably needs help."

Nureha didn't even attempt to catch up. She had the look of someone on a country holiday stroll, the only thing missing being a umbrella or some other dignified reason to keep going at a stately pace. She gave Xander an encouraging smile as he caught his breath. "Let's go see if the guild has something. They usually collate information on what needs doing."

She seems to have a better time talking with the Landers than other adventurers, carrying herself with an air of calm that she hadn't had before leaving the city.

She asks for directions, listens politely and then points them in the direction they need to go. "Thankfully, it's not too far." her nose wrinkles slightly as she says "Just a short jog." with a faint note of teasing.

    Xander follows Nureha around and lets her do the talking. Mostly observing the interactions. Yeah, he did quests like this back in the day, but once he got to end game, he rarely interact with any of the npcs.

When she does tease him about the 'jog' he elbow jabs her gently. "Yeah yeah. Lead the way." Which he motions for her to do and following in ease.

    Once they arrive they find a merchant who, seems to be at wits ends. Xander listens, only slightly and once they are given the go ahead to head in, he looks over to Nureha, "This shouldn't be to hard, I mean, killing rats is like one o' one of any MMO." He then goes to rest his hands behind his head, seeming to have relaxed since their conversation and walk; maybe showing a more adventurous side, instead of the serious behavior. "And if this works, be a good one to let new players sink their teeth on."

Nureha goes very, very still at the elbow jab but recovers quickly with a bright smile. She hurries (or as much as she ever seems to hurry) to follow Xander and once the particulars are explained, she nods thoughtfully. "As long as we don't get overconfident, we should be fine."

She rubs her hands together, eyes glinting with a bit of cheerful mischief. "Oh, I haven't done this for.. oh. Quite some time." she worries at the ribbon tying back her hair, rubbing her hands together. "Let's see how it goes."

         OOC NOTE - See Scene 21 for the continuation of this epic tale of-- rat murderering!!! Cause apparently the duty system requires its own scene space.
