Silver Sword LFM

It's been a week or so since things went to hell. For most people, for the Silver Sword? It's not hell it's something else fo them. William had been part of the rescue operation as some of this guild had been in Ezzo and he's now reunited with them. The problem is not everyone was on and everyone's been dumped back to level one, not that they are there.

William hatched a plan, they need to beef up their numbers. There would be some who washed out. That was life in a raid guild but it could be more than that.

"Hopefully with all the influx orecruitse from Ezzo we should be able to find some suitable recuits."

A purple-haired pooka in a maid outfit notes to the blonde man. He looks like he stepped off the cover of a D&D rule book.

William smirked.

"Trust me we'll find at least a few."

"That's why we're with you, William!"

Notes a short gnome who looks like he too walked off a D&D book cover.

"Vuorinen? We should check out the Tavern after this."

"Are you seriously going to shout Silver Sword Looking for more?"

"We are not invite spammers Ukiyo."

William stops to start putting up a recruitment poster near the tavern's entrance.

Making her way back from the direction of Aincrad tower is a certain red-haired explorer, and judging from the expression on her face, she appears to have struck out once more in her attempts to gather a party to explore deeper into the tower.

Nevarri had always had bad luck in that regard, since nobody took her seriously as a raider on account of the fact that she never took raiding seriously. She mumbles quietly as she makes her approach to the tavern, her attention briefly drawn to the cluster of Silver Sword players, and for a brief moment her face lights up...

And then it dims again as she remembers that they too were hardcore raiders. The salamander elementalist takes a breath, and mumbles to herself, "Just leave the hardcore players alone, it's like oil and water..." As she instead makes to enter the tavern proper.

Kaydon was a loner. Or at least that was the air he tried to pass off. Really he was not much of one, he made friends easily enough. He had stopped near the tavern, fully armored up and looking for work, really. The were fang was currently not in his transformed shape, instead looking human enough unless one sees the brand on his neck.

So, there's Jazz.

She's caught sight of Nevarri (and thus the raiders and their arrival and even she can recognize several of them as Big Time Players just from general MMO experience), but she's heading over to the girl she actually knows.

"Nevarri," she calls to her.

She holds her hand to her witch's hat as she navigates the crowd, seeming discomfited by the presence of *so many* people just yet, but her eyes... yeah, her eyes keeping back to the Silver Swords. Impressive looking lot, at the moment.

Vuorinen pauses a the totally Gnome and not a Dwarf looks Nevarri over for a moment

"William? Isn't that the host of the Explorer's Guide to Elder Tale?"

"Looks like it is. She's not a raider though."

notes Ukiyo.

"Lass the issues of levels can be solved, you know we used her guides for the Deep Core raid."

"Humm a skill set like that would be useful, given we're now living in the world and there are no online guides anymore"

The tall man would start heading for Nevarri looking her over.

"Nevarri of the Explorers guide to Elder Tale, right?"

He also looks over Kaydon as well.

"We could use someone like you if you are interested at all. We are forming exploration division withing the Silver Sword."

Kaydon catches some intrest from the 'Dwarf' who seems to be sizing him and not hiding it. While William takes a look at Jazuhanzu for a moment, a undine? Interesting he muses to himself.

"A friend of hers and fellow explorer I take it?"

Kaydon takes a close look at the dwarf who's sizing him up, and considers for a couple of moments, "You guys on a recruiting spree?" He's heard of Silver Sword. They used to be hardcore raiders, though he hasn't really heard much from them in a while. With everything that's been going on as of late, however, they've probably been busy.

He's honestly a bit surprised they're not in Aincrad working on clearing the floor with DDD and the others.

Nevarri probably wouldn't have stopped long enough to give the Silver Sword people the time had two different things not happened to stop her in her, admittedly somewhat depressed tracks.

The first thing being her attention gotten by Jazuhanzu, with whom she's become friends by virtue of taking care of different duties repeatedly and gotten to know. Being that her Undine friend was pretty short, it took the callout and having to stop long enough to spot the Witch's hat, it's long enough for Jazz to catchup, "Oh, hey Jazz. How're you holding up?"

This is a long enough time for a certain William Massachusetts to catchup with her and refer to her online persona. "Wha--" Her bright blue eyes widen as she realizes that she's being recognized by the guild leader himself. Whom she also recognized if only because he stuck out as a Legolas looking dude. "Um... Yeah, that's me... Oh, yeah, this is my friend, Jazuhanzu." She gestures, before asking, "Exploration division? I..."

She gulps before taking a breath and averting her eyes, "I appreciate the consideration, but you might want to look for someone else. I'll only weigh you down while you deal with the tower." Voicing what Kaydon was thinking, even though she hadn't really gotten to know the were-fang.

Big eyes blink up at the tall man who's talking to them, yes. She blinks her eyes not once, but twice, then she draws in a breath sharptly. She's just... wholley caught off guard.

"...well, shit, it's been forever since this happened," she mumbles to herself, then she leans towards Nevarri, "I don't think they're recruiting you for the tower, Nevarri," she gives her a little elbow. Her elbows are small, so the jab is especially pointed! "Uh, yeah. I guess I like exploring." She looks down. Down at the spyglass that hangs from her belt.

You know, the one that makes it painfully obvious she likes exploring.

William Massachusetts smirks at Kaydon.

"Not a spree but we are recruiting."

He notes to Kaydon looking him over some more. William looks to Nevair for a moment.

"Did I say anything about the tower? There's a whole world out there, there are raids and dungeons no one has ever seen or cleared out there. There's no online guide to find them now is there? You are here you are the lady who wrote one of them right?"

He looks to Jazuhanzu for a moment.

"Given the sea-bound raid bosses we have now and we're short on undine."

He notes for a moment to her and then to Kaydon.

"If you think you can hack it, if not you can leave right?"

"Tell me honestly do you want to leave before you see all of this world?"

"I know I can hack it." Kaydon says, simply, as he looks right back at him, "I'm forced to wonder about the status of the guild of course. It's been a while since you guys had any major clears..Though with everyone back to square one, I suppose nobody's gonna clear anything for a while."

He considers, and then grins, "How about a duel? Just a quick one, nothing major." He offers, "Just to gauge how good you guys are. I'll let you pick who you wanna have fight me."

It's a bit of a double take, "Wait, really..?" Between Jazz and William, she was really quite surprised.

For her it's been a hell of a week. She'd sort of lost herself in the shuffle of trying to help out other people, what with the Ezzo rescue, adjustment to the world, and even that push into Aincrad. She was so focused on all of it that she had almost forgotten that there were still people who weren't quite so in a rush to leave the game world so quickly.

"I--Well, yeah, I did..." Nevarri scratches the back of her head, "I guess I'm surprised, is all... I mean, of course I want to explore everything, since they added so much, and even just checking out the place for the first time with my own... My own eyes..."

She pulls her glasses off for a moment and gives them a quick fiddle, "I.. I guess it wouldn't hurt."

She does glance at Jazz though, "Not sure about Jazz, though, she's been eager to get home."

She does take a mental step back as she observes Kaydon being a fight nut at the moment.

Frequently, there's a little stormcloud over Jazz's head.

Okay, not *literally*, but she has a sort of morose, dour presence more often than not. A veritable Eeyore. "...mmn.."

"... yeah, sure, I can help out. No sense in letting the maps I make go to waste, right?" She gives her shoulderws a shrug, a glance towards Nevarri. "We've done a little bit of it side by side, so I'm happy to help out." She pinches the bridge of her nose. "I know, there aren't as many of this race as you'd think. That's... undine-iable."

Oh. Oh no. She punned. Kaydon, however, just gets a look from her. Her brows are up. She does not need words to just say "Seriously?" with her face. Which is what she's doing right now.

William Massachusetts smirks at Nevarri.

"Yes really and I have to want you I do have a temper."

The purple-haired maid grins a bit.

"He calms down just as fast as he heats up and do not worry I'll watch out for you both."

Meanwhile William looks to Kaydon.

"Seeing if I'm dumb enough to pick a fight in a city like this? The Royal Guard would turn us both into paste and you know it. Another time sure though we're always been a PVE content first. Sounds like you found some resolve then."

He looks at Jazuhanzu and just stares at her for a moment, a punster? Eh, it could be worse.

William will then fire all three guild invites, the final call is their's.

"I'm going to hold you to that." Kaydon replies, hand swiping down to hit the accept button on the screen and add himself to the guild. He's never been much of a guild player before, but he is definitely PvE focused, and having folks to help him is not the worst idea.

"So... a guild. Well, okay then," remarks Jazz, accepting the invitation. She glances towards Nevarri, though, and then shrugs her shoulders helplessly. It happened. She's a bit bewildered, but she's definitely rolling with it. Everything is taking shape so rapidly!

William Massachusetts says "We all need to level back up again, even if we didn't? We have a few people well suited to help with that. Don't worry Kaydon I won't forget it. Just don't go crying if you lose."

He looks to Jazz and Nevarri nodding once.

"Your first task is to help put up some of the fliers, we can get back to levelling as soon as it's done."

His two long time companions fall in with the three new members to the guild. These were going to be interesting times he thought.

She's having to put out fliers. Oh, good. They've hired her for *grunt work*.

She stares at William a long moment, then well, she's gonna do as asked. Because what else is there to do?

Man, who knew that he was actually signing up for a working party. After all his time in the Marines he should have known better than to volunteer for things, "Shit."

The good news is the new Silver Blades will see William and the other two senior members, actually putting up flyers too. Seems they just wanted to speed things up, at least this shows William is willing to do stuff like this himself!

It's a wonder that the pun translates at all, given that with few exceptions, they're ALL Japanese. Nevarri squints a bit at Jazz, "Is it weird that being in this world is the only thing that makes that pun work?"

The redhead puts her glasses back on as her she lingers at the sight of the Guild invite, and her hand hovers atthe UI briefly in hesitation. "I suppose if I'm going to help you guys out, I should probably do some serious leveling..."

Another beat, before she taps the Accept button.
