This is only a game, right?

After some rat killing, a night's rest, AND a bath, Reika was finally able to let her hair down, proverbially and literally (which is always amazing with how long her hair is). She is sitting in the fountain area, one leg raised over the other and looking pensive. Not quite lost in thought as she's still looking around her for the other adventurers, but thinking her next steps. While she did reasonably well handling rats, she still thinks she's lacking too much as a player. Just listening to them talking about game terms like aggro and debuff went over her head. She would ask her fans, but with the situation, they are pretyt much scattered right now, and busy with their own things.

"YOU THERE!" Comes a voice from... where exactly? From the fountain?

"YES, YOU! THE SMALL IDOL!" Reika's probably been sitting down for maybe a minute or two when POLARIS THE UNYIELDING suddenly emerges from the water, standing up to their full six feet, revealing one of the fountain's metal fixtures to actually be the top of their helm. How... how long have they been there?! Why are they lying in wait at the fountain like that?! "I remember you! It is wonderful to see you safe and revived again, after that dire event in the Guardian's chamber!" The black knight leaps boldly over the boundary of the fountain, landing in the square with a stylish pose and turning back to Reika.

    Mizuki was up into the morning talking to other players. But when she doesn't have a job or school to go to, is there really any reason to keep a schedule? Maybe it just makes sense.

    Or maybe sleeping at all times of the day just means she's becoming even more of a cat...

    She woke up on a building roof somewhere, ate cracker-tasting food, and went back to bed. For the last couple of hours, she's been in the fields outside town killing mobs to try and get enough meat drops for a meal. It... has TASTE, though it's not as good as the rat meat from yesterday, weirdly.

    Dinner acquired, she walks back into town to catch up on any new developments. And hey, there's that Reika girl! Mizuki approaches and starts to wave, when part of the fountain turns out to be... an adventurer?

    "Um... hello again, Reika! How's it going? Had a chance to learn more about the game, yet?" She waves and smiles.

It all happens in slow motion. Like a horror movie, she eeps as the armored man rises out of the water. She has SO many questions right now, indeed... and even more when she finally sees Polaris in full. Her mouth opens and closes a few times, as if she was trying to get at least one question out... But failing.

She finally finds her voice after a few moments though. "Uhm, yeah, I respawned in the Church at the Root Town, so... I guess I'm safe. Good to see that you are too." She already knew from Wynfei, since they were still partied together, but hadn't seen the others yet.

Mzuki is a more familiar face for her right now, since they spent the better part of the last two days doing things together to help out "Hey. Uhm, not really. I don't know where to start, to be honest." She hehs "I've been looking through my UI, I need to work up all of these abilities, and pick a selection out of these it seems, but I'm unfamiliar with the terms for now."

Polaris's laugh booms across the square in a frankly unrealistic reverb, as if the acoustics of the area just gently bend a little to make them sound louder than they are. "Where to start? That's easy!" The black knight does an overdramatic motion that also serves to fling the water off their armor, to raise their hand. "You must first know the goal of your legend!!" Now, suddenly, the index finger of the gauntlet is practically in Reika's nose. "What do you _aspire_ to?! You're an idol! Your name needs to be known far and wide for your accomplishments! But _what kind of accomplishment?!_ The terms and the techniques, the mechanics and the minutiae, these are _secondary_. You'll know where to start when you know where to end!"

"If you want to grow in power and do great things in this new world, you'd better show me what kind of burning soul you've got in there!!" The gauntlet's index finger is in Mizuki's face now instead! "YOU! Do you know any valid great campaigns of effort that Reika can attempt to demonstrate that?"
