Gwen's Fey Mood

    This is not normal.

    Uta has been going on adventures, kicking butt, defeating the Hordes of the Undead, and generally being awesome.

    This is not normal, but it is not the kind of not normal that is not normal, no.

    What is not normal is that Gwen hasn't tried to stick Uta into the latest of Masterpiece of Fashion for a while.

    Thus Uta has gone on a quest to check on her Sylph friend, and possibly say hi to Morri who was so nice last time she was here, but mostly to check on her Sylph friend.

    Uta, so worried that she kept focused all the way through and reached the right shop, at the right time, on the first attempt.

    This is not normal.

When Uta enters it's not Gwen at the counter but Morri. She actually looks at Uta and smiles as she arrives.

"Hello Uta, how have you been? Are you here looking for something new? We have a few new spring items in stock right now. Or is there something else I can do you for?"

Also Mori's current outfit looks like it would be at home on some villain magic user in an JRPG or anime.

    "Wait, it's spring already?", asks Uta, in mild panic. "Yes, I'll definitely need some spring items, because, well, I've been around only in winter, so I have only winter items. But now that it's spring, the winter items will no longer be appropriate, and it will be necessary for me to resort to the... uh... spring... items... what kind of items were we talking about, again?"

    She looks around.

    Clothing items everywhere.

    "...Right!", she exclaims, punching her fist. "Gwen. I came here to check on Gwen! I haven't seen her in a while, and she hasn't tried to stick me into anything wearable of late, so that can mean only one of two things. One, something has happened to her. Two, I can't count, and I have to compulsively add a second option despite there not really being a second option in the first place. Or the second one, for that matter. Three, yes, I'll take some of those spring items."

    "...Nice outfit, by the way."

Morri poses showing off in said outfit at the compliment "Gwen had some ideas for you but she's been a little distracted." Morri, looks worried and her tone shifts. "It's likely a good thing you have come to check up on my daughter."

Morri makes sure it's just her, Uther and Uta in the shop at the moment. Then she will speak again.

"She started on a project a few days ago and has not stopped, she's been forgetting to eat and sleep. I had to cast heals on her a few times."

    Uta has an expression between the flattered and the terrified at Morri announcing that Gwen had idea for her, but the rest of the update is not comforting. "That does not sound good," mumbles Uta. "Do you mind if... you know, go check on her? Provided that the project does not, you know, involve breeding a herd of monsters which maul whoever comes close..."

Morri laughs "No monster breeding, she's working on a tapristy of some sort so you should be okay could you bring some food to her?" She looks uta concerned "I think we'll be all right if we just keep her from losing herself to the project fully. She's in the upstairs working right."

    "If it is not the man-eating kind of tapestry, it's fine!" She hesitates for a moment at the question. "I... I do have some food, but, well, not having any cooking skills at all, uhm..."

    She flicks her finger, navigates through her menu, and materializes a bentou box. A plain, black, lacquered one. With the ideogram for 'BLAND' decorating it.

    "It's menu-made. It might taste rather... plain. But, hey, it keeps one from starving?"

    A moment of reflection.

    "Plus, if she's so engrossed in her task to forget to eat, she probably won't even notice what she's chewing tastes like..."

Morri nods "It's better than nothing, so head up on check on her, it might work better than I or her father doing it." She will open the way to the back for Uta to get up to where Gwen is working on the second level.

    Uta climbs the stairs, and levels up to level two (well, technically it's true!) The obligatory "May I?" is uttered, and in she walks (without shoes, of course!), craning her neck to see if she can spot Gwen...

Gwen is there working in the center of her clothing workshop. She's working on a Taptiry as was said and it's a pretty damn big one too it's very properly stylized but if Uta takes a look she might be able to ID a few people, hell there's a figure without any real decoration pressing a glyph which looks like the randomize button from the character creation menu. Gwen, meanwhile is working away without pause if Uta might inspect her she would see she has the hunger and filth debuffs on her.

    Uta freezes in awe at the massive tapestry, standing immense in this space. She gapes, still, holding her bland lunchbox of victuals.

    Despite it being a work in progress, greatness already shows through, and Uta spends some time admiring it. She does notice the undecorated figure pressing the randomize button, and at that, she comments, sotto voce, "Hey, it's the menu with the girl!"

    After Uta has paid the tapestry due respect (which might take a looooong time), she snaps out of her daze and hurries to inspect her friend.

    Uta has a nose, so she didn't need to inspect to be aware of the filth debuff, however, the hunger was not so obvious.

    Unless, that is, the 'stomach growling' sound effect was active. In which case, Uta has ears as well. Long ones, at that.

    "Hey, Gwen?", she offers, softly. "Inspect shows me that you have the filth debuff active. I suggest you take a bath, or your'll end up making your tapestry smell, and, well, neither of us wants that, do we?" She raises her box. "I've also brought you a snack. If you have chopsticks, tou can eat it without interrupting your work."

The tone of voice Uta uses will snap Gwen out of her work with a confused sound. "Huh?"
D she shakes her head a bit Gwen snaps out of it for a moment. "Oh wait how long have I been at this?" She doesn't seem to know she's been working really hard. Also, the argument that she'll make her masterwork stink. She seems to ake that to heart. "I should get something to eat I guess I should have a bath or go for a swim." She could use the menu sure, she just doesn't think about life here that way. She does smile though. "It's good to see you Uta, I might have some ideas for you when this is done."

She'll take the food and it seems yes she can use chopsticks even if it bit haphazardly.

    Uta chuckles, "No idea, really. Been a while, probably. It's good to finally see you again too, Gwen." She moves to sit on a nearby... anything available for sitting, really, provided she gets permission from Gwen. Or if nothing is available, hey, Japanese style kneeling on the floor it is. "Ideas, huh? Should I be regretting having awoken you from your trance?"

    She leans back and relaxes. "Yeah, you go do that. I hear baths and swimming feel great in this world. It'll help you relax."

Gwen says "I just had this idea I can't get this one out of my head." She admit as she'll get up for a moment, "Come back after resting up that osunds good." She'll move to rapidly eat the food but will pause as she gets up. "It should be warm enough for a quick dip, come on..." Oh lord hwat has Uta got herself into now. The good news is she got Gwen to take a break.
