Smithing and Stock

Shiruba goes to make sure Miho isn't hurting herself and to stock up on supplies.

Shiruba nudges the door to the smithy open and sticks her head inside. "Miho? Giganpor? Are either of you here?" Pauses. Then snorts softly and mutters "Of course you're most likely here, considering." Then raises her voice to correct, "Are you here and paying attention?!" She's not about to shout because she doesn't want to disrupt any delicate work they're doing, but she's darn well making sure she's going to be actually heard.

She's learned from her experience with Kaydon and Gwen and this 'fey mood' deal.

The sound of hammer on metal can be heard, someone is in the shop working, Miho really needs to hire someone to man the storefront when she's working. It takes a little while but there's a reply. As a soot covered Miho comes out, oddly ther's glowing molent like 'tattoos' on her arms as she comes out.

"Oh hey I been busy how are you doing. Shiruba right?"

Shiruba manages a soft chuckle. "Yeah, we're all aware how busy you and Giganpor have been." Then tilts her head a little to the side as she walks in the shop properly, ears perked curiously. "That's an interesting effect you've got there. It's almost like the runes that appear when I imbue an arrow."

Miho says "He's a good student even if he won't admit he's my student." She notes for a moment as she looks over Miho for a moment. "Eh Effect oh that? It's one of my skills I guess I can shape metal with my bare hands with it. It's crazy but it works. Though my teacher would have my head for doing that."
Shiruba

Shiruba does laugh at that. "I think he's still a little sour over how things went with the Gnome instructor." She leans on the shop counter on her arm, giving a nod towards Miho's arm. "Neat. I thought Salamanders already had resistance to fire, but I suppose hot semi-molten metal is a different thing." Her tail drapes around her ankles lazily. "Anyways, I came buy to check up on you guys, and to stock up before we try taking the fight to that Undead Army again." Brushes fingers through her long angular bangs. "And you're the only Adventurer smith I know that actually knows a bit about Archery."
Miho

Miho folds her arms. "I didn't spend five years of my life training to be a smith for nothing. Nor pass the exam after all. A burst of flame itns't metal you know. Oh what do you need to stock up on? Arrows I would take it? Anythying else? Need anything looked over. Aye I do archery myself so I try to keep a good supply of arrows. Any sorts of heads need?"
Shiruba

Shiruba holds up a finger to waggle lightly. "You did promise to help me with arrows~ ... Though I've seen the 'fey mood' enough times to know you might not distinctly remember such things at the moment." So it's given a light dismissive wave.

With the other hand she pulls her bow out of inventory. It's not -the- starting bow, thank the Goddesses, but it's still clearly low gear level and well worn. "The last few months have been hard on this thing. I'm going to completely outlevel it soon, if it doesn't just break first."

Then rests the bow against her shoulder. "Besides, I'd rather go through fellow Alliance channels that off searching the markets for generic vendor gear. It's just not going to cut it for the Calamity Waves. Or this Undead problem."

Miho Says "I have arrows made up I asked what heads did you want for them." She makers a feace and then she looks at the gear. "Oh this needs some repairs I'll see what I cna do though this isn't quite where I do things." She admits looking at Shiruba for a moment. "Anyone who tries to sell you menu made items outside potions needs to be /smacked/." Hee tail flicks at that statement. "Yeah the Scale seems willing to screw us all over to get what they want, and this world to boot."
Shiruba

"As we've become painfully aware. Sometimes literally." Shiruba makes a face. "With the Tower, too... I mean, it's not -all- the players' fault. It's the head leads and the people obsessed with leaving pushing them to climb faster that's the issue... and one we can't immeadiately addressed. Not without spreading ourselves thinner than we already are trying to clean up the existing messes."

Shiruba sighs softly, then puts a smile back on as she sets the bow on the counter. "I probably just need an outright new one eventually, but time is short and I'm sure you've got your own special project on your mind more. And the arrowheads don't matter as long as they're functional quality really, since I turn them into arcane projectiles as a class function... But if what we've seen with crafting is true, better quality base will make the empowering better as well."
Miho

Miho says "Well you need to learn more about them arrow heads can do differtn thing like be harder for your enemies to pull out." She notes for a moment however she'll go to fetch several bundles of arrows. "Will these do for you? Check them ouyt if you wish. As for that yeah they are going to keep going and someday we will foul up and not be able to stop a wave. We may need to figure out how to stop the climb, for good."
Shiruba

"I won't deny that most of what I know... is from extensive trial and error learning to not rely on menus and commands anymore," Shiruba emits, one ear giving a faint flick at the thought. Maybe that is why it's taken longer than she expected to hone newer abilities? "Mayhaps, when we don't both have more pressing things on our minds, you could help me on that?"

She picks an arrow from a bundle, holding it between two fingers. There's a sparkle in her eyes, not unlike frost on a window on winter mornings, and similar glimmer around her fingers that seem to flow up the arrow's shaft to etch elemental runes in it. Even the fletchings turn an ice blue nearly matching her hair. "Oh, yes, even with a simple step up in craftmanship I can feel the magic taking a stronger, deeper hold... This might be exactly what I need for that stormwind blast to finally hold.."
Miho

Miho says "I should have started trying to actally do that sooner." She smiles for a moment "Well we'll see hwo it's goes and we're getting close on this job. Oh good so how many do you want of the arrows?" She grins a bit at that.

Shiruba grabs up the rest of the bundle. Then squints at it in her hand. ".. What's the count on a max stack, anyways?" Though it feels kind of weird talking like that and 'inventory' still being a thing despite how real everything is now.

In the end she shrugs, and drops the whole thing in. It certainly makes her quiver look more full. It probably functions like some manner of 'ammo slot'.

The wolfgirl takes a sack of coin out and drops it on the counter. Immeadiately holds up a hand. "Ah ah ah. I don't want to hear anything about my being a Guild Leader blah blah blah Alliance resources and so on. If anything that is -more- reason to see that the endeavours of our members are supported... and you're probably going to need it to restock after the big project." She pushes the sack over before picking up the bow. "Trust me, I've seen two friends go through this already... Actually."

She pulls out a big chunk of quality boar meat and tosses that on the counter too. "Get someone to cook that for you and Giganpor." Smirks. "I can't cook, but as a Hunter I can ensure others can with higher quality at least."
Miho

Miho looks to Shiruba and sill give the amount on a max stack. "Oh I wasn't going to say a thing on that you are a customer you are buying from me." she grins for a moment. "Oh ... boar?! You brought home what's the american saying? The bacon." She grins even more and will tkae the item. "We need keep people well stocked, right? Be they Hunter or Advewnturer."
Shiruba

Shiruba actually laughs at that. "Good, because it would be poor business to treat me differently just because of it... And yes, it's something like that." As she starts back towards the door she raises one hand in a half wave, half salute. "I'll come back for more archery insight when we both don't have other things on our minds."
Miho

Miho says "I take /pride/ in my work." Tail swish as she goes to fet more arrows for them. "We should talk about that I'm going to be in the market for a new bow soon myself, right? The new city is going to need a barracks and armory later Take care..."
Shiruba

All those are true, but after dealing with two friends in this creative obsession, Shiruba knows it's best to let them finish before getting more focus on those other things.
