Festival at the Dragon's Larder

Alchemy and Brewing would not be possible without the abundance of herbs, grains, fruits and spices provided by the flourishing botanical world. So Vertina is holding a celebration at her newly established Tavern in Tolbana, the Dragon's Larder, to celebrate both it's opening and the Living Green Festival.

(A simple come-and-go-as-you-wish social RP, to celebrate both the tavern opening and the festival. A chance to get in some Festival RP.)

Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

The art and profession of brewing would not be possible without the abundance of treasures provided by flourishing nature. So it's only fitting that fate would line things up so the new tavern in Tolbana could be completed at the same time, and Vertina decided to hold a celebration both for the Living Green Festival and the opening of the Dragon's Larder.

Due to the short time frame between finishing construction and establishing a party there isn't much in the way of decoration. Mostly strings of flowers, twigs and other fanciful foliage hung around the rafters. But there is no shortage of food to be eaten and drinks to be had. In the spirit of the world event Vertina has collected beverages from all corners of Yamato. Rice Sake from Fourtails, Red Spice Ale that's popular with Salamanders in Westeland, fine wines from the Dukedom and various fermented berry drinks from Eastal. There's even what's become known as 'Ezzo's Memory', a darker ale that is one of the few rescued from the now ravaged kingdom.
For those wishing to imbibe something other than liquor we've still got you covered. There's several berry and fruit juices, Sakura Petal Tea for those feeling classy, and various herbal essense teas from Fourtails and Eastal.

Vertina herself is already at the bar, taking care of the orders of the first few arrivals. Though she makes sure to wave to everyone that enters even if just briefly before turning to her tasks. The rest of waitstaff is, not surprisingly, made up of Scale Emblem members of Ezzo refugess that have settled in the tower town.
Schneider
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Schneider enters the tavern that he's heard so much about, and will head over to the bar. He smiles cockily and says, "A glass of wine, please." Because that's totally what Dark Schneider drinks, nevermind that the player's had wine like twice before in his life. He takes a look around as he takes a seat here, and observes, "This is a pretty nice place you have here." He's still new to Scale, and getting to know people.
Kita
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

As of late, Kita has spent much of her time between Alne and Tolbana. In fact, much of it has been spent on the statue that stands not far from the Tavern, dedicated to the experiences of the Ezzo refugees that now call this town within the tower, their home. So, it may be no surprise that she has decided to come out for an evening's drink and socialization.

Of course, the resident Artist doesn't go anywhere without her sketchbook, and it appears as if she were already working on some sort of new project. Rough sketches that appear to be designs for stone carvings or decoratons mark the page as she idlely doodles, from her place at one of the tables.

"You know, I think I'm going to become a regular patron of this place." She comments, giving a nod to one of the waitstaff as they deliver her ale. "Close to home, good brews." The gothic Imp's tail twitches as she taps her pencil on the page, pushing her glasses up with her other hand.
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wisteria isn't going to miss her Tall Fren's party. That's just a silly thought. The tall albino girl leans on the counter and sips juice. "It's very nice I like it." she says looking around the tavern.
Kotono
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Kotono's here as well, looking like she's in the mood for a bit of fun. Although something may seem a bit off about her, but that's because it took her a long time to get here, so she's a little out of breath. Other than that, it's the same Kotono you know and love!
Napellus Martina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

A grand opening. That was about the perfect place to test out something, as a young woman enters the building. Either a spriggan or a sylph, she seemed to be wearing a cute little headgear meant to look like ant's antennae. She looked... kind of like the typical adventurer!

She slips in pretty quietly, and would make a beeline for the food and drinks put out, ignoring the alcoholic drinks in favor of the sweet drinks to take one and sip at it, quietly looking at and taking note of looks and appearances. She would very politely bow her head for the drinks, giving friendly 'Thank you's to them. Followed by the girl beginning to move off to the side. "Yes, the juices are very delicious." Whitela comments almost in unison with Wisteria.
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"Your work in making Tolbana a stable settlement went a long way to making things like this possible, Kita," Vertina replies to the artist, even as she's filling drink orders from the bar. "One glass of wine," she sets the drink in front of Schneider. "Good to see you here, get a chance to meet more of the Alliance." Then nods to her bunny friend and her juice. "I made sure to have options for people that don't care for liquor but still want to enjoy a good time with their friends." A wave is given towards Kotono huffing her way in, then Vertina goes back to her tasks.
Merek
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Merek takes the time to put on the normal dark attire he often does, along with beltcape. There's a look about the place, while he pulls back the hood which he wears, there's an adjustment of the gloves also. The man offers a nod along to people.
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wisteria smiles at the spriggan girl "The whole place is cool." she says with a laugh and relaxes watching people and seeing how Vertina likes running a tavern.
Schneider
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Schneider accepts the glass from Vertina, sips it, smiles. "Thanks! Good stuff," he agees, and nods about meeting more of the alliance. "That's one of my goals." He looks out to the other patrons and raises his glass in salute. "Kampai!"
Kita
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

There is a soft, almost shy smile that Kita offers Vertina in response to her kind words. "I came from Ezzo, myself. I know what it was like. People who went through that hell deserve some place to call home." Still, she lifts her drink in toast to the tavernkeeper. "And we, both deserve a place to get completely sloshed."

She meets Schneider's toast with that lift of her glass, then sets it down again, lightly letting her pencil scrawl on the paper. "With the farms getting up and running, hopefully Tolbana will be one of the central locations for both food and drink. Though I'll just be happy to see the tail end of the potion shortages." Kita admits.
Napellus Martina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Whitela sips at her drink some, those antennae moving slightly in subtle movements that could easily be mistaken as from the movements of her head. "The decorations are nice." She comments simply towards Wistera, lifting her hand along with people a bit... awkwardly at the call of 'Kampai!'. It was clearly a bit of an awkward mimic. "K...Kampai!" This place is definitely going to have to be marked as a place to scout more later. It had good sweet drinks. "Potion shortages? I have not noticed. What happened to the potions?" Asks Whitela curiously. And mention of farms around Tolbana. Hm! Useful information!
Miho
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

A new Tavern? Why not it sounds like a fun place, and given she knows the owner? She was happy to be here and to have some fun, she was also dropping off a few orders for weapons as well before hand. With her business out of the way and fresh coin in her pocket? It was time to go have some fun. Booze and maybe some games oc chance. Poker? Majong? She'll find out it could just end up being dice too as Miho saunters into the tavern bouncing and her tail is /wagging/.
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Vertina chuckles at Schneider. "That's the spirit!" Then holds up her hands. "No getting sloshed for me until afterwards. A good barkeeper never drinks on the job." She does a mock suspicious eyedart expression. "... Besides, I get all the brewery test samples... Besides, the potion makers what the farms can produce right now. I've made accomidations to keep trading for ingredients." Which does help the town establish it's own economic place at least. "Hey Miho!" The shorter Salamander gets a wave. "Someone's in a good mood even before they found the party!"
Schneider
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Schneider hrms to Kita about a potion shortage. "There's a potion shortage?" he wonders. "I wonder if I could help with that? But I'd have no idea where to get the ingredients." He looks around, wonders, "I don't guess any of you are herbalists? Only, we could probably make some money....." Then Vertina explains that the farmers are on the job already, and he ohs. "Ah, I see. Well, if you need anyone that can do brew healing potions..."
Prophylaxis
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Between certain undead uprisings that needed to be put down with extreme prejudice and the proliferation of plantlife across the entirety of the Tower's accessible floors, the Doctor of Tolbana has been exceptionally busy this week. Though with the Temple of the Burning One now well underway, he can at least afford some time to spend indulging in libations and distractions of the alcoholic variety.

The door to the tavern swings open, causing a little bell to chime as Prophylaxis himself... Stumbles, rather than walks in. His backpack is full of all manner of interesting collectables from around the first few of the Aincrad Tower's floors. Without ceremony, he meanders over to the bar, drops his pack onto the floor, and his head onto the countertop.

"Mgrghgh ske pplzh."

...Or so he mumbles out, but it's still comprehensible to a skilled barkeep's ear as 'one sake please.'
Syx
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Taverns mean beer. And beer means Syx. The salamander all but kicks in the door, which if he had done so would have probably knocked it off the hinges.

"Hey party people!" He yells out, stepping into the tavern and throwing up his hands. He's half tempted to do his entrance music but he opts not to, this time, "Somebody beer me!"
Kita
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"That's a shame, but promise me you'll at least enjoy the fruits of your own labor afterwards." Kita asks. She continues to savor her drink slowly, obviously not trying to get sloshed, herself.

At the questions about the shortages, Kita nods her head, "Mmm. Potion prices have been getting pretty high as of late. Supply and demand. We have hundreds of thousands of Adventurers all needing the same potions, and not as many people focusing on producing them." She shrugs, seeming to not know much more than what is there at face value.

"Not an herbalist, myself. Artist." She taps her pencil on the page, "And black mage. But I pretty much get my hands into anything and everything going on here in Tolbana. Improving the city is important to me." Kita lightly chews on her lower lip, just over where there is a small scar visible there, "The farms should help with the supply problems, once the crops get going."
Kotono
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Kotono has mostly been doing her own thing, but she does give a wave to Syx as she enters, albeit nervously due to how he kicked the door open. "Couldn't you have just knocked?" She asks nervously.
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Vertina leans over a little to look at the pack Proph dropped onto the floor. "Someone's been busy... and looks like he needs a drink." Fortunately she has the experience to catch the mumble, and fetchs the requested sake for the Good Country Doctor. And slides a mug down to Syx when he reachs the bar. "Probably one of the least chaotic public appearances you've made, but welcome."
Napellus Martina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

The people around her seemed to be happy. Whitela noted this was a place of joy. She was slowly looking around, as if attempting to take in the construction of the building, as if it would give her some hint as to the construction and secret behind it. Hm! Perhaps the Colony could make use of a building like this? It seemed to be a place that improved morale, and perhaps for information sharing, too.

"Curious. One would think adventurers would put more resources to the filling of that demand." Muses the ant. "I am... a constructor. Not helpful. Apologies." She continues to sip at the sweet beverage, her gaze shifting around thoughtfully. "Why does the city need improvement? It is lacking?" She was not being subtle with her information gathering, but could easily just be mistaken for a solo adventurer. Probably.
Miho
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miho would first go to catch up with Vertina and she would pull up to the bar and looks over at her for a moment while looking at Schneider. She feels like she's seen him somewhere before.

"Potion prices have gone way up be they produced by Landers or Adventurers. If you can make em now is the time to get into the market. Scale goes through them pretty hard let alone all the other alliances. Or even the Lander's armed forces."

She notes as she looks to Vertina for a moment.

"So whatcha got to drink Vert?"
Schneider
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Schneider nods to Kita, and agrees about the farms coming up to speed helping with supply. He glances between Vertina and Proph, snickering a bit, then drinking his drink. He smiles to Miho when she looks at him; he's famous? Of course he is! "Hey there," he greets her. "How do you do?"
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"I've got some of the finest tastes from across Yamato Miho, take your pick." Vertina seems to be right at home behind that bar and just enjoying that people are having a good time. With all the things going on as of late everyone probably needs a bit of unwinding. "I know a bit of alchemy. Enough to help myself out, but not really flood a market with anything. Maybe sell a few as part of the off-sale."
Prophylaxis
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Sake, sweet sweet sake. Even half-dead though he may be, Prophylaxis can still detect the sound of booze being deposited in the close proximity of his head. He grabs the cup without even looking for it, unhinges his jaw and pours the contents down his throat. A moment passes. Then another. Then a shiver suddenly snakes down his spine from head to toe and back again. With a roar of SUDDEN REVITALIZATION, Prophylaxis springs upright!! Then sits back down and places his cup on the tabletop for a refill.

"Why?" He asks at the strange, ant-ennae'd adventurer over yonder. "What a foolish question. Do you stop building just because something is 'good enough?' We are creating a home not only for ourselves, but for those who we will someday leave behind! To leave things as they are, 'sufficient but not amazing,' is settling for mediocrity! And I will. Not. Have it!"

"Also could I get some water to chase the sake down with?" He asks the barkeep, "Can't knock myself out too early in the evening."
Kita
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"Everyone has different focuses." Kita explains. "Some people fight, some craft, some build, but there's not as many people that are interested in spending their time farming when there is an entire world out there to experience."

In fact, whatever it is that the Artist is designing seems to be part of yet another project, one that some might recognize as having connections to certain religious figures within the world of Yamato. Rather than adding anything, she does motion her hand towards Prophylaxis, as if his explination was more than enough to tell why they continued to develop Tolbana.
Miho
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miho says "Miho Mithrilscale."

She notes to Schneider. She'll then put in an order fo some sort of drink from the empire. Mwanwhile for a moment she'll look over at Vertin again and nods. "I can see how that goes." She looks back to Schneider for a moment. "So enjoying yourself? I'm thinking about trying to get a game of Majong going or maybe something else before the night's done."
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wiseria smiles "Some of us poke around the edges and look for where things glitch." she shrugs and sips her juice with a smile.
Napellus Martina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"I see. Hm." The comment from Miho gets a small smile towards those who explained to her. "Thank you for explaining the situation. It is good to know." Whitela gives a small nod towards her. She finishes off her juice, before looking towards Vertina. "May I please have more of the berry juice?"

And then... Prophylaxis starts to go in on her about the city. And it being mediocrity. And... she shifts awkwardly, fighting back aggro flags for a moment. "I see. So it is lacking, then. It needs constant improvement to not be lacking." She gives a nod of understanding. "No mediocrity. Teamwork to constantly improve?" She can easily understand that! It was the backbone of the colony. To Kita she gives a nod. "Yes, everyone has their place in the -- society."

"Mah... jong? What is mahjong?" She asks towards Miho, looking towards her quizzically.
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Vertina disappears back into the small kitchen area for a bit, as one of the entrances to the cellar under the brewery is there. It's a few minutes before she returns, with sake and water for the Doc, juice for the newcomer and Wisteria, and a few other requests from up and down the bar.

Then a thought occurs to her. "Hey, Doc, is the 'things growing faster' that's suppose to be part of the World Event helping the farms any?"
Schneider
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Schneider smiles to Miho, introduces himself as, "Schneider. Dark Schneider." Well, there was a given name field and a family name field, but there wasn't sufficient error checking to prevent him from naming the character that. Is he enjoying himself? "Oh, definitely!" But he nods about Mahjonng or something later. "Not that I'm any good at it. Too much to keep track of." He listens up as Vertina asks if yhings growing faster is helping the supply situation.
Syx
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"Hey I try to keep it relatively easy going." Syx replies as he takes the drink and then chugs it down relatively quick, not bothering to take a breath as he drinks it down. Once he finishes, he slams the mug back down on the bar, "Another!" He grins at Vertina, since he knows that she knows who he is, and this kind of behavior is not totally unexpected.

That being said he'll also tip really well.
Prophylaxis
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"It's perfectly 'adequate,'" Prophylaxis corrects with a mild, sake-imbibing shrug. "But I am nothing if not a perfectionist. I doubt I will ever be satisfied with Tolbana, but perhaps I can be convinced to stop pushing so hard to build things eventually."

He looks toward Vertina then... and shrugs. "They are in fact growing faster. I was hoping that some other mysterious herbs would have popped up alongside the ones we're growing, but I suppose it'd be too easy if that's all it took. Still, we should be ready to begin stabilizing the potion market relatively soon."
Merek
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Merek takes a look around in the place, before he finds a place to settle in at the bar, nodding to Whitela. He seems to be listening to the conversation, "I will take a whiskey," he would note, while he places a pack of coins upon that bar, looking to people.
Kita
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Kita just gives the stranger an odd look, but they are likely not the first odd person she's encountered since finding herself stuck here. Still, there are others who draw her attention, moreso.

"That's good to hear, at least. If we're going to make headway, we'll want to get those potion prices back to normal." While the Imp Mage hasn't been seen in the last few floor battles, she has been working in support of Scale Emblem.

You know, other than that month or so where she could think of nothing else but the statue currently in Tolbana's main square.
Miho
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miho says "Mahjong it's a game of chance, that is pretty popular where I was born."

She notes to white haired woman.

"People sometimes bet money or just play for fun. It all really depends on the players honestly." She notes with a grin and will stat sipping at her drink once she gets it.

"If things are growing faster then we should be planting the herbs for healing pots."

"DArk Schneider where have I heard that name."

She shrugs a biut and grins.

"Could be funt o leanr I won't play for too much coin if we do. I just not had a game in a while. I should really look into getting ... a custom set made for myself."
Napellus Martina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Prophylaxis' explanation gets a curious tilt of Whitela's head towards him. "...I see. Still. It sounds reasonable, to me. I enjoy doing construction." She pauses, shifting a bit in place as she thinks on things quietly. Miho explains mahjong... and she quickly drinks her juice. "I see. That sounds entertaining. Perhaps teach me sometime. It is time for me to go home." She nods, and then turns to quickly take her leave.
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"Good. Wasn't sure those 'effects' would actually reach the Tower. Best take advantage of it while we can." There's several parts of conversation at once, while taking care of orders and refills, but it doesn't seem to phase Vertina much. She must have some manner of experience at this. Whiskey for Merek, refill Syx's beer, and she gets one of the Spriggan waitresses from the kitchen to bring him a plate of cluck-cluck drummies as well. Got to have some bar snacks if you're going to be drinking like that. "My Grandmother had a saying that was something like 'Be good, but never just good enough. You only fail when you stop trying to be better than you are.'."
Schneider
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Schneider chuckles to Miho, admits, "I took the name from the anime Bastard. And I am an exploder wizard." He grins, sips his wine. "Haven't found any Thunder Empresses yet, though," he says with a chuckle. "The character here's not nearly as capable as in the show, sadly. I guess the guy in the anime was much higher level than I am."
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wisteria hmmms "Have we gone through the jungle upstairs? To see if stuff is growing there that doesn't normally?"
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"I assume that's what the Good Doctor was doing, by the looks of that pack." Vertina chips in.
Prophylaxis
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"Correct," Prophylaxis says of his recent outing. "I've been out exploring and scouting the tower's floors to see if we can collect any rare and exotic herbs during the Event. I've been going with a few of the newbies, but I won't object to more company and more eyes."

Prophylaxis quirks a brow at the Mysterious AntVenturer as she gets up to leave, then shrugs and attributes her presence to... Probably some kind of new member of one of the Alliances or something? Maybe someone should have inspected her before she left. Not him, not tonight! Prophylaxis has drinks to imbibe.
Schneider
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Schneider is one of the newbies Proph has been exploring with. "We did pretty well, too," he insists. He finishes his wine, though, and will head out. "Need more gold," he explains. Meaning, there's quests to do.
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"Good. Every extra bit we can get helps. You guys keep enjoying yourselves, and shout if you need anything else." Vertina walks out from behind the bar, going off to be a good proprietor and mingle with the guest crowd a bit. Need to make those good first impressions to have a returning crowd after all.
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wisteria nods "I've got plans... I'm going to be working with someone to get a suit of armor crafted, I've gotten almost all the materials. Then I'm going to see how many curses I can shove into a suit of armor while not making it explode or crumble to dust."
Miho
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miho would see a few people head out and she'll be working on her first drink of the night. "Did you say armor commision?" She looks over at Wisteria he tail perking up, she's very intrested all of a sudden.
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"Whenever I finalize a weapon design I may get you to enchant it for my Wist," Vertina adds to comments in passing. "At least so my fire powers don't burn everything up."
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wisteria giggles "I've been meaning to talk to folks with the skill like Golden, I know she's got the right class skills and she did construction in her life outside." she nods to Vert "Of course I will, silly question." she sticks her tongue out at her friend.
Syx
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

For the most part Syx has been wandering around, drinking and chatting with folks. When he hears Vertina talking about weapons, he stops and leans towards her, "I'm telling you, weapons can break." He holds up one of his hands, the one without a mug of ale in it, "These never do. I bet you could kick some ass without a weapon though."
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

In response Vertina stomps her foot to the floor, causing a low but audible rumble. Though she's being quite careful to not doing it hard enough to actually break the floor. "I do. Literally," she replies with a smirk. "But I've already run up against threats were it would of been nice to have something with a sharp edge to pull off armor or hamstring a leg so they can't move. Besides," she pulls out a fist guard that's had large hooked spikes affixed to it, "I'm sticking to what won't get in the way of when I -am- punching and kicking things."
Miho
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miho says "Intering if there's one costant with my life here in Alba or on Earth it's a hammer in my hand striking super hot metal. I was a smith long before I logged in." She ntoes with a grin. "Can't help but be curious aboult the work of other smiths you know?"
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wisteria smiles "I won't say no if you want to hear me out when I talk about the plan. If I can get all three of you looking at it... this is all loot based, I've managed to loot almost everything I need for a full suit I think."
Miho
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miho Sayus "Sounds like a plan to me I'd love to hear and I don't mind working with others on projects. It makes things intering and I might just learn something too!"
Miyako
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

There is Fasionably Late, and then there is Miyako Late. When the spriggan bard isn't on time for something, she /really/ isn't on time. It's like punctuality is a thing for other people. So when she bursts into the new place, she finds - to her total lack of surprise - the party is already well underway. "Hey all. Wisty, Koto-chan. Merek. Everybody. Nice place. Sorry I'm late, had a problem with - eh, you don't wanna know. Doesn't matter anyway. Life is. So what'd I miss? Anything fun?" She grins and waves cheerily.
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Vertina returns to the bar just in time for Miyako to make her very late arrival. "Yes, but no, there's still plenty of drinks and snacks to go around miss! Make yourself at home and enjoy."
Kotono
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Seeing Miyako arrive, Kotono runs over to give her a hug. "Heya Miyako, glad to see you finally made it!" She hands her a drink. "I ordered your favorite just in case you arrived."
Syx
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"I suppose that might not be the worst idea." Syx muses, as he takes another drink from his ale and then hmmms a bit to himself, wandering around to get some food as well. Not a bad idea!
Miyako
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

With a warm chuckle, Miyako slides one arm around Kotono to return the hug, taking the drink with the other. "Hey now, Tall Dark and Stabby, my favorite? Somebody finally figured out how to make root beer in this place?" She takes a sip of what was handed her and hmmmms. "Something's not quite, but I can't put my finger on it." She shrugs and leans over to plant a kiss on the other Spriggan's cheek.
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"Haven't quite figured out how to do carbonation without modern processes yet," Vertina comments at the mention of root beer. "But we've got beer that's been in the root cellar. Which is how root beer got its name before they made non-alcoholic versions."
Kotono
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"Tall Dark and Stabby?" Kotono giggles at that term for her. "Well, I guess I can be that, hmmm?" She frowns a little. "Something's not right with the root beer? Hmmm." She shrugs, but then blushes and smiles when she gets a kiss on the cheek, which she returns immediately.
Miyako
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"Er, no, not really," Miyako says, shaking her head. "It's from a small beer made with sassafrass root. And fermentation alone's enough to do carbonation, you don't need fancy gadgets for that. I did some home brewing once, made some half-decent cider."

She shrugs and gives Kotono another squeeze. "Hey, I call it like I see it. You're tall, you're a Spriggan, and you stab stuff. Q.E.D." Grinning, she makes her way over to the bar.

    "Any danger of a cheeseburger?"
Merek
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Merek looks to be content with watching people and kind of drinking whiskey.
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"I wonder if we have sassafrass root in Yamato..." Vertina actually makes a note of that to check on. If there is, the traders would know. "You get extra points for knowing actual brewing trivia though!" Pigtails wag as she shakes her head. "I tried to avoid things that the other two Alliance establishments have as mainstays. But there's plenty of cluck-cluck drummies and boar bacon to go around."
Kotono
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Smiling at the squeeze, Kotono makes her way over to the bar as well and orders a cheeseburger for her buddy as well as one for herself. She also orders a root beer as well since her mouth is starting to feel a little dry. "Well, I can't argue with that logic!"
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wisteria nods "Have you tried like.. air magic? I mean I think it'd be pretty easy.. or water magic." she hrms "Maybe both? But they made fizzy drinks a long time ago right?"
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

"I don't have water magic," Vertina points out. "Air, though." She snaps her fingers, making just enough of a breeze to ruffle Wisteria's hair. "Or maybe I need to experiment with making fizziness through alchemy."
Miyako
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

No cheeseburgers? Well, that's... only mildly annoying. "Alright then, we'll go with the cluckers. And maybe some barbeque sauce or something to spice 'em up?" She slides onto a seat at the bar, pulling Kotono along with her.
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wisteria turns back to Miho "Glad to have you, I wana get a whole suit of armor done, traditional style that I can cram as many curses into as possible."
Vertina
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Vertina points fingers at the pair. "Now that, we can do." She heads back into the kitchen area, and a few minutes later returns with the order. "Enjoy! And that goes for everyone else too. I'm going to take a break, but the bar is open." She strolls over to the large doors that lead back to the brewery, whistling to herself in quite the good mood.

If her parents could see this they'd be proud of her carrying on the family business, even if its in another fantasy world.
Miyako
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miyako nods and smiles as she takes the plate, and settles in to eat and chat with Kotono. "Thanks, friend."
Miho
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miho says "Why do you want to cram curses into it? Merek's already playing that game right now and i fear for his wellbeing." She'll order anotehr drink at this point and seem a bit lost in thought.
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wisteria smiles "I'm a Shadow, poison and curses are some of my best spells. I don't want to make cursed armor, I want to make an armor of curses. That curses anyone who hits me."
Miho
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miho has the light bulb go on. "OH! I see where you are going with this now. Yeah this sounds like a need for several people to work on it."
Miyako
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miyako sits, chatting with Kotono while they eat, until the other Spriggan has to leave. Then she turns to watch the others and listen quietly for a bit. "Sounds dangerous," she says. "Somebody walks up to you and taps you on the shoulder, gets cursed...."
Wisteria
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Wisteria shrugs a bit "I haven't had any issues with my sword." she says "It has a threshold before it actually starts dropping dark magics into peoples heads."
Miyako
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miyako shrugs. "Not my lookout if you do, just be sure to stand well clear if we're in a fight."
Miho
Tolbana - The Dragon's Larder

Miho will friend invtie Wisteria at this point so business can be talked about later. "I'm going to try and see if I can get a game or two going." Once the friend invite is sorted out? Miho will get Mahjong game going and play into thewee hours of the morning.
