Hunting Hammers

    Wistiera has put out a call to various people she knows who have classes or known skills for Armor Forging. The Bun seems to have a plan for something special. The tall ablino girl is hanging out in the new Tavern up the tower in Tolbana. She's sipping from a glass of juice and nibbling snacks.

Goldenblade has heard that the call has gone out about the need for an armor smith, and she shows up. Entering the tavern, she looks around, and, spotting Wisteria, she'll head on over. "Pardon me," she says as she comes over to Wisteria's table. "Are you the one looking for an armor smith?"

    lifts one pale white hand and waves it. "Hey Golden, yah I'm tagging folks dunno how much help I'll need on this cause it's a full suit and I know that back home it took lots of work to just get my Kendo gear made, much less real armor." she grins

Goldenblade nods slowly, and says, "I don't really know how long it takes, either, to be honest. I'm new to all this. I've learned to do the actual crafting bits, not just menu crafting, but I'm not super experienced at it. Just a few test pieces, really. But, I'll be glad to help, definitely. I've actually been wanting to make something, but I haven't really made the time."

    Wisteria nods "Yah I've talked to Miho and hope to talk with Giganpor soon too, but I'm wanting to build a full suit of onna-bugeishi armor that is good enough for me to shove every curse I can into it without it blowing up or disentigrating." she grins brightly

Goldenblade blinks about shoving curses into armor. She says, "I'm ... not even sure what that means, to be honest. But I can make a physically tough set of armor. I don't think I can do anything magical with it, myself." She rubs her chin. "But I can make it tough, sure, if that's what you're looking for?"

    Wisteria laughs "Needs to be light, mobile, easy to move in, and it needs to be able to hold as much wave as possible. I'm the one doing the Enchanting it's one of my job specialties." she says with a grin "And dark magic and poisons are my specialty."

Goldenblade ahhhs about Wist doing the enchanting. "Fair enough. Light and mobile will be hard to mix with tough, but I'm thinking chainmail is what you're looking for. Steel armor, won't cut or tear, much tougher than leather. But not quite so heavy as steel plate. Not quite as tough, but it'll turn a blade unless your opponent is very determined."

    Wistiera shakes her head "Looking at traditional lamalar, with a Do, helm, traditional Onna-bugeishi, I've got materials all from boss or war drops. Spider chitin, and mamoth bone, spider silk, zombie armor plates that kind of thing."

Goldenblade ahhhhs, "You want the traditional route, then," she says with a nod. "That'd be pretty sturdy, also. Not quite as light, I think, but not too heavy." She considers the materials, some of which she's pretty familiar with. "Those would work well," she agrees. "How ornamental do you want it? Just normal, straightforward? Or artistically fanciful?"

    Wisteria kind of shrugs "Well it'll depend on you guys quite a bit. I'd like it to look nice, who doesn't right? But there are things like replacing the mon with a token of the Blind One, that kind of thing, and I'll need to be able to engrave it at least on the inside, if not having the runework in the enamel or something. To make sure it can handle all the enchantment I want to shove into it... I mean I'm really gona try to get some big curses in here. I want when someone to hit me... that they know they messed with the wrong Bun." she grins wide, it's not so intimidating as when she's in bun form, however it is the grin of a national class competative weapons sports star.

Goldenblade nods slowly again, "Looking nice, of course, goes without saying. In a place like this, style is as important as substance. Japan's like that in general," she agrees. "It's the case most places, to a greater or lesser degree, I guess." She considers, asks, "As far as the curses, will you be engraving them on the metal, or etching them in the paint, or did you have a specific substrate in mind?"

    Wisteria nods her head "Well it will depend on if you guys can add an enamel I can work on in some way. It's lots of different materials it'll be made of... like bone and metal and chitin and stuff."

Goldenblade considers that, but says, "Enamel shoudln't be too hard. Or, shouldn't be harder than getting the rest of that all together. It's ... pretty complicated, but the best things usually are." She says, "We can add quite a few enamel plates, though, in various places, if that'll make it easier to add your parts?"

    Wisteria nods her head "We'll have to see what works, cause I might need to work some with the way it is asembled."

Goldenblade smiles, says, "That sounds like a plan, then. You said you were doing a full armor, which piece did you want me to work on? I've got kind of a lot going on, but I can squeeze in some work tonight, and I should be able to fully support you soon."

    Wisteria smiles "Tonight isn't necisarilly needed, I stillneed to kill one more boss. Then you Miho and if he agrees Giganpor can decide who works on what depending on your interest and skills."

Goldenblade ohs, nods to Wisteria. "That's fine, then. Let me know whenever you need, okay?" She hesitates, "I think chimlink can do that?"

    Wisteria sends a friend request "That way we can at least keep in touch right?" she grins "I'll let you know if Giganpor joins in and I'll let the three of you know when I've killed the last boss I need."

Goldenblade accepts the friend request, nods about the plan forward. "That's great. I look forward to working with you on this."

    Wisteria smiles "Want a snack or drink? Vertina runs this place it's awesome."

Goldenblade will have to decline, "Sorry, I can't stay," she says. "I'd love to, but I need to get going." She looks around, agrees, "It does look pretty cool, though, I'll definitely check it out another time."

    Wisteria waves "Alright, be safe and have a good day. I'll be in touch once I've got that last bit needed to complete my armor.>"
