Duty Session 199: Obligatory Rat Cellar

In each of the starting cities, there are at least a couple of poor merchant landers who have developed mysterious rat problems. This is clearly bad for business! A worried looking Lander stands outside their shop, rubbing their hands together, looking anxious, flagging down any passing Adventurer they can find to help.

June
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

June is playing catchup, the middle aged woman in her best barbarian princess having escaped Ezzo is now at the Hunter's Guild. She sends out party invites to people almost at random, looking for people who will join her on what is austensibly a lowbie quest, hunting rats.
Schneider
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Schneider is kind of a lowbie, himself. So, he gets the chance to run a mission he's never run before, he'll jump at the pportunity. He arrives at the meeting point and will bow to June. "Good evening," he offers. "Dark Schneider, here. Rats, huh? This should be pretty cool."
Kauchemar
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Kauchemar actually has not done this duty very often, so out of some mix of bordom and ... well, that's about it really, but she's here all the same. Never hurts to check out the old places to see if they've changed lately. Seeing as other dungeons have opened up more levels eventually.
Prophylaxis
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Hunting rats is never to be underestimated. It is an important task, after all, to make sure that the damnable vermin never establish a foothold from which they may spread plague and pestilence without abandon.

In other words, it's a task with which a doctor must concern himself personally.

Prophylaxis arrives, his staff rapping rhythmically against the ground with every step he takes. His eyes gleam with inner purpose beneath the rim of his wide-brimmed hat and above a shark-toothed smile. "I was told we were hunting rats! Wonderful. It's about time the population was culled again. Shall we go, then?"
Akatsuki
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

It's a rare and red letter day, the day Akatsuki isn't in stealth.
hat's the only reason June's random party invite hits her, because she was at the Hunter's Guild handling something and then-- ping. Party invite.
    ... Why not.
June now has a ninja assassin in her party, and almost as soon as Akatsuki joins... She vanishes. Though it looks like she's following the party, hidden considering she hasn't actually left or anything.
Setsuna
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Setsuna had been at the hunter's guild for other reasons today, putting up his own looking for work ads but when he got June's invite. He had heard about the rumored rat quest, and the tasty meat it could provide but he had never found time to get to it. So he had no reason to deny it. Seeing the doctor and others gathering June as he approaches, and smiles. "I appreciate the invite and look forward to lowering the rat population with you all."
June
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Looks around counts heads, frowns... shrugs... "Okay so everyone ready to kill rats? I can't believe I'm back to killing rats... but months in Ezzo and just standing around eating cardboard and trying to punch through walls that don't exist... I mean shhhhhh..." she switches to one of Tolkien's elvish languages, the translator going on translating as she talks quietly to herself. "You're doing it again Junie... you're doing it again... you're over sharing, over sharing drives people away remember that's why we don't over share." she stops looks at the party and smiles switching back to Japanese "Hello I'm June." she manages just her avatar name for once. "I do hope you'll take care of me while we handle rats." she says and bows holding her hands infront of her like she's introducing herself at a business meeting or first day of school. Strange woman.
Setsuna
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Setsuna looks at the group and then at the party leader, " It is a pleasure to meet you June, I'm Setsuna . So where do we have to go to find these rats? " It feels a tad odd seeing all the people gathered to just go to slay rats, maybe they were rodents of unusual size. " I mean I don't think the quest is for the hunter's guild...does this guild building even have a basement?" He wouldn't be surprised really if that turned out to be the case.
Schneider
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Schneider's long hair is blown back dramatically by a small, isolated zephyr that doesn't go much past his head. He stands there attempting to look cool, smiling confidenly; killing rats probably isn't that huge a task. Even for a noob like him. Well, you've got to start somewhere, right. And then you play it up like it's kind of a big deal. But really, it's just rats. Supposedly.
Prophylaxis
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Prophylaxis does not comment on the mental state of this rat-hunting party recruiter. He has enough trouble juggling the mental health of members of his own alliance to worry too much about the psychology of others. Instead, he seems to glance askance as another name appears in the party list... But the person it belongs to fails to manifest. It's that ninja again...

Is she hiding in the rafters? Under the floorboards? Where is Akatsuki hiding...?

"I am Prophylaxis," he says, absently, as his eyes scan for sneaking nins, "Doctor of Tolbana. It's a pleasure."
Akatsuki
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Akatsuki is here. ... Somewhere. She's definitely in the party, but there's just no spotting her.
And she is most certainly not behind Prophylaxis.
Kauchemar
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Kauchemar tilts her head to the side. Then leans a little closer to June, and faux whispers cheerfully. "Psst. We can hear the voices in your head when you use them outloud." Then stands back up, cusping fingers to her chin. "If there are multiple voices, do we need to introduce ourselves to each? Hmmm. Well, anyways, Kauchemar Tenebrae, Midnight Muse and Mistress of Monstrousities."
June
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

June blushes darkly, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red. "They aren't voices, it's just that sometimes I say things that are more rude than speaking a foreign language." yes she is aware the Black Wave broke this coping mechanism but how do you FIX a FIX especially without a therapist?

"We're going to help out a merchant who has rats in their cellar." she says with a little shrug of her bare shoulders. "Let's get going." she says and heads off towards the merchant, going around to the back to head down into the cellar. When the party arrives at the bottom of the stairs, the smell of moldering earth rises up, moss grows on the walls. Everything seems to be water damaged to some degree. A distinct lack of rats might lead someone to believe they've gone into the wrong cellar until the squeeks and scratching behind the walls gives lie to that impression.
Akatsuki
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

A few boxes seem to have moved out of the way while no one was looking. How odd. Who or what could have done that?
Kauchemar
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

"Oh don't worry about it dear. We're all a little mad here." Somehow Kauchemar manages to sound both reassuring and a bit eerily creepy at the same time. But what else do you expect from a Nightmare?

"Tch. These rooms are never as they seem. How cliche." Despite being a more magical combatant she's considerably strong thanks to her choice in monster species, and has little trouble pushing boxes and other containers around in search of passages or other secret access points concealed behind them.
Schneider
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Schneider isn't going to blow one of his big spells first thing on the quest, though it seems rats are a bit more than he can handle with a sword. They're just too small and agile, and he's not particularly good with the sword he carries. Between the two, he's fairly ineffective at fighting the rats. But he stabs the hell out of a bunch of boxes, and almost breaks his sword on the wall.

As far as madness goes, he's stuck in a game with a bunch of strangers, so his sanity level is questionable from the start. This was not part of his college plan. His folks are going to be furious. But that's not helping kill rats, is it?
Prophylaxis
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Prophylaxis does not squint at the shifting boxes because he's a little busy dealing with the fact that this cellar is brimming with mold. It's frankly kind of disgusting if he must say. Letting your cellar get this bad is a sure sign of a bad merchant if there ever was one! It's a great way to cover your goods with a fine dusting of allergenic spores!

Prophylaxis is having none of that. "Time for a test-run," he mutters to himself and pulls a vial of... something that looks VERY VOLATILE from his inventory. "Hup," he lobs the bottle at the wall of vines with an underhand toss, and...

FWOOF!

Fire! Fire everywhere! Or rather, just on the mold and ivy. It burns intensely for a good few moments, then flickers out and dies. He clicks his tongue at the result, "Too much magnesium, I think. Oh well, it did the job."
Setsuna
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Setsuna follows behind the group down into the cellar as most the group tries to move the boxes around he simply seems to start to look for the source of the wwater damage, "Looks like there is some water damage here on the ground. You can tell by the lime build up here." He looks towards the doctor for a moment as if to get a second opinion before he looks at the wall. "My bet is a hole in this wall somewhere." The fire suddenly appearing surprises him however, not the second opinion he was hoping for.
June
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

June looks around helping to move boxes, for a small middle aged librarian in cosplay... she is surprisingly strong. The strange bottle of fire opening up a gap behind some of the moss. "I guess that's the way?" she points and shrugs heading to the hole.

The gap opens up into a rough passage way. Then she starts to look around. "Ooh good... a maze.. how do these even fit under cities? I told the guys all the time... why do you do this.. and they always said shut up players accept it... now where's that puzzle lock?" she grumbles to herself in elvish.
Akatsuki
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

We're not saying Akatsuki almost gets lost. We're just going to say no one sees her almost get lost for it to happen as she tries to scout ahead for the group and hits a dead end, returning silent and sullen to the back of the group without a word.
    Or breaking stealth.
Kauchemar
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

"The first mistake is to think too hard about it," Kauchemar replies to June. "You learn to just kind of go with these things." The Nightmare... just sort of wanders, but at the same time takes notes of dead ends and turnarounds, and will eventually trial and error her way out. "I bet this is one of those mazes that changes every time too, so you can't just memorize a route."
Schneider
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Schneider sheaths his sword after the party drives off the rats, no thanks to him, and now he's expected to help us find our way ... someplace useful. Hopefully, no one's actually relying on him, because he's pretty much lost, and it's kind of obvious. "Wow, I didn't think a lowbie quest would be so hard!" he remarks in a candid moment. He hasn't got the role playing thing down yet, and he's just a teenager in way over his head and not a 400-year old sorcerer that killed the devil with a spell of his own design. And he hopes he can follow the other party members out of this place.
Setsuna
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Setsuna steps into the hole and as they move along the passageway every so often he would stop and check for tracks or scratch marks from the rats as he keeps pointing the direction. "Looks like our target is this way, " He points down one of the tunnels and continues to try to not get people loss...no guarantee though. He was capable of hunting things but would likely get loss in his own museum if he had one.
Prophylaxis
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

"What?" Prophylaxis looks over at Setsuna and shrugs, "I don't know why you're so surprised. The wall had to come down /somehow./" Fire was just the easiest way to do it!

But then... They are faced with a meandering maze, and no amount of explosions will help them get through it. "It's probably a little too winding to just use the left-hand rule, huh...?" He frowns and... passes out a few vials of STAMINA POTION. It won't help them through the maze, but... "Drink those if you start feeling a bit worn out. Exhaustion is a deadly foe even on the easiest of quests...!"
June
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

June hmms and sniffs at the air, then crouches down. In a different elvish language she says "Hunting is off cooldown, smell of rats is stronger that way." she says to herself and hmmms. Working with Setsuna and Kauchemar the barbarian dressed woman helps locate the right path.. and really everyone should have been able to track this one by smell alone. It is a cesspit filled with rats and garbage and really how do even the rats stand that smell?
Schneider
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Schneider wrinkles his nose as the reek of this place becomes apparent. As others clear the air, he summons a water elemental to suck in the dusgusting and disease-filled water, and spray it downstream like a firehose. The water level begins to drop, leaving the rats high and, if not dry, at least not swimming in filth.
Akatsuki
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

What is that on the ground? It looks like a rolled up ninja scroll.
When the scroll unfurls on its own it turns out to have the writings of a potent wind spell on it that disperses some of the stench and rats as well.
Kauchemar
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

"Yeah, no, not dealing with this mess." Fortunately as a Summoner she doesn't have to either. Kauchemar summons a sloshing vaguely homnid Water elemental and sends it off to clear a path through the rancid filth before she's going to even dare set a hoof upon the floors to cross the room.
Setsuna
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

"I swear anytime I go underground lately, its some form of nasty sewer like place," Setsuna needs to invest in some form of pinesol smell or something, maybe study under a godhand on how to meditate and believe he was in a better spot. Looking over at Schneider he nods his head, that guy had the right idea as he begins to summon a torrent of water to try to wash away as much of the stench as he can.
Prophylaxis
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

The smell is both ominous and foreboding, a grim promise of what it is he's going to find around the next corner. Prophylaxis is keenly aware of what disease smells like. Rot, death, decay, sickness, foulness, these things and more fill the dark crevasses of his mind and swell his nightmares like gas within bloating corpses.

And he does not like it, no sir. No /sir./

"Nope," the doctor says, the wind stirring around him and building. Building. Building more. It swirls and rages, becoming a vortex of pure force. With a gesture, he hurls the nascent tornado forth, sucking in vast quantities of trash and rat and detritus and carrying it all much, much further into the depths of the caves.

And then he sends a wave of flame down into rat and rot alike. The collected gases burn wonderfully, turning all the decay to ash.

"Not gonna deal with that. Nope."
June
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

June joins in on clearing out the stench to let the party through this garbage hell. She moves into a stance and starts going through a kata best described as airbending. Sending gusts of wind with each punch, and swirling kick she throws, just toned down air blades really but hey it works along with everyone else getting rid of some stench by sending more garbage and rats to join Prophylaxis's conflaguration.

Then they move into a world of twisted metal. In Elvish once more "Really... like where does this much metal trash come from... where does the rat even get them... I swear the design and coding team just do this so that we have to write more weird reasoning into the world lore." she shakes her head. But it's a beast to defeat and THAT makes June smile. In a different Elvish. "Keep it in check Junie.. just the rat... don't break the room don't kill the party you've got this girl." she says licking her lips.
Kauchemar
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Metal trash. Giant rat wearing metal trash and scrap for armor.

"Yeah, not dealing with this, either." The water elemental is gone, and instead Kauchemar puts her Binder Shield into play. She charges it with elemental energy until it ignites in flames, and then imposes it between herself and the clattering creature. It's a giant rat, but it's still just a dumb rat, it's not hard to position the flaming animate shield so the rat runs right into it and burns itself instead of successfully harming her.
Prophylaxis
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

"Nope," Prophylaxis says again when a rat appears utterly bedecked in plate armor. "Where did you even get that anyway, rat? At any rate, no." The magus swings his staff wide and conjures a barrier of arcane force that causes nearby scrap metal to bend and coil away, carrying their tetanus-ridden cutting surfaces far, far away from him.

He also conjures said barrier /just/ in time for the armored rat to hurl itself, full force, into the wall. It bounces off with a delightful *PONG!!* sound, almost like something hitting a pinball bumper. "This entire place is an infected wound waiting to happen."
Schneider
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Schneider grimaces at the huge rat with the patchwork armor, but he casts, "Damedo! Magic Shield!" and wades in to fight it. His swordplay is onlt soso, but his shield is solid, with the added benefit of slashing the creature each time it swings at him. Stab, slash, thrust! Shield-smack! It's not as cool as some other attacks, but it's solid and reliable and it sucks down the creature's health point by point.
Setsuna
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Setsuna sees the giant rat wearing armor, " How did that thing even but that metal hat on its head? This thing has to be someones pet." Pulling clean earth up from underneath the mess he spreads his shield out to those that are trying to go more on the offensive, he even leaves up some stone blocks for that one party member in the group who decided to chicken out. Setsuna can't blame the person, ninja's are meant for more stealth missions not things like this.
Akatsuki
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Funny how there's suddenly a knife embedded in the armor wearing rat's back.
How did that get IN there?
There's no sign of where it came from or who it belongs to. It's just rammed in between the armor's seams good and deep and deadly.
June
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

June shakes her head, left, right, left, right. Then faster and she's a metalic bull woman, iron scales covering her mini'minotaur form. She paws at the ground with one hoof. Then she charges, green mist puffing in and out of her muzzle. She slams into the metalic rat the two juggernauts meeting in a clash of iron on scrap. She halts the rat's progression and starts pushing it backwards before it suddenly goes limp from nin-stabbing. "Well... that works." she puffs out in gouts of what HAS to be toxic breath given the color and slow disipation of it. "Let us go hmm?" she says in Japanese, not shifting back, her metalic hooves clack-clanging on the floor... she's probably not the best at stealth in this form.

Then they manage to locate what HAS to be a boss, after all it's in a room all by itself, the place looks like a church. And it's an F'ing giant rat made of an amalgamation of bones. Boss it must be.
Setsuna
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

"Nice job on the knife their Kauchemar. Your binded weapons are getting pretty good, " Setsuna says as they walk by the dead armored rat and move on further into this damn rat nest. As they get to the bone room he looks around and then the bone rat appears, " I mean take it from a necromancer, thats rather cliche. Being a bone creature hiding in a bone pile, have some class." He generates a ball of fire, not as refined as Prophylaxis's but it will due for now as he launches it at the rat to burn the bones to ash.
Schneider
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Schneider has a solution for f'ing giant rats. F'ing giant fireball. "Brain, Brain dead. Obey your blood oath, come forth from the land of Avalon. Fire of Gehenna, become a fiery blast and burn everything around us! EXODUS!" It's a pretty big and pretty hellish convulsion of fire, searing the giant rat horribly. Bones burn, too. Pretty much everything burns, with Exodus. That's more or less the point of it, but it's always nice when a plan comes together. Particularly when it's a fiery plan.
Kauchemar
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

... Oh, the oddball girl was a Were Fang all along. Huh. That actually might explain a few things. At least as far as Kauchemar is conserned. She knows she's a bit wack in the head herself, so it makes ... huh?

She blinks at Setsuna. But she... Well, no reason to dispute it, what's done is done... and honestly an animate knife would be a cool sneak attack.

And they find the boss. Which is a giant skeleton rat. "Finally, a boss that gives the undead some proper representation... Though yeah, a giant pile of bones ain't exactly the most inconspicious hiding place. Points off for that."

The bone rat doesn't seem to take the critism well, and swipes at her with it's bony claws. The Binder Shield interveins, but the blow is enough force to smack the shield back into it's master. "Oof!" Kauchemar shakes her head a bit to clear the ringing. "Well at least you don't keep getting stuck in walls."
Prophylaxis
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Look, whatever it takes to murder an armored rat- even if that involves letting it ping-pong between impenetrable (by armored rat-power) barriers until eventually getting wrassled into a shinobi's knife- is totally worth it. That's one less armored rat in the world to worry about!!

The party moves on. They find...

"...Hrm, how long has this place been down here? A temple underground? But what would be worshipped here...?" Prophylaxis rubs his chin, even as a clattering of bones rattles against the masonry and slowly assembles into a... Hm.

It's an undead rat. Yeah, that checks out. That's certainly a thing that burns extremely well when you apply sufficient heat. It'll be a right proper bonfire! Ha-hah! Puns!

"Watch yourselves. That thing is bristling with dark magic-- actually, Setsuna, you should try to figure out how to summon beast skeletons! Ones that /don't/ tear your laboratory apart, preferably." Prophylaxis is getting distracted. The further rattle of bones shakes him out of his reverie. The doctor frowns, embers gathering around the head of his staff. "Here," he says, levelling the glowing weapon at the skeletal beast. Twin, incandescent bolts spiral outward from the surging firelight, tracing a double-helix before slamming into the rat's heart.

They explode in a glorious shower of embers, heat and light...!
Akatsuki
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

One of the chandeliers at the top of the room comes loose, dropping from on high to land on the bone rat.
And Akatsuki steps out from behind Setsuna's shadow, casually dusting her hands as though it were a piece of cake.
June
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

June growls and blows out toxic breath "Well... not going to exactly poison you to death hmmm?" she licks her lips. Her tongue is oddly... not metal... or would a metal tongue be odd... it's just a thick bovine tongue. She starts pawing at the ground with one hoof, building up for another charge it seems and then... she starts praying. "Oh light of the heavens, spirits of purity, empower this servant with the blazing light of your wrath. Let us bring light unto darkness and crush the minons of darkness under hoof." she growls her eyes flashing as a golden halo of light gathers between her horns. Setsuna and Prophylaxis sending flames into the undead thing. Kauchemar trying to tank... and doing about as well as June herself would if SHE tried to tank. The skeletal beast weakned by fire and a smashing chandelier, just before a glowing holy bull made of iron smashes through it, exploding it into flinders.

June comes to a sliding stop just past the disapating boss, panting out her green breath. Then she looks at the alter. "Ahh... a temple of the Burning One... how apt... I am glad to have cleared this place of taint." she says taking one of the tokens and kneels speaking quietly in Elvish again. "Burning One, bless us and this place, and we shall continue to smash the monsters that come to threaten your people and lands."
Setsuna
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Setsuna turns to the doctor to return comment when he almost stumbles over Akatsuki and just looks at her for a moment and then shakes his head, " I see how it is. You waited up top till we had a good enough lead andthen you ran all the way here in hopes of getting the final hit on the boss. Obviously you are to late. I mean I don't mind you getting the reward for the duty, but seriously if you want xp you are going to have to learn to go through the trials with everyone else." Setsuna's tone has a very parental one as he lectures Akatsuki for the moment having completely forgotten about what the doctor said. Finally, it appears he has nothing else to say and turns to approaches the altar and picks up one of the marks, " Another trinket for the trophy case."
Schneider
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Schneider is looking over the token he received. It's pretty cool. The armored woman wreathed in flames. He likes flames. It's a bit disappointing when an enemy he's set on fire vanishes in a puff of logic. Those were his flames. Why would you snuff his flames? He looks around to the others, gives a thumbs up. "That was pretty cool, yeah?" After a rocky start, for him.
Prophylaxis
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

The monster falls. Prophylaxis huffs as it becomes a pile of inert bone once more and goes to investigate the altar at the back of the profaned temple. What he finds there... Well, it doesn't /shock/ him so much as it elicits a soft 'huh' of thoughtful consideration. "I wonder... Burning One, did you call me here? What a fascinating coincidence. Hmn..."

Well. Maybe he can offer it at the Igneous Temple later...?

Then, there is an Akatsuki! He looks over at Setsuna and frowns, "She's been here the whole time, you know that right? She's just kind of easy to miss."

Because she's a ninja.

Certainly not because she's smol.
Kauchemar
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

"At least she stays out of sight instead of getting underfoot." Granted, Kauchemar is pretty tall, a lot of people could be considered underfoot for her. Underhoof? Eh, not going to quibble semantics on something like that. "That is a strange thing to come from the loot of a giant rat skeleton though. Usually there's more..." she gestures vagely with a hand. "... symbolic connection."
Setsuna

Setsuna turns and looks at Prophylaxis and then back to Akatsuki and then back to Prophylaxis, "Are you sure? I mean I'm pretty sure I would hav seen her at some point between then and now." The necromancer seems in disbelief.
Akatsuki
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

Akatsuki gives Setsuna a very hard, very flat, very dour stare.
She looks ready to say something...
Then Prophylaxis sticks up for her.
    "Thank you, doctor."
Prophylaxis
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

"Absolutely," Prophylaxis nods, "She hopped into the party way back up on the surface. You can check the party menu yourself if don't believe me."

He flashes Akatsuki a little thumbs up.

Gotta pay what's due to the ninja that can gank you from the rafters at any moment.
June
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

June stands stretching and shifting back to looking like a late 30 something cosplaying librarian. "It is, this a temple to the Burning One, her worship being what keeps monsters at bay, her temple being profained by the undead to be cleared by heros who do not yet know the measure of their own mettle." she says vanishing the mark into her inventory.

She takes out a notebook looking for any writings, sketching them down. "Now, if there are enough religious writings here... maybe I can figure out when this writing is from, which race first used it." she mutters to herself in Elvish. "You have a connection to the Burning One?" she addresses Prophylaxis in Japanese.
Prophylaxis
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

"We built a temple to her up in Tolbana on the first floor of Aincrad Tower," Prophylaxis explains with a shrug. "Ever since then, the monster presence in the area has declined significantly, so there's probably something to what you just said. I wouldn't say there's a 'connection' there per se, but who knows? Maybe there is."
June
Overworld - 0 - 3 - 0

June takes a deep breath "Do... do you have any writings or written carvings? Did the build menu include any writing or scriptures or anything?" she continues in Elvish "Don't get your hopes up Junie not like they're gona make it that easy to figure out some other writers conlang right? No one is gona just leave it out for you to find..."

"Uhhhh, you got me," Prophylaxis shakes his head. "We have priests among the Landers who took care of most of the scripture and actual business of worship. We just put together the resources and built the monuments. You're welcome to come and ask around if you like, though. Tolbana's open to all adventurers."

Setsuna fills in for the doctor as they hike back up to where they started, " You sound like you are looking for something special. Probably would be best to travel there yourself. Just tell them your a friend to the Scale Emblem Alliance, they should answer what they can. " The necromancer knows from experience, sometimes you just have to make that long walk yourself.
June

June shrugs "Not necisarilly... but hey... I'm looking for something general... a new temple might just be the place to look." she stretches. "Now I need a drink."
