Stormy Disposition

Shiruba seeks help from fellow archer and smith for future plans.

Shiruba
Shibuya - Main Square

Even when it's not a beast of the wild or the monster terrorizing Landers, a Hunter needs to know their quarry and were to find them.

Which is why Shiruba is loitering around outside the recently completed smithy in Shibuya. Because there's a certain someone she knows will come along eventually to see the shop. In the meantime, she's brushing out the feathers of her choco--I'm sorry, her Peko. Running through the overgrowth and underbrush of Eastal tends to make a mess of plumage.
Miho
Shibuya - Main Square

Miho is also at the city the alliance has made and is wondering about moving her own operations here. That's actually why she's hear scouting around for a good sport. She should have less red tape than back Root city. She also found where Giga has been hiding from her as well. That however isn't why she's here, and she just happens to be lurking at the smithy, maybe intending to abush Giga himself. Her tail swishes as she scopes the place out. "He can't hide forever..."

Shiruba wasn't an animal handler but the bird is well enough behaved to let her work without stressing out. Goodness knows she needs all the calm time she can get. She's actually looking the other way for a moment, trying to manage his tailfeathers when Tradewind gives a squack. "Ah! I'm sorry, did I pull a feath--" She notices Miho lurking towards the smithy as well. "--Oh. Good job." Birds and sharp eyes, and what not. Shiruba puts the feather brush away and scampers towards the shop herself. "Miho! Just the Salamander I was hoping to run into."

Miho head tilts as the horned woman looks over to Shiruba and grins. "And just what would the wolf of the wild want a smith such as my self for?" She grins her tail is just about wagging. It's clear she's happy to see Shiruba at this point. "So lets find a place to sit if we're going to be talking for a bit." She may also smell business..

"Yeah, good idea." She wouldn't be wrong with that notion. "Well, remember when I said your arrows are really good and I'd probably come someday looking to upgrade my bow as well?" She holds out the decent level but highly generic bow she's been using for several months now. The wear and tear shows. "Well, that day is close. With the threats that have been turning up it's just not cutting it, and my magic enbuements can't pick up all the slack."

Miho says "Do you need anotehr batch of arrow heads?" She asks curious about this one and is always up for more business. "Bow? Not much of a wood worker but I can deal with certain parts of it and given how this world is who the heck knows. I'm down for a challenge to be honest, well I'm happy to give it a ... shot."

Shiruba laughs at the joke. Then waggles a finger at Miho. "Now don't you think I didn't come asking without being prepared!" She makes a melodramatic show of pulling a discarded piece of metal armor out of her inventory. "I've got these Old Armor Pieces from fighting off the Undead that I'm sure a properly skilled smith can reforging into useful material again." With the other hand she produces a couple of elemental gemstones. "And I've got things that can be used to attune it with the air and ice magic I use."

Miho says "Oh you have been working on gathering parts for this little project huh? Oh I can do things with this. Oh yes I can do things with this. Though Enchanting I can not do... yet." She needs to pick up Jeweler somehow to be a far better smith in a world with magic.

"I didn't think so," Shiruba acknowledges. "But that's what these are for. If there's appropriate arcane foci incorperated into the bow I should be able to channel magic through it the same way I put it into my arrows. Might even be able to conjure it's own projectiles that way, and then I'd only need to carry arrows for the specialty spells."

Miho says "I see where you are going, mmm I know a few enchanters who worked on a project I was involved in. So I can mange getting that done and humm this could be a very fun project even if I need outside help." She's looking very eager and her tail is speeding up.

Shiruba grins, little fangs showing out of the corners of her mouth. "I was hoping you would say something like that!" Her own tail wags quite eagerly. "I'll get this stuff bundled together and send it your way. Next time that undead bastard isn't going to know what hit him!"

Miho laughs. "Indeed, they need to be stopped don't they. We will bring an end to them and whatever was behind it. We will stop them somehow though I fear the price we may end up paying to do so."

"Nothing worth doing is done easily. That's about the only saying to come from my father than I can agree with." Shriuba wrinkles her nose a little, and then puts the thought back out of her mind. Doesn't matter here, overbearing parents are not Shiruba's problem like they were Denora's. She's got actual lives to worry about protecting. "Not to mention Author's got it out for me now because I was helping Gabriella be independant." Her hackles raise. "He called me a mutt. A mutt! Can you believe that." Her tail has gone from happy swish to irritated swatting in a matter of seconds.

Miho says "Sounds like you are going to need to get serious then if someone like that has it in for you. Well when your ready i can get started on this project. I promise I won't go into some kind of fae mood for this. I really do now lets go flush out Giga if we can. I want to see what my student has been up to!"

Shiruba nods, tucking the items away for safe keeping for now. "I should check in with him as well." She tries not to snicker at Giganpor being called a student again as she follows. He already went through that whole training quest before this.
