Elf Only Inn

Shibuya would have a hunter guild branch now that was a big thing for the Alliance. It made the elf archer quite happy about things, other ideas were bouncing about. There was a certain guild girl to try and get to the branch. She'd really caught her attention with just how damn good at her job she was. Also, she didn't seem too paused by Adventurers or Hunters. Even better in her mind, She was now wandering the Main Square. Singing some song or another as she seeks out a site, a site for an Inn near where the Hunter Guild and Alliance HQ would be.

It was kind of funny how with the HQ being built Shiruba technically had an office now... Yet tended to spend very little time actually in said office. As it was she was sitting outside, watching her pet bun-bun as he gnawed on some of the stray grasses growing up around the building's foundation. Sharp wolven ears hear the cheerful elf girl though, and she looks up to wave in her direction. "Someone is in a good mood!"

Erufu is singing still as she looks over to Shiruba and beams widely at her. "Yes I'm in a good mood, I'm looking for a spot for a project I have in mind we need a Inn or some kind of pump here. Right it be a good way to make money for the alliance..." She pauses looking for a spot near by. "That one might work..."

"Oh, I see." Shiruba gives the bun a pat on the head and stands up. "I believe it's come up a few times Erufu, but there's concerns over being able to keep people safe because, you know, Shibuya doesn't have the 'garunteeded' protections a Root Town does."

Erufu says "Yes, well it could just be for us and the hunters who operate out here right? We need social spots regardless and I might need something if I get a friday night game going." Friday night game? odd thing to say. "We got to live right and a Tavern would have a ready force of fighters hanging around."

Shiruba nods as she folds her hands behind her back. "I didn't say it was a bad idea. I'm just saying it's something to keep in mind when setting up... any business here, really. People are going to have to be ready to deal with any monsters that possibly manage to slip in." Then tilts her head a bit to the side. "Though with the Hunter's Guild here now, there's always someone around. Been organizing some of our town patrols through them so there's something for the adventurers that don't want to stray too far from Shibuya yet to do."

Erufu will sit down on a random barrel near by and she tils he rhead. "Yes and there will be people hwo need a place to sleep. We may get lander merchants and the like coiming in too. Also as for keeping it safe? I'll hire a certain Hunter I know, whose very good at it!" She'll pull some food out of her inventory and says "You want some?" It looks like it's a boxed lunch of some sort. "We'll have to scour any underground here too."

Yeowang emerges from the NWA HQ and takes a look around, heading out into the main square as she takes in the area with a regal gaze that seems to file everything away with a calculating glance.

Shiruba sits down next to the barrel and accepts the offering of food. "Thanks! Sounds like you've already put a lot of thought into this." When Yeowang wanders out of the HQ a bun-bun comes over, sniffs at her feet, and then hops off over to Shiruba and flops down in her lap. "Hello." She waves briefly, then starts scritching the bun behind the ears.

Erufu waves to Yeoaang for a moment "Hey care to join us and want some? It's from Hifumi's place." She notes and will offer the food to both shiruba and the new mysterious arrival that is Yeowang.

Yeowang looks over at the bun-bun, her glance follows it back to Shiruba. She nods in reply to her, and calls out, "Hello." She nods formally, inclining her head, then will head over, to see what's going on. She's new to the Guild and still learning how the game is played at this level. It's more relaxed than she had expected. She smiles to Erufu and will head over and join them. "Thank you."

Shiruba giggles a bit. "Just mentioning it's food from Hifumi is usually enough to get anyone interested. How are you tonight? We were just chatting about other possible additions to the town now that we've got the Hunter's Guild here to help protect it."

Erufu will set down the food for a moment and she grins. "Plotting out something I'd like to do when I get a moment, I'm Erufu. This city is really coming along isn't it?"

Yeowang will accept a bit of food, then. "Thank you." She nods to Erufu about the city coming along. "I see. What are you looking at doing?" she wonders.

Shiruba lets Erufu explain since it's her idea, instead contently munching on her share of the food and petting the pet bun-bun in her lap.

Erufu says "Setting up an tavern with maybe a few inn rooms. My party needs a base of operations anyway right? What's an city for people like us with out a Tavern?"

Yeowang nods thoughtfully about that. "A central tavern with meeting rooms seems like a good idea. A base of operation is what all the guild houses are, right? But if you want one for your small group, that seems reasonable. If you build it with extra rooms, you could make extra gold by renting out space."

Shiruba nods a bit as well. "The smaller groups that get together to tackle Duties and such may not want to all crowd in HQ. Besides, another business means more work for the people that don't want to be adventurers in the field, and more prosperity for the town itself."

Erufu grins at Yeoang's offer and says "Just what I was thinking and if we're at least selling drinks? Or even food too we should be able to make some good money too help keep us going. Aye, there's those who don't want to go out intoi the field and they can still be productive and have a better life than they had before."

Yeowang nods thoughtfully to Shiruba at providing a place for smaller groups. "That'd be a good thing," she agrees. She says to Erufu, "Food and drink will always be in demand. If they don't get it from you, they'll have to get it from someone else. But perhaps you could make use of Hifumi's kitchen and that'd save a bit of effort and give him some business?"

Shiruba mmhmms. "The trip between here and the port isn't that long, but it's still a tough trip even with us patrolling the area for monsters. Most of the traders that do come to us are going to be hungry and tired."

Erufu says "Could do some themed foods too, and bring all sorts of strange exotic foods here from places like Europe!"

Yeowang nods to Shiruba about the hungry traders. "The Landers, as far as I understand, can't taste the difference between menu food and cooked foor. But players can, obviously, so you'd be cooking for players." She is familiar with European food, and agrees, "It'd be simple to do. A lot of traditional foods in Europe were once simple dishes, so shouldn't be too complicated to make. And I understand that we have a lot of westerners in the game, surely some of them can cook." She can't. She's had personal chefs all her life and couldn't cook her way out of a paper bag.

Shiruba waggles a finger in the air. "Just because they don't have a concern for the difference doesn't mean they don't want good food." Then stops shaking it to point at Erufu. "But you've got a good idea. And a menu of items that is a different style from the places already established will help draw in people when word starts to spread."

Erufu mutters something about soggy soda crackers. "That is true, some of it's strange but a of it's pretty good." She thinks for a moment at this. "Good quality is good quality, right? Yeah don't want to bring the ire of someone else on me but i'll need to find someone who can cook..."

Yeowang nods in agreement that having different choices will draw in customers. "This is true, though it's a modern thing. In the medieval times, taverns would have one thing for supper, and your choices were 'take it or leave it.' But I suppose as modern people, we go by modern standards despite the setting." As far as someone who can cook, she says, "That's why I suggested working with Hifumi, at least at first. You can always diversify later, as we find more cooks."

"It's a good place to start," Shiruba agrees. "Hifumi is one of the people who has considered it but was concerned about how safe it would be for workers without root city protections. If you're willing to operate and have people willing to work, he may be willing to help provide you with food and stuff." She leans back against the barrel. "How hard can it be? The Scale Emblem has similar services in their town don't they? And that's up in the Tower! That can't be any less dangerous than the Eastal wilderness!"

Erufu says "I think it can be done, but we'll need to find certain staff but we could do this we should get to it right? If your beoth in on this we could get cooking with it as it were. I'm pretty sure we could get some of my friends in on this as well!" She's wiggling her ears she's happy very happy.

Yeowang nods about Scale's city up in the Tower. "People in real life don't have those Root Town protections," she points out. "Though, you may want to hire some strongarms to keep the peace in case people get out of hand. That's what Scale does." She knows, she checked. "I know a bit about management, but nothing about cooking or the like."

Shiruba scoops up Yojimbo in her hands so the bun-bun doesn't go tumbling off as she stands. "And with the Game Preserve now open, you'll have a conservative supply of meat for dishes. So that's one less supply to have to buy... Of course, we'll have to hunt it ourselves, but that's more fun anyways!"

Erufu says "Aye that would be a good idea, we should be able to find some people but I'd have to put in some level requirements." She muses on this. "Got a lot of things to think about but managment I'll get you in on it if this gets off the ground. I'll have to get some planning done, maybe raise some more coin."

Yeowang nods to Shiruba about the game preserve. "Though it's more like a farm, if you're going to use it to provide food for a restaurant." She nods to Erufu about getting back to her. She yawns, gives a thumbs-up, then bows her head. "I think I need to head to sleep," she says, and will head out.
