Something stinks

Jazuhanzu
Shibuya - Main Square

It has been a while since Jazz has been in anything approaching civilization. She's been on the move, going this way and that, turning over rocks and crawling under bushes.

Unfortunately, she has forgotten a few things in the meantime. They're somewhat unimportant when you're on your own. In other words, she has the 'stinky' debuff.

And she is hunting for Estelle. A brief chim message is sent to her, seeking her whereabouts.
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

The vixen is still looking... disheveled. Her hair and tails are a bit frizzy, her dress isn't as immaculate as it usually is, and she still has a bit of red-eye. But she's found herself a perch near the library as it's raised; the foundations in place, the walls for the first floor coming up into place. The beginnings of a paired staircase in place in the main library. Her tails flick and curl behind her, as her elbows rest on her knees, and there's an... exhausted air around her, really.

Also a distracted one; her gaze may be aimed at the hired work crews down below, as they work at the building like a swarm of ants, but it's obvious her mind and thoughts aren't in the present. Even with the absent answer of 'Watching the library.' sent back over the Chim; finding her on a nearby rooftop is easy, though, since she does stand out when one looks up.

In fairness, Jazz did say she's help with the library and it's probably time she got started anyway. She finds her and her rooftop and stares up at it. How am so to find my way up there? The question is written on her face but she doesn't say it aloud. She then locates a rickety ladder from the workers and climbs up to join her. "Erf, uff..."

She drops to sit down beside her on the roof. She stinks of earth and mud.
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

"... Hey, Jazz." comes a response after a bit - and her exhaustion seeps into her tone. There's no comment on the heavy earthy scent, and the fox doesn't actually look over. "I take it you've been keeping busy?" Her tails flick against the rooftop, curling and swaying around themselves. "... and that you heard about last night." There was a fair deal of chatter about it - and probably some she's missed, as well.
Jazuhanzu
Shibuya - Main Square

"I had the impression I should be concerned," she offers, quiet. She settled her attention on the library.

"You okay?"
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

"... no, not really." The fox shifts, chin resting on woven fingers. "I don't feel... watched anymore, but it lasted for hours. Sleep was... hard to find." She closes her eyes, briefly, and lets out a long breath. "Just... kept seeing that red gaze, every time I closed my eyes. Hateful. Judging. Finding me wanting." She doesn't mention the difficulties with breakfast, either, but it's obvious she didn't have the energy to maintain her usual standards.
Jazuhanzu

"A palantir is a dangerous tool, Saruman," remarks Jazz.

She reaches a hand up and absently scratches the side of her head, pausing to pull a twig out of her hair and toss it aside after a brief inspection.

"We don't have to talk about it," she offers.
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

"... it is a similar thing, isn't it? That not all messages are safe to receive. I just didn't expect it from... that. Just me trying to get a glimpse at the weave of the world. An answer to a question. I didn't... I didn't expect the abyss to be there, gazing back." Estelle's voice is soft, there. "I don't want to be second-guessing everything I try to reach for, in the future, but this is... something of a wake up call. That things out there can strike back over that channel. That casting lots or gazing to the stars opens me up to other things." Her tails and shoulders slump.
Jazuhanzu
Shibuya - Main Square

"Where else would it be?" asks Jazz, rhetorically. She keeps her gaze on the library. "We'll need to make ready for something. Need to figure out how to proceed and protect. Eventually." She pauses, thoughtful. "Don't have a clue how, though."
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

"We'll have to use mundane channels - like research. I don't think there's a being with power like that that could go without a tale of terror or three. Knowing something of her would be... necessary, given how we learned the name." One hand briefly wiggles it fingers. "Maybe you could go ask Mifa? I don't... really have the energy to start a trip that way, right now."
Jazuhanzu
Shibuya - Main Square

"... probably not Mifa, though it's possible. Seems more likely that the fellow I met with Shiroe once might be a better bet, and he's closeish, maybe. Maybe we can ask him." She looks down at the library again and then focused, letting vines help hold a loose piece of timber in place, summoned by her brief effort.
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

"... Why not both?" There's a hint wry tone to the words, as she finally glances over at Jazz, before sliding back to Library. "Oen of them is closer, and the other further out. We could talk the Alliance in trying to find that... Imp, I think you said they were? I remember a mention of traps down there." Her tails flick, lightly, as she settles back in.
Jazuhanzu
Shibuya - Main Square

"Both? Both is good," agrees Jazz. "I mean, it's possible Mifa might know something. But, yes. Traps. Dangerous passages. Tunnels. Probably harder to locate without Shiroe's helping." She leans back on her hands, now. There is dirt under her pointy nails, all of which somehow have managed to maintain their perfection. Must be part of her avatar.
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

"... Not something I want to face, yet." Estelle admits, after the list of things to bypass on the way to the information broker. "I need a bit more time to... recover, really." And she's mostly admitting it because she knows her friends would tie her down if she tried to do anything major in this state. Especially since she's started yawning, the sound human, but mixed with squeaky, vulpine tones.
Jazuhanzu
Shibuya - Main Square

"... yeah, you should," says Jazz to Estelle, firmly, on the ma tter of her 'recovering'. She's definitely eyeballing her. She reaches down and tugs off one of her own shoes, turning it upside down and emptying it of dirt and a little pebble that falls out.

She sighs, puts it back on. "I'll reach out to Mifa. And then we can see about finding Li Gan."
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

"... There's a reason I'm sitting up here, instead of people down there..." The fox defends herself, at that eyeballing. Though she does, at least, lay back against the roof and turn her eyes skyward instead of staring down at the workers. They know what they're doing at this point, and they've got the resources they need to handle it all. "It's just... nerves, at this point. And all the yelling kicking up now and then isn't helping matters."
Pela Clarpuff

There was a smell beginning to waft up from one of the nearby-ish buildings. The unmistakable smell of sweets being baked. Seems that Pela was pretty quick to get that started! She hasn't approached the two yet, of course. It takes a while to make cookies after all.
Jazuhanzu
Shibuya - Main Square

"Yes, well. Even so," says Jazz, warningly, to Estelle. She's just letting her know that she's watching her. Just in case. "If I catch wind of you getting into anything for at least a couple days, I'm going to have to do something drastic. Maybe summon a few ghosts to drag you off for your own good. They're kind of gross, though, so don't make me do that." Speaking of gross, she's positgively filthy. Filthy enough that the smell doesn't quite reach her over her own funk.
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

Pale hands are raised, palm out, in a warding gesture... and then they start moving through onmyodo cuts in an /actual/ warding gesture, though it doesn't trigger any Artes. "...I think Yeowang and Katherine would be right behind you, if they heard about it, given how they acted last night... And I'd prefer vines, if you needed to." There's another yawn, and her hands drop back onto her lap.

... then she changes the subject. "... How's the exploration going? You seem to be... busy at it, lately."
Pela Clarpuff

The smell of baking goods continues... and gets stronger and stronger, with an ominous clinking sound... until... with a brief little burst of air, Pela was now standing on the rooftop, carrying a couple of plates and a pot that is giving off some steam. She was, thankfully, for the moment blissfully unaware of any sort of grossness. Because she has fresh baked cookies. Which she carries over to Estelle, carefully beginning to set things out, a rudimentary teakettle likely bought from a lander, a few simple teacups, and even some simple saucers set out on the rooftop nearby Jazuhanzu and Estelle. She starts doling out two cookies onto three plates, and then pouring cup of some sort of green tea.
Finally, she pulls put a small jar of what looks to be... honey, in case they wanted for the tea. None of the utensils or cups were nice. But one thing was for sure, those cookies were... not plain sugar cookies. They had that slight shine to them of high quality items.
Also they had been drizzled in honey which was then used to hold some chopped bits. Some of the cookies had some sort of wild nut and others had some chopped up dried berries. The cookies gave off a mildly... spicy smell too, a light... ginger? Possibly some cinnamon? "...I had to mask the flavor of the mp restore herbs. ...So they became fancy gingersnap cookies." She murmurs quietly, before settling down into a polite japanese kneeling position. So that she can take a small sip of her tea.
Jazuhanzu

"...gah! Where did you come from?" asks Jazz of Pela, caught off guard by her sudden appearance. Of course, she's used to it, to an extent. Pela is a cat and cats just show up. It's their super power. That and always finding a sun beam to sit in.

"Vines. Noted, Estelle," she offers, without really dwelling on it. She tips her hat for a moment, then takes it off and studies it. The breeze makes her hair float and get in Estelle's face, because it just moves and wafts like that. Her hair needs washing. All of her needs washing.
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

Sudden Pela is also a surprise for Estelle, but it just leaves her blinking tiredly instead of jumping in surprise. Still, as cookies and tea are laid out she pulls herself into a sitting position, while batting away dirty undine hair and tentacles, drawing her legs into a cross. "... She mentioned she was dropping by with a sleep-assisting tea and soup. Faster than I expected." The fox points out to Jazz, before giving a tired bob of her head to the cat sith.

"Thank you, though." She informs said woman, before picking up the ginger snaps to nibble at. There is a twitch of a suppressed yawn in her jaw, though, her breath flowing out to either side of the treat. "I don't see the soup... but the snaps should be fine instead. I have managed to keep food down, today." Her tails flick behind her, and she swallows down half the cookie before finishing off the other half - and then reaches for the tea.
Pela Clarpuff

"...A couple buildings over where I borrowed the oven?" Pela responds to Jazz, giving a helpless shrug. And then the breeze brings it. And she sees it. The filthiness. "...Jazuhanzu, you should use the cleaning function. The ghosts must have gotten something gross on you." Pela comments offhandedly. She was doing her best not to make a big deal of it, just calmly taking another sip of her tea.

"You're welcome. ...I decided tea and cookies might be better than soup. ...Faster to make, too." Pela says with a small nod. "...Unless you want menu soup, which has its place I guess for just basic sustenance." She muses to herself. "..." She pauses. Then suddenly stands up. "...Ah, I almost forgot the most important part of a sweet snack." She starts to do a cute pose with practiced ease, sing-songing, "It... goes best, with a little bit of l o v e~." And at the end she makes a little heart shape with her hands, and a tiny little heart even floats out from it, which pops into harmless illusory magic sparkles over the food. After that moment of cuteness passes, she settles back down into that polite little kneeling position, dipping her own cookie into the tea. The magic did not really improve the flavor.
Jazuhanzu

"Hm? What?" says Jazz. The fact that she stinks has finally been pointed out to her. She takes a moment to study herself. "Mn. I guess I've just been busy. Under brush and climbing through shrubberies and what not." She plucks another twig from her hair and is then left staring at Pela as she does, well...

"...you know, I never did get around to visiting a maid cafe," she muses, aloud, "I wonder if that's why ..." She stares off into the distance for a moment, losing her train of thought.
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

There is, for Pela, a brief feeling of danger. That heart-thundering feeling, hairs rising on the back of her neck, that there is a predatory at hand. But by Estelle's exhaustion, she is saved. The vixen is too tired to pounce and cuddle the wildcat, and so the only physical sign of it all is the swish and curl of those three tails picking up for a little while, the flattening of those ears... and the briefly narrowed, slit-pupil gaze of the taller woman.

... and then it passes, the feeling settling, as her pale fingers grab another cookie to nibble at, as if the illusion did enhance the taste. "... I never got the chance for it, either... Too dangerous, for my condition." It's only once the cookie is swallowed, though, that she answers the other concerns. "And no... this is fine. I have nibbled at things..." A yawn, her teeth flashing. "... over the course of the day. I've taken that much care..."
Pela Clarpuff
Shibuya - Main Square

"...I do that too, yes." Pela responds, sipping gently at her tea again and taking a nibble of her fancy ginger snap, absently watching her own MP bar out of the corner of her eye. Good, the MP restoration effect works. It's not very strong but she wasn't trying to make it strong. No need to give poor Estelle a sudden jolt. "...I personally found them enjoyable to work in, but it might have been because I was the waitress." She murmurs quietly. She takes another little bite of her cookie, finishing it off with an absent little hum.

A brief feeling of danger suddenly raises the hairs on the back of Pela's neck, and she can see it on Estelle's face. That she had considered pouncing her. She calmly sips at her tea, seeming to muse on that. Pela, actually... shifts closet to Estelle, kind of shuffling until she was at a polite distance. But close enough for Estelle to touch her of she so chose. It's a subtle movement, one that Estelle might even notice if she's distracted. "...Good. ...I have some travel bread if you want something nutritious to nibble on." She adds, reaching into her inventory to pull out a small loaf of bread, which she breaks in half so that Estelle can see what was inside of it. Nuts, some sort of dried fruits, and it just generally smelled like some nice semisweet bread. "...It is kind of boring, but keeps well in the inventory and is decently nutritious along with some dried meats." She nods.

The not so subtle exchange between Pela and Estelle in body language isn't noticed by Jazz. Mostly because she was still staring off into space in thoiught. Then she snaps her attention back to Estelle and studies her for a moment. She catches the flattened ears and then reaches over to lay a hand on her side.

"Why don't we get you somewhere that has a comfortable sofa you can nap on?" She offers, after a thought.

...she was distracted from finding the sanitation button.
Estelle

"... Mm. That sort of work requires a certain kind of personality to handle properly, from what I've heard." The vixen notes, as she finishes off another cookie, and then her teacup. The shift in Pela's position isn't consciously noted, given how tired Estelle is, but there's an absent pat of the wildcat's head all the same, pale fingers brushing along her ears. "And you're definitely a kind person, to do this all for someone you've met... twice? Or has it been three times?" Her tone is pensive, there, as she holds her cup out for a refill, the pattern of her tails slowing behind her. The bread is considered briefly, as well.

But there is a light wiggle at the sudden touch to her side, though, and her silver gaze flicks over to Jazz. "... though I guess that is a good point. I just threw... my tent up in a corner of the lot, last night, for all the good it did me." She gives a sigh, that shifts into a yawn - this one she politely covers. "... Finish up the tea and cookies... and then you two can escort me over to the HQ? Make sure I don't fall on my face... Been awhile, since I've done that... haven't had a fit since this all started, after all..." The last is a soft murmur, not really intended to slip free.
Pela Clarpuff
Shibuya - Main Square

"That does sound like a more comfy place to enjoy tea and cookies, for sure." Pela agrees with Jazuhanzu. She pauses, looking at the woman. Hmm. Jazuhanzu seemed distracted. She would have to check in with her later. But right now she didn't have the energy to try to worry about two people at once right now.
"...My friend got me into it. It was my first job and I just... loved it." Pela murmurs quietly, leaning ever so slightly into that pat of her head and gentle brushing. She purrs lightly as she thinks on that comment. "...Once in person, I think? ...But you are a member of my alliance. ...If you need help, and I can provide it.. no reason not to." She does, in fact, refill that cup when it's held out. She falls silent, listening to the exchange between Estelle and Jazuhanzu. She nods. "...Yes, that sounds like a good compromise. Here..." She holds out a cookie towards Jazuhanzu. "Here. Eat. Also wash your hands."
Jazuhanzu
Shibuya - Main Square

Jazz reaches for the cookie, but then she is admonished to wash her hands. So she produces water and washes her hands with it easily enough. She just can't seem to push that button, can she? It's like it's ... too much work to get to it. "Pela is a good persoin," she agrees, informing Estelle. This is high praise from Jazz, who never seems to really praise anyone. She rises to her feet once she has the cookie and then brings vines to knit together and form a step ladder down from the roof.

She begins to walk down them. Clever, right?
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

Purring just gets more petting, and a slightly more relaxed Estelle. It's obvious that the exhaustion is weighing on her, even with her friend and an acquaintance checking in and doing their best. "... really? I thought there was a time we met when you weren't tied up in your Fey Mood..." Still, a long moment after her cup is filled her hand drops away from those ears, the cup gripped in both hands before she takes a sip. There's just a nod at Jazz's mention that Pela is a good person; the fox doesn't need to much more proof of that. "Good purrsons are things you treasure."

No, the fox doesn't seem aware that she slipped that pun in.

Still, with the staircase in evidence, now, she drains her cup before too long and pushes herself to her feet. Her gait is a bit unsteady, but she seems practiced at moving with an impairment - even before the extra balance of her tails enters the picture. She still reaches out for the two, though, to help steady herself. "... now works too, I guess. It would be comfier."
Pela Clarpuff
Shibuya - Main Square

Pela managed to get Jazuhanzu to wash her hands. It was a step. She can accept that. She muses on that quietly, watching her thoughtfully as her ears are petted, purring lightly. "...I try to be." Pela responds to Jazz, carefully beginning to gather stuff back up as Jazz starts to go down off the roof.

"...Maybe there was? My memory isn't perfect. Hmm..." Pela falls silent, thinking on that. "...I can only remember the one time, unfortunately. I'm sorry." She says towards Estelle, giving her a smile. There was a slight concerned edge to it, but that fades quickly enough. She carefully starts to follow after the other two, carefully making the rear. "It would be much more comfy!" She smiles brightly as she looks towards the two, watching them both go down those stairs. She nibbles her lip thoughtfully, but whatever she's thinking on she doesn't comment on.
Jazuhanzu
Shibuya - Main Square

The stairs work well enoiugh, even if they're made of vines. There's some sway to it, but it doesn't appear to bother Jazz any and she awaits the others at the bottom before taking Estelle by the arm and guiding her towards the NWA HQ, quietly. She clearly isn't ... comfortable touching anyone, but it's clear Estelle needs the support and she's granting it.

Even if she still smells.
Estelle
Shibuya - Main Square

"... Might just be me, then." The vixen admits, on the number of meetings, before admitting "... not thinking all too clearly right now." But with the two steadying her, she does make it to the bottom of the stairs, despite the give to the living feature. There's no complaint when her arm is taken, though, despite Jazz's earthy smell. She just lets herself be led along, guided through the streets by the two shorter women, flicking tails occasionally brushing against one or the other. There's actually a bit of overcompensation to her motions, now and then, her tired brain misfiring about having tails these days - and plenty of yawning.

"... Thanks again." She murmurs, her hand finding Jazz's for a brief squeeze. "Both of you. And for worrying. It's... nice, to have people who care again..."
Pela Clarpuff
Shibuya - Main Square

And Pela had a mostly good sense of balance... in this body at least. She watches the interaction between Jazz and Estelle... and just... smiles. That was nice to see.

"...You're actually probably right. Hmm. You're around enough." She muses on that quietly. "It's fine. I don't know that any of us are." Pela gives a small smile. She muses silently for a while as they walk, even as those tails brush against her. She steps a little closer to Estelle, one arm shifting to wrap around her waist. She lightly leans against Estelle, but also to support her with those slightly concerning over-exaggerated movements. "You're welcome. ...Did the MP regen effect help at all?"
Jazuhanzu
Shibuya - Main Square

Jazz, of course, seems blithely unaware. She casually bats at the tail when it swishes against her, though, and keeps Estelle afloat. She pushes towards the headquarters and then proceeds to open the door to usher Estelle inside.

...she is still holding the cookie given to her earlier. She has yet had the opportunity to nomf upon it.
Estelle
Shibuya - NWA Headquarters - Mansion

"... things are a little sharper...?" The fox doesn't sound sure about the MP Regen benefits, but she's still on her feet. Even if that's mostly through the help of her friends, her free arm wrapping around Pela's shoulders. Walking as close as they are, the two are definitely getting brushed by those tails pretty consistently - the unusually frizzy things still soft. Even as they're batted away by the undine. Estelle doesn't need to compensate as much with the support, but there is still the occasional over-compensation.

But then they're into the HQ, and some of the zaisu at a table are a wonderful place for the fox to settle. The table provides ample space for the tea and cookies, and for Jazz and Pela to sit themselves. Even if there's a bit of squirming on the vixen's part, to get her tails out comfortably through the zaisu's back. That she rests her elbows on the table, to brace herself, is of little consequence. "... This is comfier than the roof." She admits after a moment, tired silver eyes watching the two settle in.

Hmm. Jazuhanzu seems worse off than normal, really. When did that happen? Pela quietly steals concerned little glances towards Jazuhanzu when she doesn't think either of the two are watching. Hmmm. Well, they were inside now, at least. Which was warmer and that was good. Someplace comfortable for the fox.

"Sharper is good. ...Your vision was blurring?" Pela asks softly, looking towards Estelle with a slightly concerned look. Maybe they shouldn't have been walking. Hmm. Oh well. At least the tails batting against her was soft, and... the arm around the shoulder, in spite of making her tense for a moment, is fairly comfortable. She carefully walks over to the zaisu with Estelle, and then starts to put things back out now that they were at a safe place for them "It is, yes. And warmer. I'm unsure if we can get sick but the Chilled status effect isn't pleasant." She murmurs as she finishes settling in, her tail swaying a bit once she gets it through comfortably. "...I'm glad I can help in situations like this again." She murmurs absently.

Eventually, Jazz does sit, distractedly. There's a briefly pensive look on her face. Then she ats at the tailk again when it comes her way as econd time. Still, she finally takes a bite from the cookie. Now that they're not outside, she's... more pungent.

"Yeah, don't get sick. That's my advice," she agrees. "Or go hungry. Neither of those things are fun." She consdiers a moment, then turns towards Pela and Estelle once more, lambent, amber eyes focused on the both of them now in turn.
Estelle

"... Thoughts were. Are." Pale fingers waggle a little, their intention and meaning nebulous, in response to the concern about her vision. "... mm. There's probably an illness debuff waiting for us somewhere..." Her tone is distractedly thoughtful, silver eyes blinking down at her fresh teacup. "Too many legends about disease youkai... and other things." Both hands bring it up to sip, tails curling in around the supports of the zaisu's backing. "That, or... something from a wave. New vector of attack. They seem to be growing more... sophisticated, over time."

There's a yawn, cutting off Estelle's sprawling thoughts, and she sets the cup down to nibble at another snap. "Don't want to get sick, no... Don't like being laid out like that..." Her eyes turn up after long moments of Jazz's amber resting on her, blinking languidly at the other woman. "... hm?"
Pela Clarpuff

Ah yes, an enclosed space with someone who hasn't cleaned themselves in a while. Hmm. Pela looks towards Jazuhanzu, then back towards Estelle... before taking a deep breath. "...Jazuhanzu. ...You're... not doing well." She bites her lip. She doesn't know what else to say. She was used to being on the other side of this conversation, and also Jazuhanzu was just... focusing on the two of them. She shifts a bit uncomfortably under the gaze, even seeming to shrink a little under it.

Not that she needed to, to disappear beneath the table... one of the perks of being short?

"...Well I'm glad they're a little better now." She murmurs absently towards Estelle. Once upon a time she might have known what to do now. But that seemed like another lifetime ago. "...There is that disease that the goblins were... are... spreading to the forest..." She muses out loud thoughtfully, frowning. She had fought so hard to try to kill that rot, only for the goblins to spread it. A thought that visibly agitated her for a few moments. Hmm.

"I'n.. what?" says Jazz to Pela, blinking slowly at her. "I'm okay, Pela," she tells her. "Just been a little busy, is all." She combs her fingerws through her voluminous hair, pulling another bit of plant from it and throwing it aside absently.

"You should try to sleep, Estelle," she adds, "the stars will still be here tomorrow. So will we." She picks up her cookie and has another absent-minded bite.
Estelle

"... Oh. I did some work to trim back on that." The vixen murmurs, about Mac Anu. "It was... very rewarding..." Her tail gives an energetic flick, but it's gone the moment after. She just eats another of those cookies, gaze turning back to her teacup once Jazz breaks eye contact with her. "But... Mmm. Yeah. I probably should try to sleep soon." She makes no move to get up, though, and just drains the last of this cup of tea. The cup is set down, and her elbows rest on the table, her chin on woven fingers. Her ears have drooped a little, as she just looks between the two.

After a moment, she decides to concur with Pela; "... you should clean up."

"...I..." Pela frowns a bit, shifting awkwardly in place. "...Something's wrong. ...Not psychic, so I don't know what but." She pauses. "...Just... mmm. ...I don't know. ...I... know I only... neglected like that when I was..." She trails off, frowning with a hesitant look on her face. "...It doesn't seem like you're taking care of yourself. Yes. That's it." She nods. "I'm worried."

That last comment does get an agreeing nod from Pela. "...Yeah. ...Both of those things will be."

Pela shifts over towards Estelle again, possibly slipping out of her 'spot' to do so, providing a warm thing by Estelle's side. "...It was? ...That's good, I think." She murmurs absently to herself, half-curling against Estelle's side. "Warm..." The tea, lacking anything else to filter or whatnot, did have tea leaves in the bottom. Just a little though, since most of the leaves were in the kettle itself.

"... It just seems kind of pointless when I'm out there. I guess I should have hit the sanitation button before I got here but it was less important." She pauses a moment. The reason she came is r ight in the room, after all, and she was worried about her!

It's adorable. Just like the rest of her. Presimablyy. She looks at Estelle and Pela, though, then nods slightly and leans back in her chair. "I'll clean up." She still hasn't, though.
Estelle

Half-lidded silver eyes watch Jazz closely, as she talks like that. But the vixen is too tired to look at it all and realize the lie in it. Or that she was why Jazz rushed so much. So she just sighs again, ears drooping. "... Mmm. Found an Enigma piece. Have plans. No idea if they'll work.... but the attempt needs to be made..." Estelle's voice is soft, as she answers. And when a warm weight curls against her side her eyes close, some of the tension seeping out of her.

This does leave Pela trapped in astral floof, though, as a tail curls around her. And the vixen's breathing just... eases out, with the assurance that they're both there and will be there, exhaustion and hypnotics overcoming the flashes of red eyes still lingering in her mind, the worry stewing in her gut. A soft, rumbling purr works through her - even as her elbows start to slide, in her dozing, slowly lowering towards the table and her back bending.

"I... that's... that's not really the problem. ...But it's... it's a start." Pela says with a soft sigh. "...Jazuhanzu... I care about you... I don't care what you smell like. I can ignore that, I just..." Pela takes a deep breath. "...I'm just worried... we can talk more later." Pela murmurs, shifting a little more against Estelle when that tail wraps around her.

Oh the floof. The floof is too powerful and Pela was still tired. Her eyes were threatening to droop now, and... they start to. And Pela starts to lean more against Estelle, her arms wrapping lightly around her waist as she drifts off in the floof, worries drowned out by fox rumbly purrs.

Honestly, seeing that just makes Jazz seem to think mission accomplished. She gets to her feet, intending to slink away. She moves closer first in this process, intending to give her a pat and offer Pela a comforting look.

It's about this time that her plan to depart is thwartwed by one of Estelle's tails. Which has looped around her quite terribly.

"Oh," says Jazz.

The tired vixen's grip is insidious; that soft floof has curled around Jazz's waist, hugging her close, and an arm follows in short order, hooking around her shoulders and trying to pull her in against Estelle's side - even as her chin rests on the table beside her empty plate, the other arm lightly curled atop its surface. Pela, after all, is happily snuggled in against the Astrologian's side. The sole unoccupied tail flicks gently behind her, as the disturbed diviner finally gets some rest.

Jazz is ... uncomfortable with this. After a moment of frustrated struggle, she gives up and winds up sitting on the other side of Estelle with a somewhat beleaguered and put upon expression.

Eventually, she drifts off herself.

How can she not?
