When Things Go Wrong

    Setsuna was trying to figure out where the Vampire nest was, only to realize they are moving to another location, along with anyone they manage to capture.

With two merchant blades he would set out, but along the way, he looses not only the trail, but any clues of where the vampire teens had gone. Worse of all, he lost the merchant blades that were with him.

Now the Necromancer would find himself in the dense fog, with the ocean toward the north, and lack of any sound of wildlife around him. There was also an odd chill in the air...

    Setsuna was one of those people who made his own firneds, and company, which is why he rides along his dire wolf mount, slowly with the knight walking on the side. This fog was annoying and Setsuna lets it be known with a growl as he turns one way then another. "Damn fog. I swear to whoever that this is their doing." He swivels his mount ot the left and then the right and then looks at Knight. "Cimb on or your walking home. " It appears Setsuna has decided to just randomally ride off in a that way direction and is only waiting for the knight to get on before he does. He had a white whale to find after all and no fog was going to stop him.

    As Setsuna rides along, he would at last hear the sound of something 'heavy'. Metal moving in the distance. The fog can be seen moving lightly, and for the briefest of moments, he would catch sight of something large in the fog.

An armored being he probably has not seen in some time and the very thing that turned an adventurer pvper into an undead; The Harbinger.

    It was not aware of his presence yet and it seem to be patrolling. Though he would hear a whisper to his left, "hey... hey you!" the voice would call over. "... get over here before it finds you..!"

Setsuna would find that the individual calling him over was one of the members of the Peko Army, though his peko was no where to be seen.

    Setsuna would pull his wolf to astop and as it makes noise due to the suddenness but Setsuna reaches forward and does his best to shut it's mouth. "Hush!" He says with force of a command and at the same time only a whisper. Pulling his mount he is about to change his direction when he hears the voice and finds the Army member. A confused look is on his face as he approaches slowly ready to kick the wolf into a run. " What are you doing here? Where is your mount? Why the hell are you making noise?"

    ".. why the hell are you standing out in the open... get behind this rock before he comes back around..." The Peko Army member says motioning to Setsuna.

Though there was a shift in the fog, as the outline of the massive armored figure could be seen moving, seeming to be slowly move to look directly in that direction.

".. shhi.." The guy says as he ducks down low.

    Setsuna looks at the man as he pulls his mount closer to the guy , " Come on. Get on and hold on to the knight we are getting out of here." Turning he sees the armored figured turning and curses as well as he lays low on the wolf and tells the wolf to lay down. They don't move for a moment before he turns his head back to the army man, and Setsuna keeps trying to motion with his eyes to get on. The necromancer was already ready to have the knight grab him. Glaring heavy he looks sternly as if to shout, "HURRY UP!"

    "I am not going anywhere... as I am here to scout..." He tries to explain, but alas, Setsuna will not have any of that and so when he shouts, only thing the Amy lander has to say is, "... Ballocks." Before he goes to pull out a whistle and blows it.

Its about then does a Peko come charging out of the fog, just also as the armored figure goes to move toward the two of them. The army gets up on the Peko and motions to Setsuna, "This way!" Seeming to know exactly where to go.

It was easy for the two of them to out run The Harbinger, only for the Harbinger to suddenly appear out of the ground before them and swings the massive Halbred in attempt to catch them both.

The Army member manages to get his Peko to leap over it and keeps on going, "Quickly! We are only four-five hours out from one of their fortifications! If he calls for back up...!"

    Setsuna throws up a shield to block the harbinger's halberd long enough for him to move out of the way, " Wait! You know where one of their fortifications our?" Setsuna shouts out as he follows behind the scout. This was obviously the best move he could of made, yep no regrets anywhere here or guilt or anything like that. Looking over his shoulder he then looks at the scout. " I could try to stop him if you need time to get away!." He was at least kinda sorta immortal.

    Once more the Harbinger comes and once more the Peko Rider avoids with skill that their army is known for. "We been monitoring them and their activities." He explains as they keep on trying to get away. "We just can't make a move, because there isn't enough of us and /far/ to many of them."

He yanks on the reigns and makes a hard right, as the bird leaps over a fallen tree. "Just a little further! Keep going!" He yells back to Setsuna, not seeing to take the offer for him to stay back, but rather seem to be encouraging him to keep up.

    Setsuna keeps driving the wolf forward at the suggestion to keep following. " How much...." He stops as the rips for a shield made of bone and dark energy from the ground as it catches the Halberd , floating in the air for a moment before disappearing as Setsuna rides out of range. " A little further better be sooner then later." Setsuna yells before kicking harder and shouting for the wolf to ride faster. Poor thing hadn't been pushed like this before.

    The two continue to move, till they at last break out of the fog. The Peko rider pulls on his reigns to bring the fast bird to a stop, "There!" He says with a grin. "The big metal beastie won't follow us over here. There are days this isn't only clear, but given patrol path it was taking, this wasn't in their interest of claim... For now."

He pats the birds neck gently. "Though you really should take care when getting so close to the territory, as I said, their fort is no joke, my friend. It is large in size with a wall. They also have several torches they can light as signals... Though to signal what, I do not know."

    Setsuna looks back towards the fog as he rides out of it and pulls his wolf to a stop. Letting his mount rest for a moment he looks over at the Peko rider for a moment finally stopping to get a good look at the guy. " I didn't realize I was so close to their forts. I actually never really knew where there forts were. I was looking for a vampire nest, some hole in the ground or shack or something with a pack of vampires in it. Then I was going to light it on fire and run." That was his plan , no reason to hide it. Looking back at the fog again he sighs as he learns new things that feels like he should of known all this.

    "I think one group may have made a report on the fort, but I think it has gone through even further construction since then." The Lander admits as he continues to comfort his bird mount.

"We haven't been able to get close to it since though. More patrols, some are even undead lizardmen, orcs, and goblins. Been reports of undead spiders as well." The man sighs softly. "They seem to just patrol, capture people, and use them for labor... or food."

    The man then shakes his head as he pulls on the reigns to get the Peko ready to move again. "More than likely, the vampires you were hunting are just such group who are capturing and bringing them back to be sorted." His brows furrow. "What worries me is they just... seem to be biding their time, you know?"

He then looks to Setsuna. "Biding it for what, I or no one is sure, but they seem to be just... gaining more, rebuilding, and... waiting." His jaw clenches a little. "Mark my word, good sir. There is something being planned... and it won't be good for any of us."

    Setsuna looks at the man at the mention off the monsters being caught up to. " That is new as well. " There is a hint of guilt in his voice as he listens to the man before he shakes his head. Taking a moment he considers this and then looks back at the fog. " Well at least todday nothing else is going to come and get us. Sorry for ruining your scout mission. " In some crazy part of the back of Setsuna's mind he considers riding back in to the fog and just doing whatever damage he could before his hp hit 0. In some crazy part of his head at least.

    Setsuna looks back at the scout and adds, " Any other reports of there movement, can you forward them to the Scale Emblem Alliance HQ. Address it to the idiot with a skeleton, so it gets to me. " Setsuna was tired of finding things out when they were to late.
