Miho has a idea

Miho has been busy she's had ideas. She's been hitting up other crafters in the guild or even those just lurking at the growing small town the alliance has made. She's got ideas after all she's scoping out prices on various items and materials she'll need she's distracted going over a list and might just run into someone or something with how distracted she is.

Shiruba on the other hand is making her way through the town towards the Alliance HQ to check in before she heads back over to Ninetails to return to training with her Patron. Busy busy wolfgirl as usual, and not just with Guild Leader things. Though that was what she was going to go check up on. Things weren't going to run themselves, and it was nice to not have a paperwork cluttering the desk for when she came back.

Miho wanders along and then wham right face first into shiruba, the smole Salmander woman slam into Shiruba and goes spawling to the ground with a cry.

One of the town patrols happens to pass on the other side of the street and call to Shiruba in greeting. The wolfgirl turns to wave... and right when she's not looking ahead is when Miho comes around the corner and right into her. With a yelp Shiruba stumbles, but manages to keep on her feet. "Oof!.. Miho? You okay?" Once she's stable she reachs over to offer the smolamander a helping hand up.

Miho is dazed but accept her friend's hand as she riaes back up. "I should have watched where I was going... I was thinking on a project. I got an idea that's going to ruin the undead's day if I can pull it off."

"Funny you should mention undead... well, not really funny, because it's the undead, but considering I've have a few encounters even away from Ninetails." Shiruba perks an ear in much the same way any other curious canine would. "But you've got my interest do go on."

Miho says "Yes it is the undead, that are on my mind. There are landers who are strong enough to fight most of them. After all the Kingdoms have their elite fighters and people like the Goblin Slayer exist right? I'm thinking of forging a set of holy weapon to give to Ninetails, to use as they see fit against the undead."

"How do you plan on making them holy?" Kaydon had apparently been within earshot, the were fang drinking from a mug and watching Miho and Shiruba. He probably could have warned them that they were abotu to run into each other...But that was more fun.

At the mention of Landers being strong enough to fight Shiruba absently rubs her upper arm. "No kidding. That panda hits hard for an old man. And Goblin Slayer. An--" Cue the interruption. "--Oh, hello Kaydon. That is a good question." Her tail gives a thoughtful flick as she draws Thundersnow Howl. "I mean we made it work for my longbow, but it took several elemental fragments and that blessed water to purify the metal. I don't know if Light magic can be found in a similar form."

Miho says "Find a Paladin sort or enchanter to help bless them but also usiung light aligned ore for the metal would be an idea maybe we could get a priest of some sort to bless them. So what's up forger of KAR-BARs? We can figure it out. What I'd not give for a actual shrine maiden right now..."

"Truthfully I have no idea how the magic stuff actually works." Kaydon replies, as he finishes off his mug and then tosses it back into his inventory for the moment, "But I can always help with the weapon forging itself. Though I'm not sure how much help I'll actually be, I'm going to be starting my own major project soon and it's going to require a lot of my damascus steel."

Shiruba taps her chin. "That could work, if there's a type of ore or alloy that resonates with Light energy. But I'm a geographer, not a geologist, you've got me on what or where." She unequips her magic bow and returns it to her inventory. "What are you going to make now? An even bigger sword?"

"Yeah I have issues with the whole magic thing save for breathing fire and some sword arts." She grins at this, she seems to like BREATHING FIRE. She wil wag her tail a bit. "Once I know what I need I'll hit you up for help and I understand Kaydon. So damascus steel? Pretty impressive honestly far better than my ancestors had to work with let me tell you that. Then again it made them get creative."

"You know I thought about making a big fuck-off axe and calling it the Killotine, but I decided to make something a little more managable instead."

"Gonna make a gauntlet, and then integrate weapons into it. Not so sure about being able to enchant it..But we'll see how it goes."

"Ooooh." Shiruba nods her head. "So a weapon that's not necessarily noticable as a weapon until you deploy the built in weapon."

Miho thinks for a moment "I heard about a weapon in Fragment that was kinda like that not that I was old enough my sister told me about it." She beams. "So basiclaly a punch dagger tyhpe deal?"

"I guess it'd be kinda similar to that." Kaydon replies, "I'm thinking a weapon that can deploy out of the back of the gauntlet and the has something behind it that can brace it." He makes a motion with his hands to try to demonstrate what he means, "But also I'm thinking of figuring out a way to put a crossbow and maybe an assension line on it.."

Miho says "Oh like the grapple line, that Batman used in the animated series right? Ha it could actually work in the world like this. Might need to find someone who could help with that. I say go for it and if you need help I'll try while I can and I should stop staning around and get back to work...."

Shiruba nods. "Well, start with one thing and work your way up I suppose." She skips past and heads on her way again. "If you'll excuse me, I need to go check on stuff at HQ before I head back to my training. See you later!"

"Yeah you're right, Miho. I need to find an engineer to help me with the specifics.." He hmms, "But I'm sure there'll be plenty of folks who'll want to help, but it's unlikely I'll be able to make a ton of these.." He rubs his muzzle for a second, "Let me know if you need help with the metalworking part of your holy weapons, though. I'd be glad to chip in."

Miho says "I will Kaydon and see you both later!" With a tail swish she's on her way.
