WARDROBE!

*BRRNG* A gust of air and a brief shimmer of the last vestiges of the evening's light slip inside the door, followed closely by a green-haired salamander. He stands near the door for a moment as it closes with another soft tinkling, then looks around sheepishly, examining some of the fine garments on display.

And oh... em... gee... what is he wearing?

Michio stands there in a martial artist's gi whose durability is flashing red, even without inspecting it. A good solid sneeze looks like it'd send the thing into pixels and leave him in his birthday suit. It /might/ have been white, back when The Apocalypse happened, but since then it looks like both gi and its occupant were at some point, or several points, run over by a stampede of grunties.

The garment is worn, threadbare, and road-stained greyish-brown.

Whoever could help this poorly wanderer?

There are all sorts of outtis and even mundane things. Such as modern style undergarmens and socks. Those last two have eben very big sellers for Gwen given they look fairly picked over. Gwen would look up from the counter beaming. She's also in a french maid style outfit too.

"Welcome how can ... I ... Oh good god."

This was beyond even some of her friend this man had come to the right place. "Let me guiess you need some clothing?"

"Oh, uh..." Michio uncomfortably rubs the back of his neck, "I was just wondering if you could do, like, some minor repairs, maybe? Like sew on a couple patches, y'know?"

Looking around the shop again, the salamander gulps, then chews softly on his lower lip with a pronounced fang. "If... it wouldn't be too much trouble?" A pause, "Oh, I can pay, of course!"

Gwen looks at the man for a moment "Repairs? Your clothing looks like it's fit to become rags I think you would do with some new clothing. I have an array of cltohing for a wide array of budgets!" She is like a predator for half a second she just getting ideas now for Michio..

"Oh, uh... I wouldn't want to be a burden. Besides, I do a lot of fighting in these..." Michio objects, "And I have a very fast and loose style. Plus.. these..." Here the salamander points to his elbow and knee spines that protrude out, apparently something he uses in his fighting style.

Gwen says "Armor is one thing, clothing is another. If you equip via the menu it adjusts for tails , things like that." She then points to the wings on her back. "Or these. So that shouldn't be a problem, I'd go mad without the menu honestly." It would give her mother to get her into something far more JRPG armor bikini if it didn't exist. She'll come out from behind the counter and move to start lookinc michio over.

"But..." Michio sighs resigned, "I just need a new gi or something."

"Oh, and by the way, I think I'm supposed to tell you Uta sent me. She made a big deal about shopping here during our duelist league match."

Michio raises his voice to do his best impression of Uta, "For the best deal in town, go to Chainmail Bikini Plus One!" then makes a karate chop motion.

Gwen says "A gi I can do that but I do not have any ready to go at the moment. Oh Uta sent you that dear!" She'll have to do something nice for Uta later for this. "She's doing advertising for ..." Gwen is beaming at this for a moment. She seems a bit distracted!

Michio nods slowly, "Yeah, I sort of got that impression. She didn't mention why, but uh, she looked... um..." Here the salamander actually blushes deep scarlet, even his hand and feet scales seem to take a slightly more pinkish tinge from their usual green. "Well, it's clear that you are talented." The man frowns, "Truth be told, with Alliance matters being what they are, I guess it wouldn't hurt for me to have something appropriate for meeting people in." The Ki Master looks nervous even mentioning such things, "But really, just simple garb. I'm a wanderer and a monk, of sorts. I do some healing and such when I go to towns. I don't want people to think I am not approachable."

Gwen thinks for a moment and ius already going over things in her head. "Yeah potlics ruins everything I find." She will end up lookin over Michio for a moment "Do you want anything on the Gi?"

"On?" Michio frowns at Gwen, "Like... bows?"

This poor salamander, and his player in Japan, are clearly completely clothing inept. "I guess a belt would be good to tie around the middle? I don't think I need one of those headbands though, I always think they're a bit pretentious."

Gwen looks at Michio and shakes her head. "Guild symbol, coat of arms, school symbol. That sort of thing. You seen how like Goku has the Turtle School symbol on the back of his gi, right That's what I mean. I can do that and no Ryu style got it."

"Oh!" Michio looks thoughtful, "Actually, I'm considering opening a dojo and healing center called 'Equilibrium Academy'. I hadn't really thought of a symbol though. Maybe like, scales or something, for balance?" He looks sheepish, "I thought about the yin and yang, but that seemed so astoundingly cliche. Do you have any suggestions?"

Gwen says "I can always add something later or make a new one once you have made up your mind. Honestly it is classic and cliche for a reason is it not? It's also easy for people to grasp what it means. Even foringers would be likely to get that symbol pretty quick too."

"Well..." the Salamander thinks, "What if the colors were purple and violet, for the yin and yang, instead of the traditional black and white? That would at least switch it up a bit. Sort of like the colors of dark and healing magics in this world."

After a moment, Michio shrugs, "I guess something like that on the back would be okay, if you think it would look good."

Gwen says "Those colours would blurr a but have you consider replacing the black with one of them and leave the other white? Just a thought but if you want that I'll do it..."

Looking down at his green hands, Michio looks thoughtful for a moment, then shrugs, "I'm still not real sure about the yin and yang. Maybe the kanji kenkou (the power of balance, equilibrium)?"

The salamander realizes what he's doing, "Or... just plain white would be fine too!" and he bows with an apologetic expression on his face.

Gwen says "I think the kanji would work better. Just make sure you do it up how you want it!" She has a slate out and she's making notes on it now. "Don't worry about it I should have it done in a few days."

Bowing again, Michio asks, "And do I owe you a deposit for the work? Here, I'll friend you, and you can send me a chimlink when it's done. I might be out of town, but I will make all haste back if I can." Then he looks to consider, "And please, over the chest.." He places his right hand approximately over his heart, "The symbols for Moon Tree and New World Alliance. Whatever colors you think appropriate."

Gwen says "Pay on delivery. If someone welshes on things I sell it or scrap it. Half up front and half on delivery normally." She do the friend invite then humm for a moment "Right, I best get to work on it and a few other orders. You have a great day and thank you for your businss."

Michio mutters many 'Thank yous' as he makes his way out the door, backing up, bowing his gratitude as he goes, until finally the bell chimes its closing and marking him gone.
