Look what I got!

That last Dungeon was a doozy, well, it might have helped if the healer wasn't scared of her own shadow, and if the DPS didnt stop grand standing, but they got to the end of it, and with that Allynna, the Bun-bun tank, has a new toy. Looking at it as she stands outside the NWA holding a shield that looks like it was just polished. "This... is soo freaking cool!" She says as the amazonian Bun-bun looks like she can barely contain herself.

    Merek seems to be about doing his work, he doesn't look that much different from when Allynna saw him before, with his dark attire and a beltcape, although he wears a hood up while he has thick stubble, taking a look to the bunny while he will take the time to walk to the woman to take a look at that shield.

A turn of the head and Allynna is looking at merek with a huge grin. "MEREK! Lookit!" She then takes the shield and weilds it, normal right, then a click is heard, and it splits into two shields. "SUPER DOUBLE SHIELDS!" She says with all the giddyness of a kid on christmas. "Wait wait... guess what the next thing it does!" She says as she hops from one foot to the other. "Guess.. guess!"

    Merek looks to the shields, a bit perplexed about it. He then nods to Allynna, "Well, I don't know. It makes a weapon?" he asks, then he takes a look about the place, and nods to a few workers that nod to him while he takes the time to begin checking the street lamp next to him, while he begins to replace the magical chemical.

Yeowang returns to Shibuya after her recent training exercise and a dungeon crawl of her own. She's considering a late supper when the giddy voice of a tank is heard in the square, and she will head over to see what's up.

Allynna smiles as she takes a step back. "Okay you ready? This is so cool!" She says, and another click is heard as both shields have extended blades, that begin to rotate around the eldge of the shields like saw blades. "I GOT CHAINSAW SHIELDS!" She says with the most estatic voice she can manage.

    Merek looks to the chainsaw shield while he thinks about it. "Why can't my relics do all that," the man muses, while he takes the time to inspect it. Then he walks up to Allynna, "Well. That's... You used it in a fight yet?" he asks, the man taking the time to look and will notice Yeowang about, waving the woman to come by with them, then he's nodding a little bit, "Well, all I got is this leather strap."

    Mizuki is just passing by when she hears someone shout about CHAINSAW SHIELDS and how can you not investigate that?

    She stares when she gets close enough to see them clearly though. "What... I don't think I've seen this kind of mechanical device in Yamato before... Where did you find chainsaw shields???" She smiles a bit, just from the bunny's joy being a tad infectious.

Yeowang looks impressed at the chainsaw shield, "That's very interesting. You're a tank then? You should get along well with Giganpor," she predicts. "He's quite a well-known armor smith, he will be quick to tell you." Nodding to Merek, she says, "I hope business is treating you well?"

"Some random boss drop, I didnt even know that cave was an actual dungeon entrance. Then this baby dropped." Allyna says as she puts the two halves back together and slips the shield over her back. "I don't even need a sword anymore." She says as she looks to her hip to see her arming sword. "Armor smith? I would not mind some new armor... My comon armor is getting rather old actualy." She then pats Merek on the back. "Well, next time you come with me and we'll get you a shiney or two."

Erufu has been making sure her Inn is doing okay. The good news is the Green Dragon was doing good, the person she hired to manage it while she's been away is doing a good job of it. Elf was now making her way towards the HQ when she caught side ot Merek and a few others. She waves calling out as she does so.

"Hey Merek! Yeowang! Who are you two new friends?" THe pooka's ears as wiggling a bit as she bounds over to the group.

Yeowang hrms, but nods. "If it suits your fighting style, then it's good loot. Many drops are less directly useful, and must be processed, forged, or enchanted somehow." But she adds, "I just completed a dungeon, though, and it was a large bag of gold. Cash is almost always useful." The moreso for her, of course. She smiles to Erufu as she calls out, and replies, "Hello to you also, it seems you're doing well?"

    Merek looks then to Erufu, "Ah, we are friends way before the Wave," the man notes to the woman, then he nods to Yeowang, while he thinks about it. Then he takes a look to Allynna, "Well, it's good you are finding things you like. Ya, we'll try a dungeon sometime." The man offers a hand although then he takes a look at the hand and pulls that back, "Ah, maybe we shouldn't really shake the hands." A few people will know about why.

Allynna smiles to those Gathered, flourishing her long coat. "I'm Allynna, Raid Tank, and Songstress Bun of Silver Sword." She says and takes a bow. "I also have a chainsaw shield..." She says, very happy about her new equipment that's currently resting on her back.

    "Friends from before the Apocalypse?!" Mizuki's eyes widen. "Wow, lucky. The only person I know in here from before is an e-mail pal..." She rubs the back of her head awkwardly. "...Who I actually haven't seen since shortly after the Apocalypse. He was acting awkward, and I just never got the chance to ask him why..."

Yeowang hrms about friends before the apocalypse. "You know more about the gaming than I do, then, if you've been around that long," she declares. She's a noob, pretty much in every sense. Except at /actual fighting/, where she's got a stack of black belts and a room full of trophies /back in the real world/. Not here. The game can't keep up with her, here, sometimes, which is frustrating. "Yes," she agrees, "a dungeon sounds good. The world needs more tanks, I think. We've only got a few."

    "We were in the same Guild," Merek will note to Mizuki, "In Fragment. Then we knew each other away from the game a little bit," nodding a little bit to the woman, then he will take a look to everyone else, "Anyway." To Yeowang, "I am here to make deals with the trade company of mine and hire workers for that project."

The sound of Peko feet on the ground can be heard passing outside, and a few minutes later Shiruba walks into the HQ after making sure her mount is properlly tethered and fed. "We probably should look at getting proper stables established at some point," she muses to herself. Then ohs softly. "Didn't realize there was already a gathering here." Granted, it's the Alliance HQ, there's usually one or two groups about working on various things.

Allynna nods. "Yep, Gourmet Catastrophe! All because I made a joke about a crunchy sandwich." She says as she looks down at Merek. "But yeah, it does help that I know SOMEONE that i met before being stuck here." She says as she reaches inside her coat and takes out a lute, strumming it abit. "I like to think I'm a fair tank, so if you need one, just send for me. Remember, I got chainsaw shields now." She says with a smile.

Yeowang nods to Merek about hiring workers. "The same for me, we need laborers and people to work the farms. It's complicated and risky, of course, though the seed money should help get a lot started." Say what you like about her, she seems to know her way around business operations.

She turns, bows to Shiruba. She smirks, there's probably not often so many relatively high ranking guild members around, anyway. Well, Merek's pretty senior, anyhow, and so is Mizuki. She hasn't been here as long as they have, but she takes part in the same content, so she'll place herself in the same group. She's not sure about Erufu, to be honest, but she seems like a pretty experienced gamer also. A quick inspect of Allyanna shows she's where Yeowang was a couple months ago when she started doing the main content with the Alliance, and if she's an experienced gamer, she probably knows more than Yeowang. So, that counts as a senior showing.

    Merek will take the time to look to everyone and nod a little bit, "We will do what we can," the man notes, then he takes the time to adjust his gloves while he thinks about it. "Anyway. We can probably try to bring you with us to the Palace Lands if you would like. We need to only bring you on the boat," he will admit, in thought, looking about the place while he watches the people.

Allynna nods and pats her chest. "So long as there's a chance for more loot, I'm game, the better my gear, the less damage i need to take... just remember to bring a poncho, the first five feet around me are a splash zone." She says with a giggle at her dark joke.

Shiruba returns Yeowang's polite bow with a polite bow of her own. There is a lot of senior players in the room, she's just the one that has some actual rank in the Alliance. But she's usually too modest to make a big deal out of it unless she has to throw her weight into a serious situation.

Then she tilts her head at the rest of the conversation going on. "... chainsaw shield?..."

Erufu looks to Yeowang. "It's going pretty well I was hoping to catch up with friend form the guild and a farmer I know." She seems to be in good mood. "Oh an old friend of Merek? It will be good to have someone else to heop keep him alive."

The elf will have no idea why about not shaking hands with Merek is a good idea. The ranger just stares at Allyna in confusion.

"What's a chainsaw?"

Yeowang nods at what Merek says, "I'll ride back to the Palace Lands with anyone making their first trip," she agrees, smirking at a chance for more loot. "Always a consideration." She's cool with Shiruba not throwing her weight around, it's not needed, most of the time. Cat herding skill is probably more useful.

Erufu's mention of a farmer makes her smile, and she says, "Oh, we could definitely use a skilled farmer on our Seeker's Landing farm project," she agrees. But wait, "How do you not know what a chainsaw is?" She inspects again, Erufu's a player, right? Oh, right, she's a /role/ player. This confuses Yeowang so much.

"Observe." Allynna says as she places the massive shield on her right arm, and then with a click, it splits into two shields, one one each arm. "Now, a chain saw is somthing used to cut trees faster... or mow down zombies and goblins." She says as a final click has blades comming out of both shields and they spin around the edge. "Wood elementals and zombies and goblins beware... I'm comming for you!" She says with a giggle.

Whoever Elf was before this damn well knew what a chainsaw was but her new identity would have no idea so as always she stayed in character. She looks at the thing as its deployed and just stares at it. She hears what Allynna will want to do with it.

"Oh that would be very good against Goblins, Goblin Slayer might be curious about that."

She muses it wasn't fire, explosions or poison.

"Oh forgive me I'm Erufu and high elf from far beyond the shores of Yamato."

"I'd have to talk to her and her uncle if they did. I'd been meaning to see if they would sell cheese and a few other things to my Inn."

Shiruba takes a step back when Allynna splits the shield in half and deploys the sawblades. "Whoa! That's pretty impressive. A defense with a good offensive edge... So to speak. Wherever did you find such a thing?" That's clearly not stock weaponry or gear by any means.

She on the other hand is use to people like Elf and just snickers a bit at the dedicated roleplay... though is it even roleplay at this point? She herself was more Shiruba than anyone she had been before by this point.

    Merek looks to the chainsaw shield while he takes the time to look to Shiruba, waving to the woman. "Hey, it's nice to see you," he notes, then he nods a bit. "I am thinking with Data Drain, I can finally take on that Harvester that is making the undead."

Yeowang looks pretty impressed at Allynna's shields. She's not a shieldy person, herself, so it's kind of alien to her. But she understands about cutting trees, and can imagine how useful that'd be against enemies. She nods to Erufu about asking her farmer friend if she'd help, and says, "I'd be very grateful. Prophylaxis gave me a contact, and I sent a message, but no reply yet, or commitment."

Like Shiruba, she can say she's roleplaying as herself, but is that really roleplaying? She's one of those direct people who always say what they mean and mean what they say, with almost no subterfuge. Except for /him/, and if he's even in game, he'd be on the Korean server, not here.

    Merek looks along to everyone and will nod a little bit, while he thinks about it, "Anyway, we are doing what we can," he will note, "I plan to bring street lamps to the Seeker's Landing, when I can," the man will admit.

    'What's a chainsaw'? Mizuki looks at Erufu suspiciously. She hasn't talked anyone dedicated to acting like they're from this world in awhile... A lot of things are talked about, something finally piqueing her curiousity again! "Just what *IS* Data Drain, anyway, Merek?"

    She's not... roleplaying herself, exactly.

    Sam was kind of a loser. Overweight, sitting in front of the computer all day, with no real interest in anything in the real world. He didn't really have a roleplaying persona. Mycroft Hellfire wasn't a character so much as... the dream that Sam could have great adventures and save people and contribute to a party and stuff. Sure, he helped people by being an IT guy and fixing their computers in real life, but... that's not really the same as being in a party, is it?

    And then, a few days before the apocalypse... he decided to try something different... that maybe it would be fun to play something cute and not too serious... And then he got trapped in the game world, and suddenly the game world really MATTERS, and so do her skills as a ninja. It's kinda what he wanted from the game in the first place, the fantasy of mattering, but... it's all... messed up.

    ALSO. Data Drain, and whatever happened in Fragment... it feels kind of like she was a background chaarcter in an anime all her life and now she's getting a glimpse of the plot. What IS Data Drain?

Shiruba nods to Merek. "At the very least you might get us more information on how to deal with that thing... It's the biggest threat to us in the Forgotten army since it can potentially afflict Adventurers." When he mentions the light she hrrns. "... But only to Seeker's Landing. Remember, we don't want to overload the native customs... but the lights would certainly make nocturnal guard watches easier..."

It could be just how Elf is coping with thing but other than her idenity as an elf she seems perfectly fine. She's also one of the bigger people for chilling out with the natives of Yamato and other lands. "Well if it isn't the best Cait Sith Ranger in Yamato."

She grins at Shiruba happy to see her friend.

"Prophylaxis..."

The Archer does not like the man at all from the tone of he voice.

"Such things are best for only our settlments It could be useful for being on watch. The monsters near it are vicous."

She look to Mizuki for a moment then shrugged.

Allynna smiules as she looks to the people gathered, having picked up her lute again, with a few soft strums on it.

While the tall bun is all smiles and bravado, Rurako Doji was a snarky self outcast who lived her life in a wheelchair, and honestly, would prefer that this be here life, instead of that boring existance, though, only merek would know the real 'person' within this group.

Yeowang nods about streetlights, but reminds Merek, "They warned us not to bring too many new things over there." She smirks as Shiruba says basically the same thing. As far as the data drain thing, that's more confusing game nonsense that so far she's been able to deal with by ignoring. She agrees with Erufu, and says, "I'd have thousand KW floodlamps if I thought it'd keep it safer...."

    Merek looks then to Mizuki, while he thinks about. A nod along to Allynna, who doesn't know either. "Alright, I will explain. You know I don't like to keep things from people. Data Drain is a Power Path, the ones we learned about ages away," he then nods to Yeowang and Shiruba, "I won't. It's only for the landing and its defense." Then to the two he's mentioning the Data Drain with, "It allows me to use a designation that was given to me to activate this relic." The man pats the leather strap which he wears with alchemical equipment. "It's a relic made by the Blind One, crafted by her. It lets me extract data from the target, I can take the memories of the people I touch, and I can take the ability of my enemies away. Like thier ability to use powers. I'm told it is dangerous to the Cosmosphere of me and the target, probably."

Allynna blinks a few times, and her cheery tone drops only slightly for just a moment. "Wait.. wait wait.. you mean you can drain data from a player or game object..." She says with a wide eyed look. "And here I thought my shield was a balance issue." She says before giving a smile. "Welp, always gotta use your full toolkit right Merek?" She says with a firm slap on his back. "So this farmland you are working on, what types of food are you gonna grow?" She asks, because of course she would ask about food. "Also.. where can a gal get a decent bowl of ramen?"

Shiruba takes out one of Instant Noodle packets that were invented from her inventory and offers it to Allynna. "Here, don't even need Cooking to prepare it. Or you can go over to Dun Loireag and get the real deal from the resturant there."

    Mizuki stares. A relic made by a god with a rare power... is that why Kite can do it?

    And... he was in Fragment too?

    Is... Merek one of the main characters??

    "The Cosmosphere... it seems to be what protects us from taking real injuries, makes us take damage to our HP bars, or status effects, instead..." She rubs at her neck at the memory of having her throat ripped out.

    "You... and her, were in Fragment, huh? Were you involved in any weird incidents... know anyone who disappeared, or got trapped in the game, or was in a coma...?"

Yeowang peers at Merek as he explains Data Drain. "I think I don't understand /any/ of what you just said. I mean, I understand relics, sort of, and I know who the Blind One is, of course, but what is 'extracting data from the target'? What is this Cosmosphere that it's dangerous for?"

To Allynna, she says, "Rice is one of the densest crops, for nutritional value to cultivation space, so we're planning on that for staples, and Palace Lands spices, because you get a lot of value for a small crop, to bring in a bit of cash to support our outlays and costs of hiring laborers."

    Merek looks then to Mizuki while he thinks about it, "I was around a while, anything like that though was said to be rumors. I wasn't involved in it," the man admits, "Cosmosphere. Ya, it's like that. I was data drain'd myself. Was taken to a... Well, it was like a white realm, then I don't really remember what happened in that place. I was taken by one of the members of the NWA from the fight, we went through a portal, created by Helba. She is from Fragment, that's what Silver Knight mentioned, and well. She teleported us to another white realm where we found portals along the place that, well took us to Yamato."

    Oh. Hmm. "A white realm? Yeah, I remember the portal room. That lady was from Fragment? Like, she was another player...?"

"Yeah but, Fragment was also bug riddled... and it was way to easy for people to simply PK players until they decided to quit playing." Allynna says with a frown. "So, this white room, you thgink it was a server room?" She asks merek, who is to her knowledge pretty handy with that kind of stuff, just as she is pretty much a legal expert and negotiator.

Erufu folds her arms and pauses "Helba a name I heard once a thousand years ago on another world." She shake he head. "To think a wizard has lived so long and not needed to become a litch." She seem to be mostly taking this seirously. "This Datadrain it hurt those who were hit by it. In a way none seemed to wish to speak of." Elf nods "Aye she is not a person of the Land so far as I'm aware but I knew little of the shadow war fought back then on that sadly long fallen world."

Yeowang listens quietly to this talk of data drain. She doesn't understand it, but she doesn't understand Magical or any of the elements very well, either, so that's probably nothing special. She won't be contributing to this part of the discussion.

    "Well, that sounds like an awful bug..." Mizuki comments about Endless PKing.

    Helba... "So wait, you're saying maybe she's one of the admins?! Gosh, what HAVE they been doing all this time, I wonder... one supposedly took control of an NPC in Ezzo to lead the evacuation, right? But we haven't heard from them since..."

    "I don't know. It might be a server room," Merek will note to people, then he nods a bit to Mizuki, Erufu, and along with Allynna, "Anyway. Allynna, can I walk you around town, show you a few things? I might be like... You know, in all these things all the time, but sometimes even I need a break." A smile along to Shiruba. "Wanna come with?" The man nods and lets that offer for all the party.

Allynna smiles as the others talk, and puts her lute away. "Well, I'm not much help in the lore department, but, if you are going to tackle somthing big and nasty, then I'll definatly go." She pats Merek on the shoulder. "Tomorrow maybe, I need to get a bath and sleep... I also need to find a velvet pillow to put my new baby on." She says as she waves to thge rest. "I'm around if you all need anything." She says as she heads towards where the silver sword sleeping quarters is. "I wonder if william is back..."
