Green Dragon Potato

    Merek is settled about along the bar, while he takes the time to order a few potatoes with an ale, the man wearing the dark attire without his armor, taking the time to relax. He takes a drink of that alcohol while he watches the people.

    Hooded in her pseudo-concealing poncho, Naniko enters the inn and stands long enough for it to get awkward as she examines this and that person. Soon, she approaches Merek. "You're Merek?" she asks.

    Merek looks up to Naniko and nods a little to the woman, speaking in what looks like a rough voice, it's cleared it is still healing up, "That would be me," the man offers. Then he takes a drink of the ale, while he takes the time to look at the woman, "And you?"

    "Yeowang mentioned you in a conversation we had outside," the Undine says, pulling down her hood to reveal the shock of short, aqua-blue hair. "I thought I'd come in and see if I could find you." She bows slightly in a very practiced, foreign way. "I'm Naniko." She put the stress on the first syllable of her name, which made it sound a bit more like a name, at least to her ears.

    Merek will nod a little bit to Naniko, then he considers that. "It's a pleasure, anything in particular that was brought up that you need to know about?" the man asks. That rough voice of his seems to still keep through the conversation, though he's not really hoarse like he was before completely anymore.

    Naniko moves to sit on the bar stool next to Merek's. "Defense," Naniko says. "You're in charge of defense in the new settlement. That's how I understood it."

    "Aye, I am building the defense of Seeker's Landing, she is dealing with the farm," Merek will explain. "A lot of work to be managed before we can really call it a trading settlement. It will take a lot of people assisting probably."

    Naniko nods. "I'm not sure about anything, just now," she says. She gestures vaguely. "I'm still trying to get set up to do the quest to even be able to go there."

    Merek nods to Naniko, "Well, I assist people with the trip on boat, when they need it." Then he's drinking that ale, "It's usually best when you have people with you. I think when the trade route is established, it might get a little bit easier."

    "No idea," Naniko admits. She huffs out a breath through her nose and says, "Well, I guess that's us introduced." She stands.

    Merek nods a little to Naniko, "If you ever need anything, you are welcome to ask, I appreciate meeting you," he offers, while he takes the time to relax drinking that ale.

    "Yeah," Naniko says. Turning, she aims herself at the door, saying nothing else and leaving the man to his drinking.
