Store Bought Is Fine

She's teetering unsteadily, she's yawning, she's got bags under her eyes.

As Uta crosses the threshold into Merek's Elixir Emporium, it takes a little bit of staggering before she reaches the main counter. People able to inspect for status effects will notice << Filth >>, all the others... well, they probably have a nose for that.

    Merek walks along and into the place from the work area while taking the time to adjust his dark attire, nodding when he notes Uta about. "You seem to be a bit distracted, what are you up to?" he asks.

Uta raises a finger, opens her mouth, and-

-a loud stomach growl ensues-

"Excuse me," she apologizes, and clears her voice.

She raises her finger again, and says, "Distracted? No, Merek! I've never *yaaaaaaawn* been this focused in a long time!" She leans over to Merek, and will even attempt to grab his shoulders if she manages to. "I need to start a Conservatory! An institute to preserve, study, teach, and celebrate the Music of Yamato! Record the Landers' Songs! Build the best musical instruments! Advance the technology! Train the virtuosos of tomorrow!" She'll lean even closer, and with her eyes open wide, perhaps to a slightly worrying extent, whisper, "It cannot wait!"

    Merek nods a bit to Uta, it's probably like that mood, "Well, I can understand. I will assist anyway that I will be able, what did you need?" he asks, taking a look about the place while he thinks about it.

"The building needs some paint thinner. I will also need varnish and lacquer for some instruments. And glue. Lots of glue. I will need to build a few phonographs, that's precision equipment, so I am going to have more shellac cylinders made...", Uta begins to rattle out, counting on her finger at each new item she orders.

    Merek will take the time to offer a little nod along to Uta, "I will assist with that."

Uta continues to go through the bottles on display, "Excellent, excellent. I'm also going to need ink. More ink. For all the transcriptions that will be needed. Books. Copyists. Also polish. Those wooden instruments and pieces of furniture need to -shine- for the grand opening." She doesn't even turn to look to Merek, she just keeps stashing bottles into her inventory, making sure to make a running list of everything she disappears in a shine of light.
