Darts and Beer

You can always tell when Shiruba has been out to the hunting preserve because she usually brings her results in to be prepared. Most of it ends up going to feeding the guild as a whole but she still gets a good meal out of it herself. After which she's just relaxing, because goodness knows she doesn't get to do that often enough some days, because being a guild officer is a lot of work!

Erufu has also been hunting nad working on song. She's also taken to singing some nights for her customers and renters at the Inn too. Tonight the elf was in very good spirits too she'd just finished up singing and was done with any of her real work for the night. So she was looking over to SHirub and grinning.

"So Shiryba good to see you. Do you feel up for a game?"

Shiruba takes a moment to wipe her mouth with a napkin, then picks up her partially drunk mug of beer and walks over to Elf. "What sort of game do you have in mind at this hour?"

Erufu grins again and has a mug of beer in one hand. In the other appears to be darts.

"I'm thinking darts! No fancy rule just to see who can get the most bulleyes! Whatcha say?!" She clearly had some of that beer already...

Shiruba takes a drink, then sets the mug aside and holds out a hand. "Sure. I'll be sure to not use any Spell Fletcher magic to keep it a fair match."

Erufu makes a face, maybe she should learn some magic as well. Well at some point for now she dirnks some more of her beer. "Since you are the guest and younger than I by centuries you can go first!"

Shiruba doesn't argue the age remark since technically she'd be younger anyways, and has gotten use to some folk just entirely being what was once their character. She hasn't gotten entirely that far herself, but she is mosty definitely more Shiruba than she ever was anyone else at this point. "Fair enough." She takes three of the darts, takes a moment to aim, and tosses one after another at the board.

Erufu has had a bit too much then again she has no tolerance thankfully she seem to ahve th sense this will be her last beer for the night at least. She watches Shiruba take her turn and wiull then line up looking at them fir a moment. "Not too bad at all there friend."

With that she'll throw her three darts at the board....

Shiruba collects her darts and steps out of the way so Erufu can throw. Let's out a soft whistle. "Seems you have more experience with throwing than I do." Walks back over to the marker line while giving her friend a moment to collect her own. "I only throw my glaive, and occasionally a knife or two." She comments, and tries to line up three more shots.

Erufu says "It's a good way to keep working with one's aiming when the winters are too cold you go hunt save for dire need." She notes with a grin before she will recover her darts and watches Shiruba for a moment and let he take her turn. She'll then go back to the line and throw three more.

"At some point I should see about introducing you to my family."

Shiruba has been able to hit with reasonable accuracy on the middle bars but not actually get near the bullseye yet. "I don't know about that, cold doesn't really bother me too much." Being she's part wolf, and able to manipulate certain aspects of her environment with magic. "That would be interesting." For the curiousity of seeing if they actually identify as part of a family. Shiruba throws a few more times. "I'll be honest, I probably rely on some of my magic more than I should."

Things are pretty close for the two with the darts and she looks to Shiruba for a moment.

"You never know if some dungeon or monster might have a way to supress magic you know. After all Anti Magic Field is spell that could exist out there." She will take some more darts and then star throweing them again going to fish her beer off. "Soooo you got anyone yet?"

Shiruba takes a drink from her mug while waiting her turn. She's far from the hardiest drinker, but she's been pacing out her drinks as to not get overwhelmed. "Exactly. If it exists in the world, there likely exists some manner of countering it. Or a dungeon enchanted to only allow certain capabilities." She starts throwing her darts. "But you've trained with me. You know I don't rely -entirely- on it like some mage would. You were able to learn some of my technique after all." The last dart gets tossed.

"Got anyone for what?" she replies in terribly feigned obliviousness.

Erufu says "It's why at some point I need to see if I can learn any magic myself." She notes with a grin and she pauses for a moment. "You know someone you got your eye onnn. I mean there's someone I do but he's rather focued on other things right now..." She sighs and throws her darts.

Shiruba rolls her eyes at the explaination, just because she was playing dumb at not getting the context. "No, I do not. Between the guild, the expedition and dealing with the Forgotten when they crop up I really don't have much time for such things." It's followed by a soft bemused snort. "I'm sure he is." Erufu doesn't really leave much doubt as to who she's hinting at. She hands the darts she was using back. "That was fun, but I should head back to my quarters before the beer really hits me."

Erufu takes the darts back and nods to her friend "I understand how that could be. Hopefully things will get better once the Forgotton are handled once and for all." She will go to put the dart awya no and mutters she's looking a bit flushed. "I think I better go get to bed too." She doesn't make it as she passes out at one of the tables wooops...
